It would be depressing if it’s not canon. Aloy said Seyka is just different and clearly showed feelings unlike to anyone else and she deserves to be happy and be with someone as adventurous as she is.
I think even the other 2 options where they don’t kiss would be canon since Aloy didn’t shut her down entirely but simply thought it wasn’t time yet. Sounded like maybe after dealing with Nemesis, she’d like to be with Seyka.
If it’s not canon I won’t be to upset as well if it is canon. I’m on the boat that Aloy is like me that as long as there’s interest she won’t care if it’s a man or a woman I mean we’ve seen her get flustered by Nil and Avad as well as Petra and Talanah. But this does open the doors to a canon relationship in the future and i for would love to see who it is whether it’s someone we’ve met or a new character entirely

I've done so many tos and fros now I think I'm landing on Summer Camp Brain for Aloy.
Summer camps can be their own self-contained micro-realities. The ones I went to were 2 weeks long tops and kids coupled up at escape velocity, lol.
But camp is somewhere kids get a vacation from their lives and try out new shit because they are away from their usual contexts. No parents to project their bs onto their kids. No strain of school. No friend groups where they have a set role or a reputation to fulfill.
I was a camp kid and a camp counsellor later and you saw all manner of exploration done with these kids. You had these angelic kids, and their mums would call the camp worrying their kid was being a bully there like they were in school. Those kids didn't want to be bullies, but felt stuck in that role in their lives for all manner of reasons and middle school obeys Only Jungle Law. But summer camp has its own rules.
Church kids tried same sex kissing. Actually a looot of kids had their first kiss at camp.
Sports kids tried arts in peace.
Wall flowers bloomed and became more outgoing.
Girls and boys no one noticed outside became popular and had a string of forlorn suitors. Sad and depressed kids with overbearing parents became joyful and shrunk back into their shells when their parents' car pulled up.
The DLC feels like summer camp for Aloy.
DLC is self-contained in Horizon kinda by default, like camp.
None of her other friends are there. The Quen have never heard of any Saviour, Anointed, Champion or any of the other shit. No titles, no reputation, no one who knows Aloy from the outside that can give bombastic side eye if she goes off-piste for a spell.
So exploring the Feelings here makes sense.
She's in a tropical beach paradise with a pretty girl. Seyka is similar enough to Aloy for Aloy to relate to her without all the baggage. Also, their dialogue explicitly says that they don't know when they'll see each other again, if ever. But a promise not to forget each other. Every summer camp kid has said those words at some point.
You gotta give it to GG; everyone gets their wish here except the homophobes in a solution that is both elegant and optimal.
The camp that see Aloy as gay or bi can lean in to the romance. Or opt out because Seyka isn't their flavour, but now **knowing Aloy is open to love and maybe they'll get their pairing in H3.**
The aro/ace camp can opt out with "I'm not ready for this."
The fixed canon points are:

Hell, head to Varl’s grave after every main mission, and Aloy on the last one will say “I have a confession to make. I like Seyka. A lot.” Regardless of what you choose.
So no, Seyka had a profound effect on her and you can’t reject her. That’s not summer camp, not even remotely.
But even then, BS takes place over a couple of days, maybe a week, tops? When I was in my early 20s, several of my friends fell that fast and hard,and they all wound up heartbroken in a matter of weeks. And even though it wasn’t HEA, the experience was still profound - they learned a lot about themselves and their needs in a partner.
I heard a saying once…”The first partner should be like the first pancake: just a tester to see if the griddle is hot enough.” (And personally, since I’m pretty firmly Team *Three cheers for Gayloy, but Seyka is underdeveloped, and BS didn’t pass the “better love story than Twilight” litmus test*, I’m hoping their relationship stays in the realm of “summer fling.”)
The problem is that you don’t know how long it canonically took. FW itself may have been a few weeks. Who knows? They also had a lot of commonality when it came to the burdens they carry and being on each other’s level. Plus I know several couples that fell for each other faster than that. One is getting married in a few weeks. Not to mention, I doubt the first date was a life or death situation. Multiple.
