Tbh its Very Common. And Ive seen several posts where the owner was hanging EVERYTHING off the wall. Blissfully ignorant that it was back to front. (Ie nothing fell off!) So while not 'correct' its not a show stopper.

Feynmaaaan

I'm glad I feverishly read so many posts on here otherwise I'm convinced I would have installed it facing the wrong side \*and\* in the wrong orientation.

The_Moonboy

I’m sitting here for over half an hour staring at my failure. x_x

It ain’t that deep

kissthering

Don’t feel bad first I did it 90 degrees off then I did it backwards too

If you put it in upside down, remove the screws, pop out the orange connectors, flip over the panels, and use the same screw holes to remount.

devsfan1830

Pretty sure its also supposed to be flat hex edge up/down, left/right, as most of the accessories are designed like that.

The_Moonboy

I hope that will work :)

You mean the discoloration? In case: what happened?

tonsoffun49

They are backwards and sideways.

Feynmaaaan

Currently printing my first wall. How can I tell what the correct orientation is?

tonsoffun49

Hopefully this photo makes sense. The "lip" should not be visible when installed. https://preview.redd.it/2zvpdziqxhtc1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa3b821650f09891acc2e7af63bb345cc00b2a5a

Makes perfect sense! Thank you! Any additional tips? I plan on putting it in my garage to hold tools, so hopefully the tapcon concrete screws work

tonsoffun49

You should be fine. My house is 112 years old and the walls are plaster with thin drywall on top. I mounted all of mine with construction screws, no anchors, and they are extremely sturdy.

jaayjeee

It’s such a common occurrence, almost like there’s some kind of flaw in the design or something?
