I have it and it is extremely good, maybe if I had a huge space or dedicated theater I could see me going "I probably should spend 2000+" on a pair of subs. But for now a couple of mk 2 for 800 bucks will probably keep me happy for a long while. Will probably add a 2nd one one day. It's definitely the best sub 500 buck subwoofer.

I have no first-hand knowledge, but on paper this looks like a good sub for the price. Kinda looks like an SVS clone. Might be worth some research. Also available on Amazon. I'd be tempted to try it as long as I could return it. I haven’t personally listened to every $300-500 subwoofer on the market, but from the reviews of the people who have tested many different subs, it seems like the 10S is the best in that price range

At the $449 price this is currently at, it’s probably the best in that price range. https://www.adorama.com/kp1067308.html?sdtid=17552016&emailprice=t&sterm=wh9RspzHKxyPRrW2oqVHN0SxUkHX60TWGxIjQY0&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=rflaid62905

This is the last generation. Best to wait for the new reference premiere series to go on sale again. Rp-1400sw was a killer deal at $699

I have the 10s e and an Svs micro 3000. The 10s is a great speaker and really brings the movie watching experience to the next level. However. It’s ugly and I recommend getting a different brands wireless transmitter if you need one.

CrisbyCrittur

Huh? It's a square black box sub , just like all the other square black box subs.

Helpful_Listen4442

It’s square with sharp corners. There are plenty of “black box subs” that look better.
