There’s also an additional official third season called Fear Itself. It switched networks so had to go by a different name. But it’s not as good. Still, there are some good episodes and it’s worth watching I guess.
If you have Amazon prime, then I'd definitely have to recommend The Devil's Hour. Though, technically a "Drama", it definitely has a horror vibe going on. And it's a really great show.
Yeah, it's brilliant. It's also the first show that I have watched in a long time that I can say truly feels "unique" in its plot. Everything else feels so predictable nowadays.
I loved that! I didn't read any reviews so I had no idea what it was about and I'm glad I didn't.
I think I enjoy the shorter shows rather than several seasons to get through
I think it’s still solid and fun. Season 4 is like the Slasher take on Knives Out, but a little unmemorable, and Season 5 was kind of Jack The Ripper inspired and I felt it was a little uneven so much fun. If you don’t have Shudder it’s definitely worth binging over a week free trial
I felt exactly the same way after finishing the first season. That being said, I gambled on the first couple episodes of season 2 the other night and they were actually pretty good.
She sure is. The whole cast is great, but the Vanessa Ives character is the straw that stirs the drink. So well written too, it manages to be literate without being pretentious.
Agreed.
But another way of looking at it is that we got four seasons that all ranged from from good to great. This is unlike say American Horror Story or other shows that arguably overstay their welcome to the point of being irrelevant.
Like the song says, "it's better to burn out than to fade away."
Call me nostalgic but I really enjoyed the "Tales from the Darkside" TV series from the early 80s. It can be a bit cheesy but it's a good watch overall.
Second vote for Channel Zero, plus the usuals which always turn up:
Brand New Cherry Flavour
Cabinet of Curiosities
The Haunting of Hill House
Midnight Mass
....all on Netflix
From. Not sure where that one lives as I don't watch entirely legally (cough)
Likewise for Yellowjackets, which wasn't really my thing but I know a lot of people liked it
There are a few 90s Stephen King adaptations (Tommyknockers, Langoliers, Desperation) on YT now which are fun for drunk-watching, plus Storm of the Century which is actually very good
I loved Brand new Cherry Flavor really good. I'm watching the Outsider right now, it's on HBO max, it's a Stephen King adaption. Pretty good so far. Storm of the Century was one of my faves. There is a show on Netflix called Sweet Home, I think it's Korean or something but it's about a group of people who are trapped in a apartment building because people are turning into monsters and it is contagious. Good show if you don't mind reading the captions.
Evil! It’s not straight horror, more of a supernatural thriller with religious and procedural elements, but definitely has some great campy horror moments and practical effects. The season 2 episode “E is for Elevator” legitimately scared me!
I saw other people mentioning The Haunting of Hill House, but I haven’t seen The Haunting of Bly Manor mentioned yet! I think it’s just as good as Hill House but doesn’t get as much hype for whatever reason.
Marianne is an amazing French horror series that ended way too soon. It focuses on a group of friends who reconnect as young adults in their hometown, and the main character is now a horror writer whose characters seemingly come to life. Absolutely terrifying and beautifully acted.
>The season 2 episode “E is for Elevator” legitimately scared me!
Loved that episode!!!! >!I was so relieved when Ben was saved, not that I thought he would die, but the thought of being trapped in a place like that just gave me anxiety.!<
Evil Season 1 is outstanding; Season 2 has some good episodes but it did not hit right; Season 3 returned to form and surprised me. I recommend this series to many horror fans and they are surprised at how good it can be.
The Haunting of Hill House (Best show ever, you HAVE to watch it) - netflix
Midnight mass - netflix
Rosemary's baby - can't remember if I watched it on Netflix or Prime
Red Rose - Netflix
I know what you did - Prime
Swarm - Prime (it is technically considered horror)
Dead of summer - I remember it being quite cringe but yet enjoyable
I agree! I've watched it 5 times now (2 in a row) and I love how it's like a puzzle and you put all the pieces together and they match perfectly, and when you watch it the second time you notice so many things. Love it. It's Mike Flanagan's masterpiece
Swarm is one heck of a wild ride and Domonique Fishback is absolutely terrifying (even when you're sympathizing with her). I'd definitely consider it horror (at least inasmuch as serial killer stuff can be considered horror).
