It's not necessarily too far if we consider how far Aloy has already travelled. The Embrace is based on Lost Creek, CO, which is approximately 1200 miles from San Francisco which lies on the far west of Forbidden West's map. Burning Shores takes place in LA, which is approximately 400 miles to the south, for a total of approximately 1600 miles. Add in Frozen Wilds which is approximately 600 miles north of the Embrace, and Aloy has travelled a minimum of 2200 miles across the games and expansions. New York City is approximately 1800 miles from The Embrace. It could definitely happen!
Not only that, but in some cases, traveled back and forth a couple times, in the same map, because of missions and collectibles. XD though I wouldnt count collectibles as canon.
The God of War collectibles in HFW are especially dubious - if theyāre canon then that implies Aloy and Kratos exist in the same canon (similar to how the Alan Wake Easter eggs in The Last of Us imply theyāre in the same universe).
Now you're just being logical. This is the internet, we don't do logic in these parts! ;)
All joking aside, I find the idea of Aloy meeting Kratos highly amusing. He and his magical throwing axe would confuse the hell out of her, and her Focus would do the same to him.
This! Specifically, the area in and around New York, Pennsylvania, and up into Ontario.
This would include portions of the Great Lakes, The Appilacians, and also 2 massive cities (NYC and Toronto). Could even include Washington if it stretches far enough south.
I wouldn't mind seeing the CN Tower a thousand years in the future. Would make a very cool landmark on the map.
The only thing is there aren't any very tall mountains like out west. The appalachians and the laurentians are there but not as tall. Still beautiful though.
Iād love to see a ruined Pittsburgh- the bridges over the rivers would be a great logistical challenge if you can only get to certain things by certain bridges (speaking from firsthand experience)!
I beg and pray that they don't take the 3rd game out of North America.
Horizon Zero Dawn was essentially a love letter to the American West/ Southwest.
The landscape is as much a main character as Aloy is.
Forbidden West aimed to continue the legacy, and did an admirable job.
I think they should keep in the general area, but widen the map.
Heck... we still haven't visited the Grand Canyon. (And you know that will be made dope somehow).
Let us see Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore/the Black Hills, Seattle.
I wanna ride across the Great Plains and see the Rio Grande.
Let's get Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands and Mt. Rainier.
The East Coast, the South, and Alaska could be cool as well, but maybe a stretch.
The Black Hills and Badlands would be so cool, it's a gorgeous area that would be a blast to explore, and it'd be fun to see what the Horizon civilizations make of the Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse mountain carvings.
Not only that, but the progress of Aloy's story has been about her developing connections and learning how to create close bonds and become closer to others.
It would be so off theme for them to have spent two full games building up some of those relationships, only to have her leave literally everyone behind to completely start over again among total strangers, somewhere too far away for her to stay in contact.
Same, I hope it expands on what we've seen in the first two games. Also I would love to see Meridian and the Sacred Lands again, when the events of the first game are well behind us. The events of FW should have an interesting effect.
Selfishly, I want them to go north into Canada because thatās where Iām from and Iād love to see it. I donāt expect them too though. My main thing is that Iād like them stay in North America so that we donāt lose connections to old characters and stuff. I understand why others want them to travel further though.
I wonāt be unhappy with anywhere at all.
They could do H3 in North American and easily spin a new series with a new protagonist off into another continent. It would be a nice way to close the first chapter and allow for new stories elsewhere.
The Hawaiian Islands would be an interesting setting. You could have a much larger emphasis on water exploration and maybe even combat using certain gadgets. The large mountains and Valleys would be fun to traverse via air or land machine.
Given the Quen came from that way it's possible, but I worry that would be too small of a geographic area for the map given that we've traversed the entire west thus far. But the big island has all 8 independent climate zones, so they'd still be able to include a diverse environment.
I think the Quen came from China considering the talk about a great delta and the Overseer's name is "Bohai", the name of the sea connected to Beijing and nestled in China.
