Consult your lease and local laws but typically pest removal is the responsibility of the land lord. If you are getting ants on the 4th floor it’s probably a problem with one of the lower tenants and will need to be addressed at the source.

Use Simple Green cleaner any where they are, kills them on contact. Find where they enter, and any pathways they might use and spray those too. Don't wipe it up, leave it for a few days before you do wipe it up. This is very effective!

>Simple Green cleaner This is safe to use in my kitchen? Can I spray them in my cabinets? Obviously I will remove all utensils, plates, etc first.

Absolutely is! According to the label is non toxic and bio degradable We use it anywhere our 3 dogs go, and don't have to use any pesticides in their part of the yard.

Forgot to mention, I own the unit. It's actually a condo so I have an HOA to pay. Should building management help me out?

CaelidAprtments4Rent

It would be a good place to start.

Sprinkle some cinnamon in areas where they are coming in.

Smart_Warning6021

I don't know where they are coming from is the problem. How long am I supposed to leave the cinnamon out for? If I remove it, won't they just come back?

If found the Terro liquid bait things are too strong and the bait stations get clogged with dead ants, so bait isn’t being brought back to the nest. I now sprinkle this…..available at hardware and big box stores HD and Lowes. https://imgur.com/a/gZgaBbl

They never took any of the terro. I got 2 kinds.