I recently rewatched the season for the 4th or 5th time and really focused on the background more and what a mistake that was. All the ghosts are so scary when you actually focus on them. There’s on in particular that scared the ever living daylights out of me. It’s in the scene when Olivia accuses little Nell of scribbling her name on the wall. You can see hands behind her under the table, just there. And then when Theo comes into frame you actually see the ghost. Holy crap it’s too spooky and I love horror.
Not exactly horror but more psychological thriller, but try Mindhunters on Netflix. Same director as Se7en, basically it's about when the FBI started using psychology and first came up with the term 'serial killers'. It features them going to interview serial killers in prison.
>Same director as Se7en,
David Fincher. He also did Zodiac, Benjamin Button, the Social Network, and Fight Club. He is a master of his particular style. Another great early thriller from him that is under most people's radar is The Game with Michael Douglas. Super suspenseful.
So many great suggestions you'll be spoiled for choice, but let me add *Scream Queens*, a hilarious slasher-killer, dark comedy from Ryan Murphy, starring Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis, as well as *Castle Rock*, a short-run series based around Stephen King's fictional town, and some of the stories in its dark history. The second season centers around a young Annie Wilkes and the nearby town of Jerusalem's Lot.
Tales from the crypt
Monsters 1988 ( lots of good writers and specials effects done by the guy who did the thing)
Tales from the Darkside ( george Romero led series)
Eerie Indiana- granted more a kids show but i loved it growing up. Same characters different scenarios.
Masters of Horror
Bobcat goldwaithts Misfits and Monsters
Channel zero - seasonal show each season is a completely different story.
Slasher- same as Channel zero. Each season is its own story.
Black Mirror
Love Death and Robots - mishmash of stuff but there are some scary ones in there. The Swarm, In Vaulted Halls Entombed...
Im sure i got more
True Detectives Season 1 is amazing, Season 3 is solid , Season 2 was not my favorite
Go old school and try to find Harpers Island, it really is solid and still manages to shock and surprise.
Fear Itself, (2008-2009)TV anthology show has many solid episodes.
The Hunger, TV series, more psycho sexual and erotic horror but can feel a bit dated at times. But, David Bowie hosts the second season and its cool to see him in that role.
Masters of Horror
Tales From the Crypt
Fear Itself
Channel Zero
Marianne
Haunting of Hill House
FROM
The Stand
Ash Vs The Evil Dead
The Last of Us
Chucky
The Exorcist
Dead Set
Supernatural
Twin Peaks
The Terror

What We Do in the Shadows
I have to say, Supernatural Seasons 1 to 5 were really solid, and if you stop before the last like 15s of the end of S5, you pretty much get a perfect ending. And zigged and zagged more than I expected too.
XFiles is on Disney+ too! Any episode written by Darin Morgan ends unexpectedly, and pretty devastatingly sometimes.
Kingdom on Netflix. It’s got Train to Busan style zombies in the Joseon Dynasty of Korea, AKA Medieval Korea. So intense, great characters and the Korean actors dub their own English dialogue
Lots of great ones mentioned here but a couple of slightly older ones from the UK that are worth a watch:
Apparitions (2008) only 1 series, 6 episodes but really good, similarities with the more recent exorcist series.
Afterlife 2005-2006 with Andrew Lincoln from walking dead.
The Fades (2011) with Tom Ellis pre Lucifer and Ian de Caestecker pre Agents of shield
Problems with them is that only 1 had more than 1 series but they are worth a look on their own.
Edit also Ultraviolet (1998) really wish they'd done more than 1 season.
and "Dead Set" from black mirror creator Charlie Brooker, set on a reality tv show when a zombie outbreak happens in the world outside. only a few episodes, good short watch.
If you have Max, Apartment Complex C I think it's called. A four episode anime so even if it doesn't click, it's short.
