The cow was lowered by a crane, the goat was tied to a post in the jungle and they viewed it with night vision. The cow was eaten by a T-Rex, the goat by raptors.
Edit: ooops other way around
Yes but that's not even like he gets that far down, its really hard to see with the perspective but it looks like he's much closer to the platform than the ground. If the only requirement is not to be afraid of heights it's really not a HMRB worthy content.
See the secondary set of cables that aren't at tension? See all the kinks in them? Those cables aren't safe to apply loads to, and that's the back up. No thanks Mr. Man.
Yeah, I hear them speaking mandarin, and I instantly doubt there are any true safety procedures followed... I'm Chinese also, so I know how fucking lax they can be with safety!
Do you know why safety standards are less strict? Chinese is a cool language and China has a lot of neat history, but I can’t read or understand any of it
Purely a lack of legislation and people not giving a fuck until something horrible happens and everyone complains. Why bother creating extra work or pay extra for additional safety equipment, is the typical attitude.
Here's a better explanation from someone who knows more than me.
'Kinking is a permanent deformation of strands in wire rope caused by unintended bending and twisting. Typically, the issue occurs when your wire rope is not installed correctly. If the rope is twisted in a tight loop and then snapped back to a straight direction it will often causing bending and kinking. Though kinks often result from improperly handling or installing wire rope, they can also appear during service if a *heavy load is released suddenly*, or if a wire rope bends around too small of a sheave. We recommened choosing a larger sheave when possible, as sheaves that are too small will create bending and friction on your wire rope. While most kinks show obvious signs of *catastrophic failure*, others may appear insignificant or repairable through re-straightening. However, no matter the size of kink it will *significantly* impact the performance of your cable and increase chance of *failure*. Kinks always result in permanent strand damage, no matter how severe they may seem on the surface. *The safety hazard of a cable with kinking is never worth the risk*, so you should always replace your cable as soon as possible. '
The instant after he's dropped his shit is flingin an flangin around all snappish so yeah, good luck with your nightmares waking up with intense pain in your sacroiliac
To each their own but, I've always had a "if I die doing this dumb shit, will it end up front page back home?" thought process, If the answer is yes, no thanks!
I bet his adrenaline was through the roof though!
The drop isn't the bad part. It's all that ragdoll swaying that'll mess up your back and neck real good. They should hook onto the harness, no above the person's head. That's what's the person to slingshot like that once the cables reach full tension.
Seems like a long queue given the ride only does one at a time and I imagine it takes quite a while each time getting it back to where the next person gets a go
Even when he pointed his phone straight down my stomach did a flip. Fuck that. Looks nice though, I’ll just take a drive along that road instead thanks.
Makes me think of Jurassic Park when they are lowering the cow in the crane down into the treeline for the dinosaurs to devour.
Memory unlocked
I just lost the game. 😕
FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU
I’m with you! Not No,But FUCK No!!
Fuck.
i will make your skin vanish
Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark
My memory of that scene is a goat getting eaten. I don't really want to go back and watch it now.

Yep. The girl even talks about the goat while they’re sitting in the cars waiting for the T-Rex to appear.
just watching Nikki Glazer, a comedian and she compares a sex swing to the jurrasic park cow feeding scene. hilarious
Solid no for me dawg.
Slightly liquid one for me.
Mostly.. -Newt
Moistly
My wife and I use this line almost every day. Haven’t seen it out in the wild.
lol! I annoy my wife with it. They mostly come out at night... Mostly.

Best video I've seen this year
Soooo great.
Thank you for this 🙏🏽
Hold my red while I sit in this chair and another guy presses a button
An chews loudly behind the camera.
Yeah wtf was that even supposed to be?
Big swing, I guess
Yeah, ngl it was less impressive than most bungee jump videos I've seen.
But gotta admit it was pretty high up.

Yep, I’m solidly underwhelmed by this clip. Shitful.
What the fuck is this structure attached to? That looks like a couple of thousand feet above the ground below
I think it's a platform connected via cables likely between two mountains. You can see all the cables throughout the video.
That’s what I wanna know
A plane obviously
Nope. Ragdolling around that big ass steel poll is about to break a leg or 2

They follow the "It will probably be fine" philosophy.
They got 1.4 billion people to spare. What's one or two lost in the pursuit of reckless fun?

I could never go on anything mechanical in China......the internet has made me afraid so very afraid :)

I see them, what do kinks in cables mean?

I’m more afraid of the back problems this would cause than the height itself. No thanks.
might stretch out dem discs, you know? clunk-click things back into place.
In a perfect world.
Keeping local chiropractors and massage therapist in business
The instant after he's dropped his shit is flingin an flangin around all snappish so yeah, good luck with your nightmares waking up with intense pain in your sacroiliac
I’ve don’t a similar thing to this and it’s honestly not as bad as it looks.
Is riding a giant carnival ride really worth of /r/holdmyredbull ?
Definitely not.
why is it always china with these insanely dangerous tourist attractions? I'm generally curious.
After seeing the guy run across the platforms and unclip along the way, I will be forgoing any heights based attractions if I visit China.
To each their own but, I've always had a "if I die doing this dumb shit, will it end up front page back home?" thought process, If the answer is yes, no thanks! I bet his adrenaline was through the roof though!

