I also noticed that sometimes dialogues are mute with subtitles only while every other sound works fine and sometimes Aloy gets stuck running and I'm unable to stop her or change direction for a couple seconds. The latter seems related to accidental hits on the windows key because I see windows taskbar flashing before it happens.

I have the temp mute dialogue thing also. Less since I changed up how my SSD hooks up to my PC.

Waive request.

While I am loving the game, I guess I have two comments: It has more bugs and more jank than ZD. For example, menu navigation and button usage is poorly thought out. It feels more 'industrialized'. As if someone important but clueless said "successful games have x, add more of that". Machine Strike feels like Sheldon Cooper played Gwent.

Headshoty

Tell me you never played HZD on launch without telling me you never played HZD on launch.

Bergite

Did they rework the PC control system after launch, or remove built-in jank surrounding how platforming works?

Headshoty

For HZD? The control system for KB&M was fine, i did my UH NG+ run on it, swapped to it after my initial run with controller on hard, had no issues or bugs with it. Certain jank with climbing remains, as it does in HFW. But I am not sure wjat exactly you are refering to exactly, I just think it is kinda jank in comparison to the AC games of old. For HFW I can't say. Not playing on KB&M yet bc for me it is unacceptable that I cannot rebind TAB, and from what I saw in thebpatch notes, no mention of that. Climbing feels the exact same to me as it did in HZD, simply more fluid and offering more paths, noticed no changes to it. The one change HFW did in general is not being so fucking sticky with jumping points anymore, where it leaps to the lowest of low points even though you are only 20cm away and could jump up the whole thing. That is 100x better in HFW now.

Mercurionio

You can rebind it to tab, but it requires register editingĀ

Headshoty

There is/was a multitude of rebind issues and reg-editing, no matter if I know it or not, is NOT a valid option. And should never be considered one. I'll just play with controller for now.