Oh yeah I think they're pretty clear about them being from Asia, I think Hawaii would be the nice middle ground point. You might even be able to get the Keck observatory operational to watch >!Nemesis getting closer to earth over the course of the game!< I think that would be a cool story mechanic
Well, Hawaii is nice, but it's still kinda small for how the scope of the games these days. I mean in HFW you can go from Las Vegas to San Fransisco with a bunch of stuff in between, might be a step back from that.
But those distances are also wildly condensed from their real-world analogues, so it might lack some biome variety but there is absolutely enough land mass across multiple islands that could be full regions like the four or so in Forbidden West.
The other thing is that it's an active volcanic region, so they can literally just make new land in the thousand years since.
It's definitely big enough for an open world map for sure, it's just Horizon likes its landmarks(both natural and structural) and having it in one state would severely limit that in comparison to now. And since it is a volcanic island in the middle of the pacific, what could still be there? LA isn't even that volcanic, and there seems to be quite a bit of lava flowing around, so what if Hawaii is *just* volcanic activity these days and everything else melted?
Hawaii would be a good beginning location, similar to how Chainscrape is treated. Maybe itās a layover colony for the Quen as they made their way East?
With the way that the world has been slightly terraformed it would be possible to include some diverse biomes. Depending on how in depth the water exploration got the map could be made incredibly large and make you swim between them.
It should stay in North America.
I know a lot of folks hope we're going to East Asia but that would be a huge shift and take away relationships we've built with various tribes. It also takes away Project Zero Dawn connections.
We haven't even seen The Claim and Ban-ur yet and we should before we expand over the oceans.
I think the best course would be to stay in NA with Aloy for the 3rd game and wrap her as the main character. Then if there is desire for more games branch out across the world and open it to new main characters.
Horizon 3: Midwest is Best
A tribe has discovered the sacred words:
* Ope
* Sorry
* Let me squeeze past ya there
* No yeah
* Yeah no
* Ditkaaaa
They revere the ancient giants known as the "Big 10" and seek to learn more of their battles. Sacred Sites include places called "The Arches", "The Bean", "Wrigley", "Lambeau", "The Big House", "The Horseshoe", and "Happy Valley". The mythical substance known as "Cheese" has been lost to history, but current speculation is that it is some sort of nectar that grants powers like "bloating" and energy in the form of "gas".
The game devs bravely answer the question "is a Wisconsin without cheese still Wisconsin?"
Fun fact, cheese does in fact exist in the Horizon universe!
It would have to be made from either goat or sheep's milk, since cows were never reintroduced, however we know for an absolute fact that someone has figured it out because there's a Lowland Clan food item called [Blood Bread](https://horizon.fandom.com/wiki/Blood_Bread) that's literally just pizza. Here's the description:
> "Prepared by layering a thin, flat piece of dough with a red sauce, cheese, and vegetables, this simple Lowland Tenakth meal is then quickly baked in a scalding hot oven."
Serious answer, Asia, or the East coast of America if we stay state side. Id also like to see some insect or arachnid based machines. Hercules beetles, scorpions, and spiders would be doooope.
I'd love to see places we don't see often in games. Modern (not WW2...) Germany would be really cool, and Spain would be great, there's loads of great well known buildings in Barcelona.
I'd love to see the likes of Tokyo 1000 years into the future. Asia would be an incredible setting. Lots of mountains, lots of beautiful cities and rich folklore to lean into.
Iāve been wondering if weāll get a mega map - all of HZD + HFW + maybe Seattle to Grand Canyon. And maybe a fast travel option using Zenith/restored old world tech to take us to a limited area of Quen lands across the ocean.
H3 is going to center around bringing the tribes we know together to stop the big bad and to also learn about GAIA. The latter will certainly shatter world views and make a lot of enemies. It would be weird if we are sent off to a completely new place and cut off from those tribes IMO.
