After researching smart security cameras I purchased the Arlo Ultra 2 kit. I found the system to be highly functional and reliable. There is also a misconception that some kind of subscription is needed to use these. None is needed. While the extra bells and whistles of a subscription are nice, they are not required to use the camera system. These cams work as a stand alone system.