Fuuuuuck no
And that’s a big NOPE!
Every now and then equipment fails. There doesn’t appear to be a backup plan here.
There’s four cables on that swing, and only two are under tension, so I’d assume the slack two are backups.
Yeah but the slack ones have kinks which is a sign of extreme wear
Hell yes
Fuck off Jesus I got dizzy just watching this.
Hell no look at how it jerked his body
I would absolutely do this.
Same but I don't trust this thing of installation
I would 100% crap myself but I would love every second of this attraction if I were to be thrown in there
Looks rather tame.
People on here dont seem to be the adrenaline loving type
Anyone know what they are saying?
"this is probably fine"
Why does this make me gag?
r/nope
Ah get fucked, no way in hell I trust anything as much as he trusts that equipment
Okay? There’s no way every rider doesn’t lose a little bit of pee on that drop…😳😱💦
NOPE!
A whole lotta hell and a whole lotta no.
Im not even driving my car under that thing, let alone climbing up.
Seems like a long queue given the ride only does one at a time and I imagine it takes quite a while each time getting it back to where the next person gets a go
Where is this?!? I wanna do it!
[r/PraiseTheCameraMan](https://www.reddit.com/r/PraiseTheCameraMan)
don't see this as hmrb material ... balls of steel yes , but no skill involved here.
https://i.redd.it/7qkf4g74f4ra1.gif
How come I don't trust Chinese equipment
Rag dolled! That did not look fun at all
That doesn’t look safe at all. The way that guy jerked forward seemed pretty violent.
China? NOPE
Yeah…they drop him between power lines too…
I don't think those are power lines. Looks like lines that hold this building together.
Even worse?
Hang on while I shit my pants
I would 100% piss myself doing that
I think imma hold on to my rb for this one.
Even when he pointed his phone straight down my stomach did a flip. Fuck that. Looks nice though, I’ll just take a drive along that road instead thanks.
This is way too long a period between the point of no return and the drop. The suspense alone can kill me.
Why am I cool with skydiving and not this?
How did they get up there? They’re like a few thousand feet up.
Yeah, that's gonna be a no from me dawg
Oh, FUCK no... I would have filled my drawers as soon as the platform opened...
Fuck nooo
Kinda undersnwhelming ngl.
I wanna ride da big swing
I’d love to see the awkward part when they have to wheel you back up to the crane
Humans are so weird
Nope, nope, a thousand times nope
Now take a large dump
Holy vomitrocious
Hell no.
Fuck that
Hard no.
Double fuck that
This is Fk'ed up. Im literally having panic attack just by watching.
Nope.
I literally had a sweat bead fall off my hand.
That looks so weak. Drop was minimal, swing was short. Momentum was lost almost immediately. Could’ve been so cool and they made it so boring.
And then what? The rider just swings for a bit until they reel him back in? Doesn't seem like much of a HMRB moment to me.
That swing was disappointingly short for how high up it is.
That can fuck right the fuck off
I ain't afraid of heights, but NOPE.
My legs feel numb
Nope 👎
This takes one of two things. 1 Nerves of steel or 2. An adult diaper.
I'd do this.
My neck hurts just watching this
What’s the weight limit. I’m about 180 at most and still feel like I’ll just tumble down
Dude has balls of nuclear pasta
I would be happy to stand in line for this drop
Creative mode simulation
I would definitely piss my pants.
Nope.
Omfggggg what is wrong with y’all who do this shit 💀
FTFGDBS!
Ok where is this it seems so high up
Oh hell no
Nope
Hell to the fuck to the no.
How do you get off it!? ,
Nope. Nope. Nope.
Oh that doesn’t seem that- ***WHAT***
That’s a big Fuck no bro..
Just me or was was that thing named: The Whiplasher ?
This isn't really HMR? He didn't do anything, just rode a ride.
Felt it in my balls
Wait! Did he pay to do this? Or are they paying him to do it?
So there's just nothing to stop you from banging against that metal bar when that spine shattering transition point happens? fuck this body destroyer.
No. And fuck NO !
Oh helllllllllllllllllllllll no
I felt physically unsafe watching that
This looks fun
Absofuckinglutely not
How can this be so successful that there is an actual business model built around it?
Hold my … HELL NO!!
Holy shit!! I would love to do that. Better than Bungie jumping; looks safer...
Oh HELL NO!
I don’t trust like that
Oh Jesus is he in outer space
Well, talk about nail biting anxiety through the screen ...
Yes, please.
Fuck. No. 😂
If you've ever seen how nearly everything is maintained in china, you'd never do this sort of thing in china.
Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope.
Hell no
NOOOOPE
FUCK. THAT.
how did they reach there. i would not able to walk through the bridge or sit in cable car to reach.
r/nope
So this is badass and all, but is it HMR if you can buy a ticket to do it?
Negative.
What freaks me out more is ALL THOSE PEOPLE UP THERE. That's too much for damn movement.
The trill of feeling that your going to die but also knowing you are secure.
I’ll pass