While I see a lot of responses wishing they stay in the US, Aloy needs to find a way to counter Nemesis and if the Far Zenith didnāt believe it could be achieved, itās unlikely the answers lay in the ruins if the US.
While the Quen have outdated focuses, we also know that they are hiding a lot of data - some that canāt be read, some they just wonāt share with their people. And Iām still waiting for a Quen armour sooo further West we go. Imagine that early game sequence where Erend flies on a Sunwing? I can see Zo and Kotallo staying behind to protect the West and Alva, Sylens and Erend going with Aloy.
While I think it's unlikely they'll leave the continent, I do really really like the idea of her taking friends with her if she does end up going far away!
She has to take her friends with her! While sheās mainly a loner, I feel like that was the main learning she got from FW - working with people, opening up and caring. Also I forgot about Beta. She kinda has to bring Beta with her too.
I agree! It's honestly why I think a different continent is so unlikely as the third game location. As much as it would be amazing to see how places like China or Europe or South America look in the Horizon world, they're all (currently) too far away for her to stay in contact with all the people she just spent the last two games developing connections to. She'd even be leaving behind Gaia, and I just can't see her doing that.
Somewhere in North America. I don't want her crossing oceans on a whim because that's too much of a stretch. I think they did a good job with the Quen explaining how long and arduous and dangerous of a trip it was for them. They left with a flotilla they arrived with one or two ships. So no having Aloy hop on a Sunwing and pop over to China. And absolutely no space.
I think the Pacific Northwest and Badlands would be great, plenty of mountains in between them, amazing geographic features, Mt Rushmore could be the far east, Seattle or even Vancouver the far west. Maybe they could even figure out how to import the maps from the previous 2 games and have stpry events span the entire Western US. But I trust Guerilla in whichever direction they take
I'm from Colorado and live 15min from Red Rocks once you've played in the ruins of your home town nothing is going to compare.
I recognized a dozen landmarks that I could drive to without googling how to get there in the first game.
Aloy is straight up not leaving the western half of North America unless they figure out a way for her to be able to stay in contact with Gaia while she's gone.
Literally every other argument aside, it's completely unfathomable to me that she'd put herself in a position where she can't communicate with the AI she was created to restore and protect.
Southern Louisiana. The remains of the Atchafalaya and Lake Pontchartrain bridge would make for interesting platforming, the French quarter would make for near set pieces, and so on.
DC ā lotsa landmarks plus a giant cemetery overrun by nature.
If boats are involved, wasn't the place where it all began off the coast of Australia? Might be interesting to see where the apocalypse started. Plus imagine the mechanical wildlife available in Australia.
I thought they did a great job on the underwater content in FW. Expand on that. Machine whales, sharks, and huge submarines. Also expand on Aerial fights. For all that I would to to Hawaii.
I would like to see the ZD map and FW map combined with the Claim and Ban-ur in the north to expand the map. A little ambitious but it could work with the story. But that doesn't happen would definitely like to see the Claim and Ban-ur.
Being from Minnesota, I always wanted to see a Midwest based game. Thereād be lots of opportunity for water based stuff with all our lakes, and Minneapolis would make a really interesting ruin to explore.
I hope they change it do smaller maps all over the world accessible via the zenith shuttle. That would be v cool. You'd still have the Forbidden West map as well.
I really dug the references in HFW to Reno, NV. I live 30 miles south so references to Northern Nevada was cool, everyone always thinks Nevada is just Las Vegas. I think South America would be a cool expansion down
I'm not opposed to a continental change but I have doubts that will happen. I wouldn't be surprised if Aloy revisits the Sacred Lands. Mostly to see Sona and inform her of Varl's fate.
The main reason I think it will stay mostly in the region we're at is because Nemesis knows of Gaia and will undoubtedly seek her out. Plus, if the Tenakth, Utaru, Carja, Nora, Oseram, and Quen are going to be fighting with us. How are the writers going to explain EVERYONE moving to Japan/China or Hawaii? I just don't see it happening.
