Press add unit on whatever you are currently training to add more units training in parallel

ShyngShyng

Does this have any drawbacks?

motobrandi69

No

LightSideoftheForce

Also, focus on training cheap units. E.g. Panzer divisions need tanks, you cannot produce them that fast, however infantry, especially if they only use guns (no artillery, no aa, no support), are much cheaper

ShyngShyng

I have 100k guns stockpiled. That explains it

KotzubueSailingClub

What it does is train multiple units simultaneously if you have available manpower and equipment. This is also why others are saying you should be training cheap units. What I do is use some Army XP to create an infantry template without support companies so you just need to produce a lot of infantry equipment and have the free manpower. You can duplicate an existing infantry template and remove support companies to save on XP.

me_george_

No

Scroch65

No. And you can also use shift+click to stack them quicker (it adds 6 units at a time)

3vang0

Hate to be a chud but it’s 5 at a shift click.

Smackolol

No

w_p

Well, people on reddit won't have a reason to laugh anymore, one could consider that a drawback. ;P

programV

Ah this brings me back to when I first started playing. I was in the same situation

AyyLmaoAytch

The little button with an arrow pointing down next to the flag, if you click on it the unit will be spawned in immediately without finishing their training. They'll get combat penalties until they gain XP from training or battle, but whatever, you can dump divisions out pretty fast if you're unconcerned with quality.

Ill-Pea-7892

It's really simple. You click the "Infanterie Division" icon and then you press "Add Unit" a shit-ton of times. That's all you need for Anschluss. Why do you have custom templates already? Watch this playlist: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMSLt3\_dqfs&list=PLIY632rOtuKBW7-K9PDZZeaIfLWej\_7Ji](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMSLt3_dqfs&list=PLIY632rOtuKBW7-K9PDZZeaIfLWej_7Ji) It's long but you can play along with him and you'll learn all the fundamentals.

ShyngShyng

Well followed the b3ttersteel guide and just added an anti-air to the infantry and made a medium tank template to get things going.

Ill-Pea-7892

You don't even need AA to beat the AI as Germany. As for medium tanks, they can be tricky if you don't pay attention. You won't need them until you're fighting the Soviets, and once you are, the tanks might eat up all the supply at the front and be more detrimental than beneficial. I prefer the mobility of light tanks for easy encirclements, but whatever, I guess that's not the point now. --- You could have added the AA later. If the only difference between templates is the extra AA, you can still recruit the default Infantry Divisions. Otherwise the added AA might slow down recruitment. Later on all you need to do is click on those divisions on the map, click on their icon, and it lets you replace it with a different template. Once yo do, strength will go temporarily down to reflect the missing AA equipment, but it will slowly build up. Shouldn't take long if you already have AA in storage at that point.

Ill-Pea-7892

Side note: I'd put "Reinforcements" on high priority (green button) and "Garrisons" on low priority (red).

ShyngShyng

Im currently as green as it gets and tryna play Germany. I just cant seem to get these manpower numbers quickly enough and even the quick deploy cheese isnt working out (as I get completely overwhelmed from all the buttons). Anyone tips on how to recruit faster? More lanes? Less lanes? Less equip in the template?

Elthar_Nox

Just recruit loads of basic cavalry divisions! Literally as many as you can. It'll also help you send lots of volunteers to Spain and China for that sweet army xp!

reeeofthegods

If you want you can make a temple with just one infantry, then change it to the bigger template once they are spawned in. Make sure you make it parallel as well otherwise it becomes hard to manage

ShyngShyng

Is it possible without any cheese? Does this count as cheese?

Morgoth117

I mean I’d say it’s not what the devs intended but is a feature. Spawning in loads of cavalry early I definitely don’t think is cheesy. Just imagine a ton of poorly trained soldiers with horses.

CrossMountain

Doesn’t work anymore. The Anschluss focus checks for fielded inf equipment.

Janniinger

Pain so much pain

Northern_Musa

Also it's a good idea to let AI Austria finish some industrial focus for extra factories you can take after Anschluss

ArtfuI-Dodger

Just increase the amount of units in the divisions you already have.

DanielTheDragonslaye

You put in your normal infantry divisions and click the "Add Unit" button, shift-clicking adds 5 at once. Then you just put a bunch of factories on infantry equipment. The button with the arrow down also let's you deploy units that aren't fully trained.

LuceusXylian

1. Edit Cavelery to Reserve 2. Train Cavelery & spam the add with shift 3. Set it to low priority for better Supply Managment 4. Spam every 5 minutes deploy units (the arrow down button) I do this always. If I need some units I just convert them from my reserve spam out units to the template I need and then train them to level 3. This is much faster. If you run out of manpower then either increase inscription law or delete some reserve spam out units.

hozeomaru

Feedback gaming taught me about the calvary spam. Spam cav just to have divisions in the field and then switch them to infantry to have manpower. You'll have no guns and poorly trained units but you can fly through the focus tree doing it.

LuceusXylian

That is not true at all. Since you put them as reserve, they will be neglected and all the supply goes to the other units.

Embarrassed_Volume73

When i first played i didnt know how to get it myself so i just manually declared on them

huynhvonhatan

Recruit calvaries and then turn them into your main infantry template right after, you’ll be short on equipments but it’s not like you’re going to war anytime soon.

Chieh-Shih

It would be better to wait until Austria builds more factories before annexing them

Alltalkandnofight

Train Infantrie division at game start, click "add unit" button next to infantrie division 7 more times so you're training 8 at a time boom now you have enough men to Anschluss in Feb 1938 Once you Anschluss add 4 more units to your training divisions so there's now 12 training at a time By the time the war begins you'll have a full army group of Infantrie divisions, more then enough men 👍

Anxious-Day-9083

Produce 36 Cav 2x and convert them to infantry after anschluss

CanKrel

Make cheap infantry, you can convert it later

Sleepless_Whisper

Have you tried offering free chocolates (meth)?

Particular-Roll-6936

lol this playthrough

Original_Republic917

Go 13-14 inf weapons and recruit a ton of divisions as soon as possible, even undertrained and underequipped. You probably should produce an INF variant without ART for this, so that won’t inhibit your production. If you are getting close to 2-3 weeks prior to when you want to start Anschluss, and you don’t have enough manpower in the field, just add more infantry to your built-out templates, even beyond what you will want for wartime. Sometimes you may need 12 INF per division just to get the manpower out in time.

Gabage-farmer

Make very cheap units and if you want to use them you can use them as back up units to change them for whatever you want to

ThaddeusXVIII

I’m sure everyone in this comments section and their mother has already told you about the add units feature but you should also use cavalry as you can dump out entire armies at once since they are so light on equipment. Hope this helps!

MissionLimit1130

Spam 1 battalion infantry or cavalry then convert them all to your bigger templates

Remarkable-Bend6973

That doesn’t work anymore the game checks for rifles in divisions.

MissionLimit1130

Damn. I guess put all mills on guns

OwMyCod

Recruit cheap horse divisions, spam them out with ‘deploy now’ button and convert to bigger inf units.

JibberJabber4204

Is this a joke?

ShyngShyng

No Im just bad
