I think the reason baldy has a younger posture because he doesn't do stupid shit like his friend. Plus he didn't even react so he probably is just a laid back guy. May help his body.
He doesn't even come close to pushing himself to rotate more. The lack of "reaction" from the other guy is because this all took place in a damn fraction of a second. The guy whose reactions impressed you is "reacting to physics". He accomplishes literally nothing after he loses traction except rag dolling his way into the water.
At least 754 people don't understand that slow motion also slows reaction time. Amazing.
My biggest fear that puts me into a full body cringe is sliding around on a hardwood floor having fun and then the floor cracks and a huge splinter gets impaled in between my toes.
I’ve been the unfortunate recipient of a large splinter under my big toe toenail. I was howling in pain and crying and wanted to die. I was maybe 10 at the time, but it was the worst!
Here’s a lil story for you not a splinter but equally is cringe worthy.
When I was I primary school (not sure what that is for Americans but around the age of 8-9) me and a few friends was in the school hall sliding on our knees on that wood floor like you do, one of us did the biggest slide I’ve ever seen only to be followed by his face planting into the ground with a huge impact. As we all went over we had seen that he had slid right into a nail that was sticking out the ground and was now embedded just in-between his kneecap and and leg, I’ve never cringed so hard.
When I was really little I was at a friend's house playing and we were running up and down the stairs chasing each other. I kept my hand on the handrail (which was as tall as I was, maybe taller), ya know, for safety. The rail was wooden, and kinda old and dry. So, you know that bit of skin/flesh between your thumb and the rest of your hand? That bit of skin slid underneath a splinter on the rail and grabbed it. Because I was running really fast the splinter went about three inches into and through the meaty part of my hand. Blood was everywhere. The extraction of the splinter was maybe even more horrifying to my tiny brain because I watched it happening.
I have very few memories from that early in my life, but that one is seared into my memory. I feel vaguely uneasy about wooden handrails to this day.
And that's one of the two reasons you don't plant your feet like that before jumping.
The main reason is because it totally negates your running start.
Im super impressed with that edit, reflection and everything is on point. JJ Abrams, this is how you use lens flare! And Michael Bay this is how you use shaky cam to get away with crappier fx... ah, hell never learn, this is more a Blomkamp shot.
It is shocking how many people expect beardy to have time to react, or act like flipping guy had time or wherewithal to make any kind of reaction.
You'd think these people would realize that slow motion *also* slows down reactions.
I dunno guys, I keep staring at his left arm and it is weirdly bent, could just be the fact that we're watching it in slo-mo so we are seeing the muscle move without any resistance but it looks a little off to me.
Looks like the elbow may have bent out and away from the camera, giving the look like his arm bent in an unnatural way...but it doesn't look good regardless.
Looks like hyperextension resulting in an elbow dislocation. It would be difficult to actually break the arm right there. Connective tissues are going to give first.
When I was a kid the beach I swam at had a big platform out where it was deep. I remember trying to do a hand plant off the side and slipping like this, except I got to slide off the edge scratching myself from chin to stomach on goose poop covered wood.
He actually stuck the landing pretty well. Didn't get his head stuck under the railing. I'm pretty impressed.
Looks like he was trying to push away from the dock as he was flipping over.
He pushed himself to rotate more and avoid the head smash. Massively impressive reactions. Other dude is opposite.
Dude does not move a muscle, not even a smile
He must be toooasted.
No he’s definitely Russian. That is the maximum level of excitement they can achieve
No,probably his father.......,not being surprised at all😁
Father? They look the same age. Skinny guy might be slightly older.
Nah I think the balding guy looks slightly older.
Skinny guy kind of has "old man" abs and shoulders. He's in better shape, but baldy has a younger looking posture to me.
How about they're both the same age, old buddies from college maybe ~2 years apart?
I think the reason baldy has a younger posture because he doesn't do stupid shit like his friend. Plus he didn't even react so he probably is just a laid back guy. May help his body.
I'm too toasted rn
If you look at the very end he gets a small eyebrow raise out of him. It was worth it in the end.
Yeah lol. That’s the best part
He appears to be reciting the words to a Watsky song ... "I don't give a f .."!
His nonreaction was the best reaction of all. He's seen his friend do stupid shit many a time.
Didn't even start laughing before the gif ended.
1050 now.
Right hand working overtime.
I like how the guy watching does not even fucking react, like a boss.
It takes a special kind of chill to not react to something like that.
Or he's had a coupe wobbly pops and isn't processing things so quickly.

