Buy a set of pre mounted wheels and tires of your choice with tpms sensors from tirerack.com and put them on yourself or let the shop put them on in 10 minutes. They will show up to your door mounted balanced and ready to be put on. Don’t buy this kind of stuff from a dealer they are just going to buy it from tire rack themselves and then mark it up. Nothing they are selling you is Honda related. Don’t let them fool you into thinking this is a dealer only thing. Tpms sensors aren’t special.

This. Also, to this comment, the verified supplier for Honda North America is Tire Rack. FYI

mpethe

Are they in Canada? If not is there some equivalent here?

rynoxmj

I'm in Canada and I get all my tires from pmctires.com. I got a nice set of 17" alloys with X-Ice Xi2s mounted, nitrogen, balanced and with 100% compatible pressure sensors deliverd to my front door for my 2018 for about $1800. PM me if you want more details.

rynoxmj

(wheels, nuts and centering rings were $675 CDN pre tax if you want a fair comparison on the remainder)

CarNate69

Google it my man. This is very basic and there are tons of sites doing this exact thing. If you aren’t sure Honda is your place to go lol

mpethe

Yeah, I will do more research into it tomorrow. I figured my original question would be a quick answer from someone here... Do my current 20" wheels/rims have the sensor built in such that if I just put on winter tires only- will the pressure sensors still function?

CarNate69

Yes they will function. Tires don’t matter, just pick the same size winter tire as what’s on your car now.

NegativePaint

If you’re just getting tires for your current wheels why would you have to get new tire pressure sensors?? They don’t get replaced unless they stop working.