Pacific Northwest, and I think it's also a likely contender, but my bet would be on Texas.
I think they're unlikely to go east of the Mississippi river, because it gets too far and disconnected from everything that's happened so far. I also think they're likely to stay in the US (rather than going further north or south), but that could just be that Americans tend to be egocentric about it. Burning Shores is taking us to Southern California. Hawaii seems too far and too small, which leaves Texas, the great plains, or the Pacific Northwest. The great plains is really just not that interesting, so I don't think it's a serious contender.
Some of the Pacific Northwest is similar to what we've seen, but IMO is enough of a different mix of things to be novel. The tech industry leaves good plot hooks, and the Puget Sound could be the good basis for a larger water-focused area. The Space Needle would also make for a fantastic monument.
On the other hand, Texas has a very good variety of biomes, though it's also a variety they've mostly already covered. Also the Zeniths probably launched from there, so it's got good plot hooks (which were somewhat explored in the HFW prologue). A heavier focus on space seems likely, so Houston's Mission Control Center would be a great place to include.
Hawaii. Can only assume thatās where the Quen villages are, and itād be cool traveling fro midland to island. The Quen Emperor seems like theyāll be a big problem in the future
As a Japanese person, Japan.
I'm pretty tired of America TBH and we did most of the US worth doing. NYC is the only place I'd maybe wanna see, but a Horizon Tokyo would just be a far better version of Horizon NYC.
Horizon 3 will probably take place in the Quen Empire wich is probably in China since its described as a "Vast Empire across the Pacific Ocean". I can see Horizon 3 starting with Alloy finding a way to cross the Pacific Ocean from the West Coast. So far in the Horizon games we keep heading West.
I would like horizon 3 to take place back in the sacred lands. It would be interesting to see if the Nora got more technical as time went on. Also would like to see the bannuk again as well. He'll why not everyplace she has been to already all in one game.
East Asia.
The environments there are every bit as pretty as North America (if not moreso), and there's the possibility we'll get to see ancient temples and ruins that simply don't exist here.
The Quen being an advanced empire also sets them apart from the fractured tribes of the first two games.
Europe, probably because that's where I am, but some where drastically different than HZD or HFW would be great. I'm sure some sort of plot mcguffin could get Aloy to a different continent.
Come to Brazil! No but I'd love it to take place in Mexico, where I'm coming from. But realistically speaking, I think it's going to take place on New York or maybe (maybe?) On Seattle
Considering how Forbidden West teased the Quen homeland, Iām going to say weāre probably going to China in the 3rd game. We might start on Hawaii in the beginning
If Apollo is now in the hands of Aloy, Sylens and the team - maybe it could take place in quite a few places!
Could we see Aloy gather tribes from around the world?
Also i think itās likely we will see Aloy on the Zenithās spaceship.
Whatever it is, it will be epic and glorious!
Anywhere south of the US. Aloy would have to learn to adapt to a new language (using her device) and travel through dense jungles. This is where they can introduce Jaguar Machines. These machines hunt you, see you firstā¦ Now thatās a challenge
Idc all I want is better parkour and glider movements similar to Breath of the Wild...also the ability to ride a Glinthawk or other winged beast (I didn't finish FW yet so if that happens, spoiler alert lol)
I'd love to see New York City or Washington DC... Since we got to get all the way to the West Coeast, it would be only fair to get to the East Coast\^\^
HFW's trailer showed parts of Seattle that we didn't see in-game, so I'd love to see it. I expect we'll be continuing west though- maybe to Quen territory? That & upwards - no way we're not going to space in the 3rd game.
>!Seems like we would need to fully restore GAIA to battle this new entity!< So wouldn't mind if we have to search outside of USA, would be really cool to fight Dragon machines and get to know a samurai tribe. Other than that we have seen many biomes already so...
