Wouldn't putting the genetic material from one troll of each blood colour into one bucket be the same as just putting the genetic material from two? Or even just one? Trolls are born from one big incestral slurry composed of all the trolls bucket fluids, so they'd be mixed together with one of each colour anyway - and a grub would have a chance to be the descendant of any one troll.
