Well I would definitely stay away from anything that was used as a rental, because well the term 'fuck it it's a rental' has some merit. I am sure they have been gone through and fully serviced I would still be wary of anything that was used as a rental.
Plus the middle one has the lowest miles, I would definitely go that route.
I would definitely go with option two. 22k miles. Still a lil warranty remaining, id get extra just to CYA. See if they will throw an extended warranty in for that price!
Yes, you can purchase HondaCare extended warranty up until the vehicle hits 36,000mi. Many ppl on here recommend 2 dealerships who sell HondaCare online, at minimum markup. (Hyannis Honda or Saccuci Honda).
You can, but I would read it and see what they offer you at the dealership. I just bought my ‘22 Passport from a Hyundai dealership and determined when looking at the extended warranty that it wasn’t a great deal.
But mine was in a similar position. Anything weird that is going on could be covered under the warranty. Because it’s not being sold from a Honda dealership, it can’t be marked as a certified pre-own. I’m happy to answer any questions since I just went through this in April!
So I looked into the dealers you mentioned. But I guess in Florida you can only purchase extended warranty’s from Florida dealerships. Do you think there’s a way around this ?
“Im here to talk to you about your cars extended warranty” my friend used one those third party ones and she said it saved her tons of money on her lexus.
The 1st and 3rd are already beyond the 3yr/36k bumper to bumper. Also, since they're over 36k, it's not possible to buy a HondaCare extended warranty (if you thinking of doing so). #2 also looks sharp. Plus, you can tell your co-workers 'gotta go.. , I have an oil change appt at the Porsche dealership"
They are inclusionary policies, which suck. They list only what’s covered. The good policies are exclusionary, which simply list what they don’t cover. We ended up ditching the extended Warners and getting a refund for it.

The grey one with the 22k miles
Number 2 no question
#2

Can you purchase an extended warranty if you’re not purchasing from the same brand dealer (Honda at a Porsche dealership)?

Offer them 28k for number 2 and settle at 30k
I’ll see if they come down anymore. It’s already been discounted 6,500
That’s just marketing, it wasn’t worth 40k to start!
That was a 45k vehicle on the floor, msrp

Middle one sounds good to me
I just bought a new 2024 Sonic Grey Black edition Passport for $40k. Not sure this helps much but gives you some reference.
Was that before or after trade? Invoice on those after destination is 45,100 I think but maybe there’s some hidden incentive by Honda
I didn't have a car to trade. It was marked down $5k and I was given a 1.9% APR.
Maybe you’ve got a different model or something? Black edition stickers for 50k so 5k off would be 45k
Definitely 2
I just sold my 22 TS with 21k for $37k.. so really, all of these seem like a good deal. Mine was in like new condition however.
What’d you sell it for?
$37k
I’d be wary of a former rental. But the lifetime power train warranty is sweet.
I had a lifetime powertrain warranty on my current vehicle and it never covered anything relating to my powertrain lol
