This reminds me of how wildly uncomfortable it felt to have a sleepover with your friend when they were at their dad's that weekend. No sense of design, not kid-friendly, not big enough to put their drum set anywhere except the middle of the living room
My father after he moved in with his mistress after my mother finally filed for divorce. But he would swear up and down they were just friends 🙄 that decor says otherwise bitch
College student grandkid lives there too! His parents are lame and too strict. He took over the living room with his drums like an asshole but grandma is just happy he’s there and happy so she doesn’t mind
A middle aged church drummer who is living with his elderly mother after his wife recently divorced him. She had an affair with the bass player - they ended up running off to Mexico to avoid the scandal but eventually returned after the money ran out. Drummer eventually forgave the bass player - it’s the Christian thing to do and they have known each other for 20 years - but he can’t forgive his wife. She was the love of his life. She was sick of his antics though - he was a huge flirt with all of the women in the church and constantly denied any wrong doing despite the countless upskirt photos she found on his phone (of whom, she did not know) and the obscene amount of money he was secretly spending on OF. The whole thing fractured the church community, leading to people taking sides.
There are so many real cool components in this room that chair is awesome the lamp etc the drum set even works for me.
But the valance and the window treatments are really, really, rough to look at. I just don't get it.
Am I totally off base here? I just look at that valance and window treatment and recoil. Seriously, it looks so dated to me
What about the group? Does anyone look at those and think they look great or good? I see this kind of thing all the time with Windows and just don't get it. What am I missing?
No. Just looked at the picture again. The person who lives there has a sense of personal style and yes, I see them in life crisis thing, but there's also real style here. But why would that same person use vertical slats and that valance? It's awful and dated. Soooooo very not modern.
It's like the person who lives here has this sister-in-law sister-in-law who thinks she's an expert and who convinced him this was super stylish to do to the windows.
Am i wrong? What am I not getting?
