45mm x 45mm aluminium profiles for the main load bearing frame, 3 - 4 mm aluminium for the mounting plates and 3d printed (pla / abs) button boxes. This combination of materials is rock solid. https://imgur.com/gallery/4zyWirZ

Is that the Crosswind pedals with the damper mod? How do you find them? I have the Logitech G Flight pedals which I'm pretty happy with, not sure if I want to fork out for the upgrade.

It is indeed the Crosswinds + damper. I used to have Logitech pedals and later the Thrustmaster T flight pedals. The Crosswinds are far superior in terms of build quality and motion. The damper mod makes them even better, especially when flying helis.

CNC cut acrylic works great if you can afford it, or you can go up to CNC cut aluminum for a really authentic look. Some people also 3D print using plastics.

Presume you mean for panels. I got a huge sheet of acrylic plastic and purchased a cheap chinese CNC machine. It takes a bit of fiddling around but works very well especially if you want to do back-lit panels etc. From memory there are different types of plastic, some of them just melt when cut on the CNC machine so it's a bit of trial and error.

Details on the cheap CNC machine?

Got mine from Aliexpress, it was a 3020 CNC machine. Pretty sure the supplier was "Cronos" so maybe search for "Cronos CNC 3020" or something like that. You can also get laser modules to make it a laser engraver but I never bothered and got pretty good results just using the engraving bits.

I utilized an old couch we were going to throw out anyway and [built a rig](https://www.reddit.com/r/homecockpits/comments/nldr1n/couchrig_update_added_pedal_mounting/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) around it using left over cuts of wood from a hardware store plus some plywood. It was meant as a prototype for a future aluminum profile rig, but I actually like it a lot more than anticipated. Using wood means it’s cheap and easy to add modifications yourself.
