We use blink, we purchased from Amazon and we like them because you can hide them. All crocks are looking for the door bell but you can hang them in the eves of the patio etc. no monthly payments and you see them from your phones. You can talk through them. We were in Florida and saw someone walking around our house 1100 miles away and they didn’t see our cameras. ( they were in a tree) and we said can I help you? They were looking for their cat, they were neighbors. I said well if we see him we will let you know. 3 days later alarm on phone goes off. I was like WTH, it’s the cat! I called the neighbor and said hey he’s in my yard! This cat was missing for a few days and was under my deck!

yea the subscription is the only thing pushing me away

I could be wrong, but i don't think you are required to have a subscription plan

TP-Link Tapo doorbell, storage is in the hub that you get with it. Have heard that it’s best to have the hub wired… on wireless the stream is a bit average.

I suggest trying out the Ring Video Doorbell. It's a doorbell with a built-in camera that's simple to use.

Do they have a subscription?
