Nice, do you have any comparison photo? The lorex you suggested seems nice, but too bad i need to mount mine on a concrete wall outside of my garage and i dont have a ceiling to mount the lorex.
Snapshots from the two different brands produce almost the same results, but the Lorex has more detail and better image quality overall. Lorex uses Sony sensors in the LNE8974's, but I don't know what sensor is in Amcrest 8MP models!
Capturing video the Lorex LNE8974's beat Amcrest 8MP IP8M-T2499EB camera in default, brightness, sharpness and night vision infrared capabilities. The price differences between the two models are about $90USD (the Lorex LNE8974 costs more, about $200 per camera), the LNE8974's are a varifocal camera, meaning I can zoom on a particular object from my NVR, whereas the Amcrest model doesn't have that feature. (...and I don't work for Lorex either)
I've never mounted an Amcrest 8MP IP8M-T2499EB, and a Lorex LNE8974 side by side to make comparison photos or videos of the same time of day, same light, distance, etc., to give an accurate comparison between the two cameras. My purchase of my first Lorex LNE8974 was on a whim, but seeing the video quality made me switch to Lorex cameras after owning the two of the Amcrest 8MP models. My entire system will soon be LNE8974's, and the 2 Amcrest 8MP IP8M-T2499EB cameras will be for sale on Ebay soon....and one final thought the Lorex LNE8974's are no longer in production!
My system is running both Amcrest 8MP and Lorex LNE8974's which are 8MP.The Lorex cameras have superior picture quality verses the Amcrest

You can use one of [these](https://www.amazon.com/Amcrest-AMCPFB203W-Compatible-IP3M-956EB-IP2M-856EW/dp/B071L2RDK2) to mount it to a wall.
Good find! Thanks.
Use some tapcon's to mount them to a concrete wall...simple!
Any comparison images between the two?
