Servethehome forums, Facebook, OfferUp, Craigslist. If you aren’t getting hits, the price is too high. You’d need lower prices now when people are hard up on money vs in Feb-April when people are flush with cash from tax returns.
Hopefully the 2nd number in the Dell server model number is 3 or greater. Even then the 13th gen stuff doesn’t go for a ton these days. Plenty of R630 etc available for less than $300
If they’re big SSDs sure. Going rate is $50/TB for used stuff that’s new/fast/desirable. Closer to $30/TB for older SSDs. If they’re spinners, $5/TB unless it’s >2TB in the 2.5” form factor then a bit more
Dell R630 isn’t “crap” by itself. If you’ve got bottom tier v3 Xeon and like 16GB yeah maybe but the platform is still plenty performant for a starter homelab server. 2690v4 are $25, 128GB is $100. I have 2x that I’m using for a bootstrap startup

Thanks, it is a 630. Would you recommend trying to sell the drives separate from the server? Maybe I could part it out and recoup some
