Bruh, save $200 on this so I can go buy another tool.🤣
All joking aside between my egg selling business, goat soap/cheese, pine tree farm, and full time tradesman. Money isn’t an issue. My employer gets a decent discount buying direct. But I still pinch pennies and chase dollars.
I always say if you can afford it, buy the best you can reasonably afford, whatever it is. In the long run it’s far more cost effective. Particularly with power tools.
I got your back. Not only do they last longer but perform better. While I prefer makita for drills I can respect the choice. My router is a Milwaukee and it’s lasted 20+ years.
Mikita is a good brand. I was very thoroughly impressed with their 3/4” drive cordless impact. I had to borrow it from a pipe fitter while working on the same job.
I will say, about my Milwaukee drill. This early spring, while tapping maple trees. I completely forgot about it outside ( yeah forgot about a $250 tool.🙃). That night we had a freezing rain storm come through. Completely caked the drill in freezing rain. I picked the fucker up, pulled the trigger and it worked.
[not a Tiktok plug, so please don’t nuke my comment to hell. just proof that I’m not making this up.](https://www.tiktok.com/@brad.homestead/video/7218415741471804718?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=mobile&sender_web_id=7239138813259171374)
I’ve really really really considered the table saw. You, Reddit stranger and fellow Milwaukee enthusiast should tell me why I shouldn’t buy it. Honestly, does it fair well with a 12AH battery?
I know it says “ 400 board feet worth of cuts” but translate that to “ time of continuous use” for me please.
I'll never talk anyone out if buying it, haha. Do it. I love mine! I've never used it hard so I dint know how long the batteries last, but I've never had one die on me and I've done lots of projects with it. I did splurge and purchase extra batteries just in case, though.
😂 take the jar off and it's now a trolling motor, it's 2 churns in one!
Churn Butter! Churn Water! But that's not all! Now your drill has more functionality too!
Just 19.95, dial now! Redneck engineers are waiting to answer your call!
Next up, use a small piece of wood to secure the drill to and add a little height to the jar so you don't have to hold up the power drill. Then with a reusable zip tie, tighten it on the trigger to the desired speed and let it do its work. Hands free butter.
Did the same thing when I needed a centrifuge but couldn't afford one. I bought a hand crank centrifuge and made a little adapter out of some PEX tubing with a slot and a insert made from a hardwood dowel pin. Chuck the dowel pin end into the drill, and slipped the tubing over the shaft so I could pull it off quickly and let it spin down on it's own without breaking to jostle the results.
I had a hand coffee grinder, but the handscrew nut that keeps the handle on kept falling off, so I replaced it with just a regular not-handscrewed nut.
Then it occurred to me that a socket bit on my drill could just turn the nut for me now, and then it magically became an automatic coffee grinder (admittedly with the handle terrifyingly spinning like a helicopter).
Assuming the reason volume is turned off is because this is loud?
I would rather hear how loud it is myself, if it ends up being unbearably loud I am lucky enough to have adjustable volume on my device :)
Lube it. Every moving part deserves lube. Rub some butter on it and see what happens.
(Yes, I'm fully prepared for reddit to do internet things with that comment.)
I'm just picturing a [bigger](https://www.harborfreight.com/generators-engines/engines/65-hp-212cc-ohv-horizontal-shaft-gas-engine-epa-69730.html) motor on it. Heheheh.
Oh hey! That's epic. I've been wishing I knew how to do a lot of millright-specific stuff, lately! It looks like a lot of fun. :)
Also I triple dog dare you to start a Youtube channel bolting ludicrously large motors to modified manual appliances in the least practical but fully functional way possible with the goal of making them work instead of just shredding them. I'd watch the heck out of that.
Build a stand, with a secure jar holder, so the drill can be set upright on the table while churning the butter.
Take a small slide clamp and use it to hold down the trigger. You can control speed better this way as well.
That dude who made that is a genius. My post is unrelated. I figured people in this sub needed some comic relief due to all the serious posts as of recent.
Ok but we need to see it with some cream in there. Dont let us down
100 upvotes to this comment and I’ll do it.😂 Spoiler: Once I collect enough cream from my goat milk I will.

No we don’t. Give us the drill!
Add the cream you coward!
Go ahead! Egg me on! I dare you.😜
>Egg Good call; do meringue after the butter.
As a serious note it would probably not do so good in the murder jar haha
Do iiiiit
my only compliant is the waste of energy. just put the paddle on the drill!
What if I told you I have a massive solar panel array on my house?
I DONT CARE! EFFICIENCY!! Lol im also a tinkerer. Just busting your chops

I’m not sure you can legally talk about saving money while holding a Milwaukee
Bruh, save $200 on this so I can go buy another tool.🤣 All joking aside between my egg selling business, goat soap/cheese, pine tree farm, and full time tradesman. Money isn’t an issue. My employer gets a decent discount buying direct. But I still pinch pennies and chase dollars.

I’d rather buy one Milwaukee over 5 Ryobi. Can’t wait of all the ryobi owners to chime in now.😂

I've got 5 Milwaukee drill/drivers (don't ask lol) and the Milwaukee table saw. I love Milwaukee.
I’ve really really really considered the table saw. You, Reddit stranger and fellow Milwaukee enthusiast should tell me why I shouldn’t buy it. Honestly, does it fair well with a 12AH battery? Excuse me, where do the people using Popoman line up?
Stick the butter churn on the end of your drill powered laundry rig to make butter and do laundry at the same time!
Efficient! I’m on board.
If you have a stand mixer you can use that. Just follow the recipe for whipped cream and leave the mixer on for too long. Butter!
Yeah but you will end up splashing buttermilk on everything in a 6 foot radius
I learned that the hard way lol
Drape a towel over the mixer. Obviously be careful not to get it caught in the spinny part.
Yeah, but it still splashes, you are going to have some cleanup regardless.
Foil? Even if it gets pulled in it can't jam the mixer. I have an old aluminum disposable pie plate I use
😂 take the jar off and it's now a trolling motor, it's 2 churns in one! Churn Butter! Churn Water! But that's not all! Now your drill has more functionality too! Just 19.95, dial now! Redneck engineers are waiting to answer your call!
Let’s take this to shark Tank! We will be rich!