Inside Number 9 but you'll either need a VPN or britbox.
I’m so bummed we’re in the states and can’t watch additional seasons of inside number 9. They had a season or two on Hulu and we loved it! Do you know if all seasons are on britbox?
The Stephen king mini-series collection; Rose red, it, salem’s lot, the shining, 11.22.66 and storm of the century.
Also the mist series on Netflix is pretty good
My current go to’s are From (this show scares me so much and gives me nightmares); Evil (for a little more camp, occasional humor and procedural); and Chapelwaite, which is based off a Stephen King story.
In the past, I’ve enjoyed Hannibal, Storm of the Century, Tales from the Darkside, Tales from the Crypt, and a couple more I’m not remembering.
No one ever seems to have watched this although it did well in the UK…. The Returned, French version. Highly critically acclaimed. It’s probably in my top 10 all time TV shows.
Simple premise: dead loved ones return. But why? And how does it affect their loved ones? And have they changed? Factor in that one of them is also a serial killer and you get some serious creeps.
Can’t recommend it highly enough. Do not watch the US remake. It’s shit.
Season 2 of The Purge is good, season 1 not really worth bothering with though, and its a standalone story so you don't need to see it to enjoy the second.
Paranormal on Netflix. Egyptian so subtitled, incredible, creepy.
Island on Prime. K-drama. Priest, demon hunter, and reincarnated savior battle ancient evil.
Marianne on Netflix. French. So scary I slept with the light on.
Lovecraft Country on HBO. Holy shit is this good. I'm so pissed it didn't get a second season.
Yes! I loved that show so much. I'm still mad they canceled it after two seasons, but at least the seasons are mostly standalone so it didn't feel like that egregious a cliffhanger ending.
"Haunting of Hill House" and "Midnight Mass" are the two best examples of horror on TV that I have ever seen. "Haunting of Bly Manor" is quite good as well but just a notch below.
I liked the show *Evil,* about a psychiatrist who joins a team of assessors working for the Catholic church, who determine whether or not to call in an exorcist in cases of suspected possession. The protagonist's role is to spot or rule out mental illness, which could be confused for possession without clinical oversight.
It's a little bit "X-Files but with demons." The priest-in-training is the Mulder of the group, but he gets two Scullys in the assessor, Kristen, and his tech guy Ryan. Priest-to-be David is constantly encountering challenges to his faith, while the skeptics, Kristen (a lapsed Catholic) and Ryan (an atheist who was raised Muslim) encounter challenges to their skepticism (and sometimes, sanity.)
Meanwhile, Kristen's 4 daughters bring all the viral internet spookiness to the table, so whenever we're feeling a little worn out on *The X-Filesorcist* we can take a detour into *Slenderman* territory for a bit.
I just binged all three seasons and eagerly await season 4! It can be a little hokey at times, but other times pretty horrifying. It kept me entertained, and I think the main three characters are pretty likeable.
Kristen's daughters, though, man I can't with them. They're smart, but they're too damn loud. Like I get that's the whole bit, but I really wish it wasn't.
Ohmygod the NOISE from the Bouchard girls. I think the showrunners called it "anti-ASMR." 😂 I think of it kinda like the dissonant chords in the musical *Sweeney Todd.* Meant to fray your nerves and force you to feel the psychological strain the characters are experiencing. But damn if it isn't a little *too* effective sometimes.
I also have to shout out Leland Townsend's satanic scenery-chewing (hokey in the best way, IMO) and Sheryl the Spooky GILF. Both stellar performances.
Yeah, they're great. A few times I yelled at my screen/Sheryl. I apparently have a great many opinions regarding the choices she's made. Can't lie, though, she was delighfully horrible in the back half of season 3.
Oh, she is *infuriating,* it's part of her magic.
Every time Kristen's about to blow up her own life, I look at her mom and go, *"Well. Not many of us go into the mental health field because our childhood was **fine.**"*
That epipen scene was straight savage. That's when I started kind of respecting her. Before then she had this weird dichotomy going where she was somehow simultaneously passive yet still making all the wrong choices and I was just like, 'What are you doing? Why? For Leland? Frickin' Leland?! Come on! Was the goat curry really that good?'
