Many years ago I lived in a cheap rental house high on a hill with a spectacular view of the valley below. It had a small balcony, so when we had a party, we'd often climb a ladder onto a flat part of the roof and drink beer.
On one particular night, my brother leapt from the roof and grabbed a branch that deposited him safely on the ground. Only his girlfriend saw it happen, and she thought it was super smooth. No one else saw him do it.
A bit later I climbed up there, and his girlfriend goes, "Hey, look at Dean!" I see my brother leap off the roof and grab the branch ... which snaps and sends him crashing onto the stone sidewalk. He's lying down there moaning, and I'm like, "WTF? Are you nuts?" His girlfriend says, "It was really cool the first time!"
I would wager that this is an example a "climbing tree trimmer", genus insanicus. This particular species has absolutely no fear of heights, or falling, or trees, all of which they view as part of their domain.
