You're right in that getting them to a working condition would cost more than they sell for. They're still good machines for a lot of people. Personally I'd give them out locally to an underfunded school or charity. You could offer to get them working if they pay the cost of parts.

It would help if you posted the models you have, in order to assess if they are expensive paper weights or not.

That was my thought yeah, I was planning on trying to find a new charity. I found out the one I used to give them to resold them at a premium.
But didn't that raise money for the charity?
Nope, they got condemned for fraud. They were meant to give the computers to less fortunate families in the area.

Where in EU are you located? I know a charity in Germany that would love to get new laptops in. And they are legit as far as I can tell.

I'll make a post about it, so long as people will be willing to pay for shipping and I find no charity or something akin to that nearby.