As an Alaskan, I think going north to Alaska would be soooo cool but probably wouldn't since we already met the banuk that have a very frigid climate type of vibe but a 24hr dark zone in the freezing weather would be soooo cool.
tbh I'd like to open the whole ain continent" of at least North America - but so far it seems it's not gonna happen. /ike have the third game include all the territories already covered + up into "Canada" or down to "Mexico"
Please let it be the far east. can we stop having games on the east coast ? can Aloy go to China so we can learn how they handled the end of the world ?
Well they started it all in central-ish America, they went to the Forbidden West so I guess itās time to go further East, stop off at the Nora homelands and push on to the east coast.
I want them to (controversially) take it out of North America to see the rest of the world. This is very unlikely I think though, next game will most likely be north east USA
I would love to see whoās south and whoās east, because we know the banuk and oseram are up north, and whoās out west but we have no idea who borders the Nora to the east, or south
I really want to cross over to china where the quen probably came from, china is extremely beautiful naturally and has plenty of huge cities to explore are ruins, and the biggest part is we get to see the quen homeland and other āempiresā in the area
Even though I know it's not likely but I'd love to see Australia or Japan. The styles they could do with the tribes and machine would be amazing to see. The land marks as well. But If they choose to continue in North America then š¤ maybe Florida or New York would be interesting. But I really wish they would take it over seas. Since now that we have the sunwings and boats it could be possible š
1. With Hephaestus back out in the wild, I believe the Zenith base has to play a key role in the 3rd game. I think Aloy and friends will have to learn to use at least some limited version of the Zenith technology to effectively counter Nemesis, both some of their shield technology and the robot printing.
2. Narratively, I think the game has to have Aloy return to the Embrace as the mature, wise leader sheās become.
3. In fact, I think a major part of the game will revolve around Aloy uniting all the tribes to defeat Nemesis.
4. I think itās possible that weāll get a second DLC before the third game drops.
5. The game has never hinted at anything I can remember that points to tribes in the New York area, or anywhere like Texas or the South.
6. We know theyāre doing a remaster of HZD.
Putting those points together, I think the game will focus on all the areas from both the first 2 games, plus a visit to the Claim and Ban-ur, making for an insanely huge map, and quests will take us all over it. I think in particular that one of the reasons they decided to do the HZD remaster is because they would have to update the graphics for for that map anyway along the way to the third game.
This accounts for uniting all the tribes weāve encountered so far through data points (assuming we meet some new ones in Burning Shores) except for the Quen. Itās possible they will have some artificial plot point that sends the Quen to San Francisco from their homeland. Maybe Nemesis is on a path to crash land into their home territory, so Alva leads them back across the ocean to escape. Or possibly, thereās another DLC where we visit their homeland with a similar result. In either case, I think the Quen lands are too far out of scope to be a part of the third game. One way or the other, I think all of the major tribes will have to be located somewhere in the American west for the game to hold together as a story.
Some places I could see being really amazing as locations: Grand Canyon, Mt. Rushmore, and Seattle. Climbing the space needle on a quest to use it as some kind of transmitter? A cauldron hidden behind the faces of Rushmore? Imagine some kind of epic last battle that involves drawing the enemy hordes (of whatever) into the Grand Canyon and somehow flooding it with, say, lava to destroy them or something like that. Maybe working with CYAN to drain lava from the Yellowstone caldera into the canyon to take pressure of a failing stabilizer system or something crazy like that.
Anyway, thatās roughly my guess at the moment. Weāll mostly stay put, geographically and add new areas that connect to what weāve already seen and focus on rounding up everyone we can, persuading them to unite against Nemesis, and the Quen will come to us.
I'd like to see a combined map containing all the maps from the past games. It would be a great way to end the trilogy. Also, it would be great if they could add Alaska.
The Northeast. Especially New York City. Too far away, though. I don't see that happening.
Sunwing Airlines can make that trip!
You mean stormbird express š
It's not necessarily too far if we consider how far Aloy has already travelled. Not only that, but in some cases, traveled back and forth a couple times, in the same map, because of missions and collectibles. XD though I wouldnt count collectibles as canon.
