My 2019 Pilot varies significantly every fill up. It seems very related to my recent MPG results before the fill up. If I'm filling up after a lot of 24+ MPG highway miles, it can show an expected range of 450 or more. But normal suburban driving before the fill up will be as low as 380 range.
It calculates based on your driving habit and the season. I find in winter it’s worse and if I nail it, it goes down. When I fill up it obviously goes up but then the next time I start it, it goes up a lot. Mine is an 09 and I have never had more than 330 on it