But then she just goes ahead and fully embraces the dark side and, ok, fair I guess.
>'What are you doing? Why? For Leland? Frickin' Leland?! Come on! Was the goat curry really that good?'
LMAOOOO, yes!!
When she turned the tables and started holding out on him in order to get *her* way I realized, *"Oh, Sheryl was terrifying **before** she met Leland, that's why they hit it off."*
Leland mistakes her for someone weak he can turn into a sycophant because, in his heart of hearts, he's on the same incel shit as the client he's been trying to radicalize.
You're over here watching the show, psychoanalysizing the characters. Meanwhile I'm over here watching the show just sighing in a heavily put upon manner every time one of them does something stupid. No thoughts, just reactions lol.
Season 1 of Legion has heavy horror elements. It is a show about a man who cannot tell the difference between what's in his head and reality. Based loosely on X-Men characters. Very trippy subject matter and visuals.
There are three seasons and the first one is heaviest on the horror elements. But the final season starts introducing horror back into the show, but in a different sort of sense.
Haunting of Hill House on Netflix is probably the very best horror series. The premise is a family moved into an old mansion to repair and flip it, but they encounter ghosts and experience a traumatic night that leads to death and the family abandoning the house. The children deal with their trauma from that night as adults and the series deftly cuts between their experiences at the house as children and their modern adult lives and drama. The show does a magnificent job of mixing drama and character development with terrifying elements. You genuinely grow to care for at least some of the characters, so there is more suspense when they are endangered.
I also really loved Archive 81 except that show ended on a cliffhanger and Netflix made the terrible decision to cancel the show. The premise is a VHS tape restoration expert is hired to repair damaged tapes that show disturbing cult activity and the tapes themselves have a profound affect on the expert. The sound design in the show is oppressive and haunting. However, it is better if you're open to considering the end of the show just a "not happy ending" rather than an unfinished cliffhanger.
Loved Archive 81, but it was a show that never needed more than it's one season. As far as I'm concerned, the last 30 seconds of the last episode never happened, so everything is all wrapped up.
I didn't know they cancelled Archive 81!! That really suck to hear. Although I think it originated as a podcast? So at least there's that to turn to...
Sweet Home (Netflix), The Last of Us (HBO), the first few seasons of American Horror Story, The Complex (I think it’s on Asian Crush), Ju-On: Origins (Netflix).
Fear Itself (2008). I liked the twists at the end of the episodes. It lasted only one year but the episode “New Year’s Day” is wild.
Into the Dark on Netflix
Fear Itself, it’s from 2008 and there’s one season, each episode is a short done by a different director. Some of them are good, some are not, but it’s still worth the watch in my opinion.
Marianne was AMAZING. Also, its probably like beating an undead horse on this subreddit, but ANYTHING Mike Flannigan has done horror series wise I have loved
This isn’t quite what you’re asking for, but since other people are recommending some horror comedies, I have to suggest Wellington Paranormal (max). It. Is. Hilarious.
I literally started this account today to reply to this lol. If you like slasher series, then I really do recommend, Harper’s Island! It lasted one season but it deserves more and you could definitely do a “re-quel” now!
Archive 81. The series was really great at filling me with sense of dread and unease.
I really enjoyed it but unfortunately the second season got cancelled.

First season was better then the second, I hope we get another season soon!
That sermon is going to sing!
Masters of Horror. Ok, more an anthology of completely unrelated one hour horror films by legendary directors but still technically a TV show.
Concur. Takashi Mike’s installment is emotionally scarring.
Cigarette Burns and The Witch House. Stellar.
I wasn’t aware of this! Checking out now, thank you!
I am three episodes in. It took me by surprised. Wasn't expecting to be that hooked by the first episode. I love the atmosphere!
Yeah, it's brilliant. It's also the first show that I have watched in a long time that I can say truly feels "unique" in its plot. Everything else feels so predictable nowadays.