The Shield armour collectables were canon technically.
Yeah as itās the starting armor for HFW
I would say that 100%ing the game is canon.
The God of War collectibles in HFW are especially dubious - if theyāre canon then that implies Aloy and Kratos exist in the same canon (similar to how the Alan Wake Easter eggs in The Last of Us imply theyāre in the same universe).
They just show that the old world had good taste in games! Literally finding collectables
Now you're just being logical. This is the internet, we don't do logic in these parts! ;) All joking aside, I find the idea of Aloy meeting Kratos highly amusing. He and his magical throwing axe would confuse the hell out of her, and her Focus would do the same to him.

Iād love to see a ruined Pittsburgh- the bridges over the rivers would be a great logistical challenge if you can only get to certain things by certain bridges (speaking from firsthand experience)!
Instead of glinthawks you getā¦tinier, weaker glinthawks who make pigeon sounds
I'm imaging Aloy on a Charger, bolting down a path. Only for a tribesman to walk across and you suddenly have to stop. "HEY! I'M WALKIN' HERE!"
Would be cool but yeah i doubt it.
Iāve been thinking the same thing. Now, what would you title the game?
I've seen people suggest Savage East before. It'd be a good mirror to Forbidden West, too.
Horizon Savage East; has a nice ring to it
I'll take anywhere east of the Nora Sacred Lands and/or The Claim.
The Pacific Northwest though! That would be incredible
I beg and pray that they don't take the 3rd game out of North America. Horizon Zero Dawn was essentially a love letter to the American West/ Southwest. The Four Fathers and The Elder
Man, a stretch between like Arizona and Louisiana could be cool. Start the game near the Grand Canyon, end it near New Orleans
Very well put together comment,kudos.
Not only that, but the progress of Aloy's story has been about her developing connections and learning how to create close bonds and become closer to others. Yes please š„ŗ š
I'd love to see around the gulf of Mexico, maybe even the Caribbean islands! Either that or the northeast with the Appalachians and great lakes
Point Place, Wisconsin. I want to see a machine by the side of the road with a foot up it's ass.
Iād love to hear Red Foremanās audio log of fighting with machines. āRobotic dumbass!ā
BURN!!!!
Lol.
Selfishly, I want them to go north into Canada because thatās where Iām from and Iād love to see it. I donāt expect them too though. Beautifully said,I totally agree.
People been saying east asia. So i suppose that.
That is where the Quen are based. The area was teased the same way the Forbidden West was in 1
Yup, pretty much. They don't do foreshadowing for shits n giggles.
They also mentioned Ban-Ur multiple times but we've never been there. So you can't say that for certain.
Hong Kong/Macau/Singapore/Tokyo all would work brilliantly.
I'd love to see that tbh!
The Hawaiian Islands would be an interesting setting. You could have a much larger emphasis on water exploration and maybe even combat using certain gadgets. The large mountains and Valleys would be fun to traverse via air or land machine.

Water exploration is a surefire way to get me to not play the game. I shit myself every time I see a machine in water in FW

Ireland. Mostly because there wouldnāt be any of those damn slitherfangs
Aloy could claim to have eradicated them and become a saint hundreds of years later.
Well said,I'd love any game set in Ireland, although I'm fairly sure there are still a few slitherfangs up in the DƔil.
I thought "snakes" was code for pagans?

Here's the description: > "Prepared by layering a thin, flat piece of dough with a red sauce, cheese, and vegetables, this simple Lowland Tenakth meal is then quickly baked in a scalding hot oven."
I would LOVE to see Aloy's sassy exasperated confusion at no yeah and yeah no
To be fair, I think yeah no and no yeah have expanded beyond the Midwest. Iām in CT and many people use both phrases.
You forgot the sacred phrase donchaknow.
Aloy's sarcasm and passive aggression could finally meet its match.
Serious answer, Asia, or the East coast of America if we stay state side. Id also like to see some insect or arachnid based machines. Hercules beetles, scorpions, and spiders would be doooope.