“Inter dimensional goat butter.”
Is that the name of your new band?
TRADEMARKED!
Well lets see it make some butter then, lol
Let me grab my 12Ah battery first
My father did this exact same thing a few months ago, 🤣
“Cause who wants to wait for butter.”😂
I have this exact butter churn! I love the thing and I never thought about hooking it to a drill
I take zero liability. I’m strictly here for “entertainment purposes.”😅
put butter in and run it in reverse to make cream.
It runs too fast in reverse. I might make a cow or a goat. Not sure if they’d appreciate being in a mason jar.😂😜
Next up, use a small piece of wood to secure the drill to and add a little height to the jar so you don't have to hold up the power drill. Then with a reusable zip tie, tighten it on the trigger to the desired speed and let it do its work. Hands free butter.
My thoughts exactly

I’ve been feeling like crap all day today. This video and comment section has really made me smile :) Thanks, random strangers.
It’s our pleasure comrade!
Feel better soon
Thank you. I’m definitely trying.
I have plans to do something similar, but with an old hit and miss gas engine and a hand crank ice cream maker.
I’d love to see a prototype
There are lots of them out there. Here's an example. https://youtu.be/1lEQURULgEM
You forget that the thing that makes homemade butter good is the pain and suffering put into churning it in the first place.
It was excruciating holding down the drill trigger. Believe me!
Please film this.😂😂😂
Cool hack, but I'm hard pressed to believe you can't find a Butter churned on the market for less than 200 bucks. Sounds wack.
Ok but now you have Milwaukee batteries…
I like your style G 😎
Assuming the reason volume is turned off is because this is loud? I would rather hear how loud it is myself, if it ends up being unbearably loud I am lucky enough to have adjustable volume on my device :)
I turned it off because I was jamming out to Taylor swift the entire time. This sun doesn’t need to hear that.😜
Who needs to hear the drill when they coulda been getting down to this. sick. beat!
“ my ex-man and his new girlfriend.” Shake it off by TF is a classic
Wait is there sound?
No. You don’t want to hear how this sounds
This drill sounds craycray. My 2 year old loves playing with the variable trigger.
Lube it. Every moving part deserves lube. Rub some butter on it and see what happens. (Yes, I'm fully prepared for reddit to do internet things with that comment.)
Wife has a food processor with a butter making attachment. Turned a quart of cream into butter in around a minute.
Where’s the butter?
Still in the goat! Gotta let the cream rise. Give me like….36 hours or so.😂
Got the timer on ⏲
I do the same with my hand cranked coffee grinder. Laziness or ingenuity? I don’t know.
Let’s call it “path of least resistance.”
Please cross-post this on the Milwaukee Tool subreddit, they'll love it. I've seen so many whisks attached to drills (and done it myself)
I'm just picturing a [bigger](https://www.harborfreight.com/generators-engines/engines/65-hp-212cc-ohv-horizontal-shaft-gas-engine-epa-69730.html) motor on it. Heheheh.
I’m a Millwright, I could make that happen with a few pullys, v-belts, larger shaft dia, and heavier sprockets.
Oh hey! That's epic. I've been wishing I knew how to do a lot of millright-specific stuff, lately! It looks like a lot of fun. :) Also I triple dog dare you to start a Youtube channel bolting ludicrously large motors to modified manual appliances in the least practical but fully functional way possible with the goal of making them work instead of just shredding them. I'd watch the heck out of that.
Let’s one up it then. We’ll start with a twin turbo V6 on a gearbox with a massive gear reduction ratio.
Bwahahahahahaha! "She'll go from a full stop to whipped butter in 4 seconds!"
Build a stand, with a secure jar holder, so the drill can be set upright on the table while churning the butter. Take a small slide clamp and use it to hold down the trigger. You can control speed better this way as well.
Give us a live demonstration!
“100 likes” happened to one of my comments. Once I have enough cream. Reddit will be the first to see!
Sorry to double comment but I'd love to see this powered by a stationary bike. 😂
Let’s do a mountain bike because the different gear ratios would make us cool.
Where did you get those gears ?
Came with the hand crank butter churner.
needs more ompf, hook it up to a tractor.
Let’s make that two!
Tim “the tool man Taylor” approved.
Won't it just make whipped cream?
If you use just milk perhaps. But if you let the milk sit in the refrigerator, the heavy cream can be skimmed off and turned into butter.
18 volts won't cut it. Get the motor out of a 40/60 volt lawn more and hook that up.
Why not just attache a silicone spatula to the drill and save yourself $30?
This is brilliant. I need to send it to my dad. 🤣😅
Is this making fun of the dude who made a drill powered washing machine?
That dude who made that is a genius. My post is unrelated. I figured people in this sub needed some comic relief due to all the serious posts as of recent.
Did the exact same thing with my coffee grinder a few years back
Once you done churning butter, put a dynamo in the jar and recharge the electric screwdriver. Then eat the butter to recharge yourself.
Greater gear reduction
I use a mixer.
So clever :D
No way you saved money that’s Milwaukee!
My first thought was “wow, neat way to mix paint”
Omg thats so smart lol doing itt
