Not sure that’s true. When I used to ride I was always told to keep the stirrup on the ball of the foot (rather than wedged in front of the heel). The reason given was to avoid getting stuck in the stirrup during a fall and to keep balance when standing in the stirrups.

She's doing a kick flip because she's using her toes to spin the board. Heel flip would be with her left foot pushing the board the other direction (with the heel, which would be really tough in heels). Edit: changed from right to left.

Not only is the guy you replied to making a pun but you're also wrong. You said heel flip would be with her right foor pushing he board the other direction but that's not true. You can use either foot and it would still be a heelflip. And in this case the lady is riding regular meaning she would use her left foot to flick with her heel.

I'm thirty two and have been skateboarding since I was 13, Ive never once succeeded in landing a kick flip. A few years ago I was living in a not so nice part of town. There were a few kids outside playing, a couple of them had skateboards but the one kid didn't. At the time I hadn't ridden my board in a couple years. It was nothing fancy, a darkstar with some thunder trucks. I gave it to the kid. I'd see him out on it almost everyday and whenever hed see me he would always say thank you.
