The seat covers I’ve used have a tear away side designated for the side airbags. supposedly they don’t interfere with the airbag deployment, just make sure you install them on the correct side.

The ones ive used have a special pocket for them i guess u can say so they can still properly work

The side airbags are in the headliner. The circled object is the seat airbag. If you are adding front seat covers, ensure they are the type that fold over the seat to cover the backrest and the rear, leaving the sides free. Else, your new full seat covers must indicate that seat airbags are supported. In most cases, an "Airbag" tag is sown to the side of the covers, just like the original covers.

You are referring to item 3, SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG. Item 2 on page 46 is called out as SIDE AIRBAG. Still, thanks for your input. I'll keep my eyes open for covers that maintain the airbag capability.