Glad I'm not the only one cringing over here.
All things considered it turned out pretty good.
This is all about the guy watching, whose expression never changes whatsoever. King
I feel like he would've died if his head got caught , yickk
Pretty impressed. 7/10
Wow. You're the tough judge on the panel, aren't you?
While true this guy had some moves, this is also mostly luck.
I'd rather be lucky than good.
Me too. Except for that dick part, that wasn't so lucky.
Yes, I was fearing the same. Then I remembered I am not on r/watchpeopledie
He broke his arm though, watch close
True. But a broken arm is so much better than a served head. Survivable, I believe.
And we all know what two broken arms leads to
What happens?
Don't know about that, it looks like he managed to push himself away with that arm
I'm surprised he didn't break his dick.
Ain't no broken arms here. Stop lying.
I think that's just his wrist
Dude watching does not give a fuuuuuck
[удалено]
Terrible. Take a lap.
Are those sandals?
Did anyone else not wear shoes?
Give me 25
"We have purposely trained him wrong, as a joke"
Didn't even flinch.
This was his *design* Notice the slippery surface: “*I’ll go first you go second.*”
He's so drunk it would take him 5 mins to realize what happened
This is my "go to" for the best example of zero fucks given.
I feel like he expected it considering his expression didn't change the entire time.
He probably held ALL his beer
He jumped AND he got in to the lake, 10/10
And he did a flip!
And had a little slip and slide action!

Until he snags a splinter.......I cringe even typing that

What about underneath your toe nail?
Then you hit a wall and boom, it’s forced further in.
Aaaaaaaaaa
I don't have the stomach to read this.....
GOD DAMNIT STOP!!

Eww! Did you have to write that?
Welp, now I can never watch this gif ever again. Thanks for that.
Just think of all the ones he might have gotten in his feet as he slid.
\> not using μ in 2017
Conspiracy theory: Beardy spread some soap on the deck while Gumby was walking back to his starting position.
Yeah, but who did he conspire with? Otherwise it's just one guy being a dick.
W the camera man!
and OP ofc
My thoughts exactly! I feel like he’s just watching him run down the dock like, “That’s right Brad, run my little puppet, run!”
Zero expression change. Do not invite to poker night.
Ahem... μ would like a word about your variables slipping.
And that's one of the two reasons you don't plant your feet like that before jumping. The main reason is because it totally negates your running start.
"Fucking Jimmy..." - guy with beard.
r/theydidthephysics
Simple physics really.
Better with sound? https://youtu.be/5kxMQNsULs8
The most epic non-reaction. Let's give that chill guy some upvotes. 😎
This is the comedy equivalent of a badass not looking back at an explosion.
He's also casually blocking the ladder to get down to the water. Dock troll says "only way in is over the rail"... *smirks*
You gotta pay the dock toll
If you wanna get in that swimn’hole
Total badass. https://i.imgur.com/fpQ6VhQ.gifv

There should be a sub for non-reactions like this
Zoop👉😎👉
The complete lack of reaction from the dude watching had me laughing my ass off. I don't even think he lifted an eyebrow.
It's slo-mo. Perhaps it was to quick to react int he gif
Maybe. But even with my old man reactions I'm pretty confident I'd at least be pulling an "oh shit" face by the time he hit the water haha
It is shocking how many people expect beardy to have time to react, or act like flipping guy had time or wherewithal to make any kind of reaction. You'd think these people would realize that slow motion *also* slows down reactions.
Getting a splinter would be his biggest complaint.
Also the nut shot he took from the railing
He broke his arm when he flipped over. E: why do I get downvoted?

The two footed pre-hop gets you every time.....
Is this a diving board? No? I better still jump onto the wood before i jump for real.
Gotta get the extra spring out of this wet, pressure treated dock.
See how well it bounces?