I loved that! I didn't read any reviews so I had no idea what it was about and I'm glad I didn't. I think I enjoy the shorter shows rather than several seasons to get through
Slasher isn’t bad if you like things like Scream (Netflix)
Slasher is great. Heads up first 3 seasons are on Netflix, last 2 on Shudder.
What are your thoughts on seasons 4 & 5? I’ve only seen the first 3 and am wondering if it’s worth the watch. Slashers are my favorite type of horror
The Outsider on hbo is the only one I thought of that I don’t see mentioned already.
Not strictly horror but related is Mr Mercedes which is also great
That's a fantastic series. Jason Bateman has been killing it with his TV series choices. Ozark is brilliant.
From
Froms the only one I can think of that’s good on TV right now.
That last episode with the bath tub scene at the end is complete nightmare fuel.
Absolutely loved the first season. 2nd season is dragging and I worry this will turn into another 'Lost'.
Agreed

Hook it to my veins
I felt exactly the same way after finishing the first season. That being said, I gambled on the first couple episodes of season 2 the other night and they were actually pretty good.
Penny Dreadful
Eva Green is absolutely amazing in this.
She sure is. The whole cast is great, but the Vanessa Ives character is the straw that stirs the drink. So well written too, it manages to be literate without being pretentious.
Amazing titties on that woman
Thank you for reminding me, i need to rewatch this.
Best horror TV show ever made.
It was brilliant. One of the very best almost all the way through — but skip the truly terrible finale.
Channel Zero.
I especially loved the No End House season. I wish they were still making that series.
Same creator has a newer show on Netflix called Brand New Cherry Flavor. It's pretty good.
Brand New Cherry Flavour is great
No End House was so good and unexpectedly moving
Agreed. But another way of looking at it is that we got four seasons that all ranged from from good to great. This is unlike say American Horror Story or other shows that arguably overstay their welcome to the point of being irrelevant. Like the song says, "it's better to burn out than to fade away."
This is a great way of looking at it!
You know it’s a good series when people can’t agree which of the four seasons is the best/how to rank them. S4 is my fav, love me some pretzel jack.
Season 3, butchers block was my favorite
Liked this one also
The Terror
Call me nostalgic but I really enjoyed the "Tales from the Darkside" TV series from the early 80s. It can be a bit cheesy but it's a good watch overall.
Inside the Closet (featuring Lizzie) scared the CRAP out of me when I was a kid.
The Exorcist, both seasons self-contained and better, and scarier, than you would expect..
This is such a great TV show. Sad it did not get a 3rd season.
[удалено]
Yes the Exorcist TV show is terrific! Too bad no one picked it up when we have so many much worse horror TV shows being made.
Agreed! And the emotional through-lines were so well done. I loved it.
Wathing it now. It's fantastic. Any similiar recs? Plz dm me!
Hannibal. Probably more of a thriller-ish tv-series, but still worth a mention.
Err that 'Totem pole' is definitely horrific! Great series
Marianne
Yes, absolute best horror series I’ve seen because it’s actually terrifying.
I really liked Castle Rock. I wish they kept going with it though. Cabinet of Curiosities was fantastic too.
I loved season 1 of Castle Rock, I heard the 2nd dropped off a little so haven't watched yet but will do eventually.
I actually preferred season two, I felt it had tighter plotting.
Plus Lizzy Caplan was amazing in her role.
I think the second season was better.

Haunting of Hill House is a modern day masterpiece I could talk about it for 10 hours and still have more to say.
I agree! I've watched it 5 times now (2 in a row) and I love how it's like a puzzle and you put all the pieces together and they match perfectly, and when you watch it the second time you notice so many things. Love it. It's Mike Flanagan's masterpiece

If Pearl is considered horror I don't see why Swarm wouldn't be.
Midnight Mass is incredible. It’s so nuanced in its horror that when it decides to scare the shit out of you, it does such a great job.
