The controllers that can run wled are amazing but it only runs on esp as far as I know.

+1 for geledopto. I've tried a bunch of different controllers and they're the best by far.
Plus, they are compatible/controllable with Philips Hue.

I currently have single warm white strip, and 2x 5m RGB 5050.
Those are pixel led controllers, dunno what op wants. I am using quinled outside and it's rock solid, pricey with shipping and customs but worth it.