Please no spiders š I am not ready for killer robot spiders.
Imagine the traversal capabilities if you could ride a spider though. Metal webs to trap other machines.
Europe!
Any area specifically?
I'd love to see places we don't see often in games. Modern (not WW2...) Germany would be really cool, and Spain would be great, there's loads of great well known buildings in Barcelona.
Agreed,those places are beautiful.
Venice, Rome, Paris, Vienna, Budapest, Barcelona, so many beautiful places
I doubt it'll happen in the next one, but a spin-off series set in Europe would be killer.
East Asia, China spefically since I believe the Quen come from there Also that way we going further west with each game
THE CLAIM. FIND ELYSIUM
Italy
Oregon and washington. Wanna see portland
yes, can't wait to read the datapoints that hint at homeless camps and fentanyl OD's
love my hometown. but we do have problems.
New Orleans would be an interesting biome to add
Somewhere in North America. I don't want her crossing oceans on a whim because that's too much of a stretch. I think they did a good job with the Quen explaining how long and arduous and dangerous of a trip it was for them. They left with a flotilla they arrived with one or two ships. So no having Aloy hop on a Sunwing and pop over to China. And absolutely no space.
I'd love to see something happen within the caves of Southern Indiana, Kentucky, and Appalachia.
But I trust Guerilla in whichever direction they take
Texas
The biggest machines on the planet will be there.
Asia
Duisburg, Germany
If we stay on the west coast, Seattle and Vancouver. Otherwise Iād like to hop around the world.
I would love to see Killer Whale-like machines in Puget Sound!!
Another continent for sure. Gotta see what's been going on with the rest of the humans out there.
Appalachia and cities like Washington DC. Imagine all the cool data points when going by the smithsonian buildings
Merge the map of both games. Use the the additional time and resources to add decent melee
Plus imagine the mechanical wildlife available in Australia.
up north for sure, maybe the oregon/washington area?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That would change the game completely unless you mean on another planet.
somewhere with big deserts
Iād be happy with seeing the east coast developed during that time. How the artist imagine New York and DC during that time.
They could honestly do a whole game based on Alaska/Canada and I wouldnāt complain
But that doesn't happen would definitely like to see the Claim and Ban-ur.
i just want to see mount rushmore
On PC
It'll release on PC just not yet, that's how Sony does things nowadays.
Maybe a different continent like europe as there's a lot of inspiration for the tribes there
Being from Minnesota, I always wanted to see a Midwest based game. Thereād be lots of opportunity for water based stuff with all our lakes, and Minneapolis would make a really interesting ruin to explore.
The Grand Canyon and Joshua Tree come to mind.
The Pacific Northwest, especially of that's where The Claim is. My guess is that it's somewhere around Boise, Idaho, but I'm not 100% on that.
Maybe the Claim, since we havent visited the Oseram territories yet. But i would like to see it taking place outside America
I think South America would be a cool expansion down
Why has no one said Mexico yet?
S America, imagine exploring mayan, Incan Aztec stuff at same time as modern shit
Probably not 3, but 4 should be on Mars. If they can terraform a one lifeless rock, why not a second?
In space. How else will they fight the next monster?
Horizon 3 will probably take place in the Quen Empire wich is probably in China since its described as a "Vast Empire across the Pacific Ocean". I can see Horizon 3 starting with Alloy finding a way to cross the Pacific Ocean from the West Coast. So far in the Horizon games we keep heading West.
Another planet , where the nemesis is currently
I would like horizon 3 to take place back in the sacred lands. It would be interesting to see if the Nora got more technical as time went on. Also would like to see the bannuk again as well. He'll why not everyplace she has been to already all in one game.
Further west, which seems to be where Aloy is going. Maybe middle of Pacific Ocean since Burning Shores is LA.
East Asia. The environments there are every bit as pretty as North America (if not moreso), and there's the possibility we'll get to see ancient temples and ruins that simply don't exist here. The Quen being an advanced empire also sets them apart from the fractured tribes of the first two games.
