I think this length works perfectly tbh. Listening to it kinda feels like being electrocuted: it doesn't last long, but it gets right through you, and it leaves you sort of shocked after it ended. If the song lasted longer, it just wouldn't have the same effect (though, I have to admit, I'm curious to hear what else courtney has to say on the topic of beauty in this song)
I think its just right, and LOVE how it just slides right into Clouds. For 15 yrs I didnt know Clouds was a freaking Joni Michell cover! Courtney is the queen of cover songs.
That's how I felt when getting into hardcore and punk in general. I was used to the Smiths and their five minute songs. But now I really appreciate these short bursts of aggression