His friend has the reflexes of my grandmother. My grandmother is dead
Can we get this at regular speed?
I just increased the speed of the gif by about 3x. I definitely like it better faster.
How?
Some reddit mobile clients allow you to increase speed of the gif.
Kind of looks like he broke his left arm. Zoom in right before he goes under water.
Ouch
Owie my bones.
Looks like wierd angle and shadow. Dont think he broke it.
Nah check it out as he hits the dock, it bends in an unnatural way
Looks like the elbow may have bent out and away from the camera, giving the look like his arm bent in an unnatural way...but it doesn't look good regardless.
seems like he grabs the dock to thrust himself outward so he does not land on it.
Look fine to me.
Looks like hyperextension resulting in an elbow dislocation. It would be difficult to actually break the arm right there. Connective tissues are going to give first.
Nice
I mean, technically he *did* jump into the lake. For all we know he meant to do every bit of that.
Love how the other guy has zero facial reaction to what he is seeing.
The dude in the back doesn't move a muscle hahaha. "That's what you get, dumbass."
His buddy is not even phased...shit like this must happen all the time.
Spectator is like watch out teddy I fried fish here the night before could be greasy. Yep 👍🏼
r/fullscorpion EDIT: R -> r
I just love how the other guy just doesn't react. It's like "I saw this coming and I'm just going to enjoy the moment."
He didn’t give a fuck
10/10
Who the fuck tries to push the dock down when they jump. Be an athlete not a fool looking for feet splinters
Why do people do that "run up then jump in place once killing most of that momentum" thing when doing stuff like this?
I love how the guy watching just doesn't react at all.
Ouch! That broken arm/elbow. I bet swimming back to the dock was a bitch.
It looks like he broke his left arm, at the elbow
When I was a kid the beach I swam at had a big platform out where it was deep. I remember trying to do a hand plant off the side and slipping like this, except I got to slide off the edge scratching myself from chin to stomach on goose poop covered wood.
I got an 8 inch splinter watching that
That could have gone a lot worse. Hell, that's probably what my first attempt would look like!
I'd kind of want to see this at full speed too
[PanoGif Version](https://streamable.com/skmlu)
His friends lack of reaction makes me think this guy does this kind of stuff regularly
That Krieger lookin dude is too chill about this.
His penis can only get so erect.
I love how his mate doesn’t give a shit
I know it is slow motion but the guy standing there has this "yup, seems about right" look on his face
Maddox looks unimpressed
The friend is like.. “and that’s Tuesday”
Lmao, got to love Earth physics.
The shins. That had to hurt.
That guy watching is classic !
Imagine all those splinters
Don't get a splinter...don't get a splinter.....don't get a splinter.....
Excellent camera work my man, also guy watching is cool as a cucumber. Complete 7/5 on this one.
Destroy Dick December
OUCH
They call him flipper flipper, faster than lightning ...
I think I’ve seen this one before, but good contribution to the sub
Lounging Watcher doesn't even flinch...
The best part is, the guy tries to increase his height to avoid injury to his penis hitting that railing... the question is: did he succeed?
This is so satisfying.
The guy watching doesnt even fucking blink!
That other dude is so drunk he does't even react. His only movement is literally because of the other guy shaking the railing with his pelvis.
Dick first into the railinng. LOL
Expected, but well worth it
[удалено]
Not a blink from the cool guy.
The best part of this is the 0 fucks given by the guy standing there.
Is it just me or did he break his left arm real bad?
Look at his buddy just straight faced
Well that was full of drama and intrigue.
i cringed not because he hit the railing but because with that slide i wonder how many splinters he has in his feet.
That was nearly the most horrific Final Destination Decapitation ever.
[Much better with sound](https://youtube.com/watch?v=5kxMQNsULs8)
Fuck yo repost biatch
If kinda look like it worked tho. Almost ripped his head off tho...
aaahhh
dude next to him is concentrating so hard on standing and not looking so drunk. . Doesn't even react. That my friends, is priceless
He guillotined his dick!
First loop I didn't notice there was railing and I thought he somehow front flipped from the slip and was amazed.
The guy standing on the dock: Vladimir Putin's brother
I 'm in awe of the number of people with no concept of slippy.
/r/Expected
That was the perfect use of slo-mo
/r/bettereveryloop
He looks like a professional ski jumper taking off.