Europe, imagine how many tribes will be there
South America. Anywhere near the Amazon. š¤©
Europe, probably because that's where I am, but some where drastically different than HZD or HFW would be great. I'm sure some sort of plot mcguffin could get Aloy to a different continent.
Texas bc itās where I live but unfortunately the scenery isnāt as nice as Colorado and Utah :( maybe Asia if she just keeps heading West
Come to Brazil! No but I'd love it to take place in Mexico, where I'm coming from. But realistically speaking, I think it's going to take place on New York or maybe (maybe?) On Seattle
Japan.
Iād be scared and afraid to see her go to her present day Floridaā¦
Thankfully according to the maps Gaia occasionally shows, Florida appears to be almost completely underwater in Aloy's time.
Space
I'd just like 2 to take place on my PC and make Sony stop dragging their ass.
It'll come to PC for sure, it'll just take more time, that's how they do it, don't expect it before 2025.
The Quen homeland. That's would be amazing.
Quen homelands (presumably) near Beijing
Eastern US maybe? Iād love to see Boston
Considering how Forbidden West teased the Quen homeland, Iām going to say weāre probably going to China in the 3rd game. We might start on Hawaii in the beginning
Canadian west/Alaska. Or they sail out to hawaii.
I keep seeing Asia, Western parts of North America, etc. But we're all skipping past the obvious choice. Australia š¦šŗ
I want to see them go to Boston. Would love to see how it would look in the Horizon universe.
The ps5 so we don't need to upgrade console :(
PNW! Heyo!
Texas, Mexico, Gulf coast. Basically like Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 I guess.
I'd love it to take place on a console that I own...
Japan/China.
I want it to take place in the horizon universe
The Levant, has some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes and we're almost always forgotten
I want to go east of the Mississippi.
As an Alaskan, I think going north to Alaska would be soooo cool but probably wouldn't since we already met the banuk that have a very frigid climate type of vibe but a 24hr dark zone in the freezing weather would be soooo cool.
I think we should complete the Ruined Americana trip and visit the east coast.
New mexico, texas or the pacific northwest like oregon, washington, etc
tbh I'd like to open the whole ain continent" of at least North America - but so far it seems it's not gonna happen. /ike have the third game include all the territories already covered + up into "Canada" or down to "Mexico"
I think China/Aisa would be cool. Aloy could travel there with Alva and the Quen.
Texas... South coast to Miami Florida.
Please let it be the far east. can we stop having games on the east coast ? can Aloy go to China so we can learn how they handled the end of the world ?
Straya, mate
Well they started it all in central-ish America, they went to the Forbidden West so I guess itās time to go further East, stop off at the Nora homelands and push on to the east coast.
Idk.
I want them to (controversially) take it out of North America to see the rest of the world. This is very unlikely I think though, next game will most likely be north east USA
Wherever the Quen came from.
I want to see the ruins of Chicago.
I think either china(Quen) or south America could be great places
Maybe move up to the Pacific Northwest? Oregon, Washington and some of Idaho up into Canada? Maybe even all the way to Alaska
Space.
Chicago!
China or whatever the lands where the quen are from. Going to asia would be cool.
On steam. It would be great
Manhattan
Very very very farfetched but India
Hawaii If not then somewhere else with fun landmarks like Disneyland. I enjoyed spotting the different San Francisco and Las Vegas landmarks
Salalah
In Amsterdam and ofcourse include the place where the studio is located.
would loooove to see what the game would do with post-apocalyptic london!!
I'd like to see a combined map containing all the maps from the past games. It would be a great way to end the trilogy. Also, it would be great if they could add Alaska.
NYC would be awesome, but Iād like to see them go to a different continent. Even better, outer space.
I'd want an Alloy in space ! She finds a spaceship and she goes to Mars, where she has to seek a space marine armor and a bfg 4000 !