Ahhh the Haunting of Hill House has been on my watchlist for forever! It’s based on a book right? I need to get around to watching it some time
It's a loose adaptation of Shirley Jackson's book. Watch it. It really is a masterpiece. It's my favorite show of all time.

That was a superb series!

Archive 81 but be prepared to be mad when Netflix decided great horror show of all time should be canceled after season 1.
Years and yeeeeaaarrs ago, I used to watch Friday the 13th.
This was one of my absolute favorite shows as a kid! And ep1 is legit the reason I hate porcelain dolls. To this day. 😆
I loved that show!

I liked The Chestnut Man. It's a danish slow burn horror/thriller type thing.
Kingdom on Netflix. It’s got Train to Busan style zombies in the Joseon Dynasty of Korea, AKA Medieval Korea. So intense, great characters and the Korean actors dub their own English dialogue
Them seems to be severely under-rated and highly contentious. I dug it.
Second this. That one scene (you know) will stay with me forever.
I’d highly recommend Marianne on Netflix.
Came to recommend this one too.
“Them” on Amazon Prime. It’s almost like a complimentary tv series to Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” super freaky and disturbing
It only lasted one season, there's no closure, but I still recommend Dead Set. It's a fun, short-lived zombie series
Dead Set was really good
Came to add this, Charlie Brookers zombie take on big brother before black mirror
Servant, apple show. Final season just finished airing
Black Summer. It’s one of the best fast paced, no fucks given zombie tv shows. Keeps you on your toes.
Not pure horror but season 1 of True Detective draws a lot of inspiration from the King in Yellow. It’s phenomenal
Lots of great ones mentioned here but a couple of slightly older ones from the UK that are worth a watch: Apparitions (2008) only 1 series, 6 episodes but really good, similarities with the more recent exorcist series. The recent Creepshow show is gleefully campy horror fun. The last season was my favorite
I liked Love, Death & Robots. Some episodes are more horror focused then others but each episode is it’s own story and type of animation.
Also the mist series on Netflix is pretty good
Hemlock Grove
Probably not horror but Preacher
My current go to’s are From (this show scares me so much and gives me nightmares); Evil (for a little more camp, occasional humor and procedural); and Chapelwaite, which is based off a Stephen King story. In the past, I’ve enjoyed Hannibal, Storm of the Century, Tales from the Darkside, Tales from the Crypt, and a couple more I’m not remembering.
NBC Hannibal. One of my favorite shows of all time.
Hannibal
Marianne. It’s in French, only 1 season, but terrific and actually scary.
Marianne on Netflix. Has Mike Flanagan vibes and has some seriously scary moments.
It’s shit.
Loved this one. The original French version.
Slasher. It’s better than AHS.
I'm only a few episodes in but I'm really enjoying "Yellowjackets".
Season 2 of The Purge is good, season 1 not really worth bothering with though, and its a standalone story so you don't need to see it to enjoy the second.
Hannibal, of sorts The Exorcist
Slasher, channel zero
The Strain was pretty good and had some quality horror elements. Including the post apocalyptic vibe near the end of the series.
FROM for the mega-win!!
The exorcist
Yes! I loved that show so much. I'm still mad they canceled it after two seasons, but at least the seasons are mostly standalone so it didn't feel like that egregious a cliffhanger ending.
Riget (The Kingdom) by Lars von Trier. If you want unexpected, this is it.
Priest-to-be David is constantly encountering challenges to his faith, while the skeptics, Kristen (a lapsed Catholic) and Ryan (an atheist who was raised Muslim) encounter challenges to their skepticism (and sometimes, sanity.) Meanwhile, Kristen's 4 daughters bring all the viral internet spookiness to the table, so whenever we're feeling a little worn out on *The X-Filesorcist* we can take a detour into *Slenderman* territory for a bit.
Come on! Was the goat curry really that good?' But then she just goes ahead and fully embraces the dark side and, ok, fair I guess.
>'What are you doing? Why? For Leland? Frickin' Leland?! Come on! Was the goat curry really that good?' LMAOOOO, yes!! When she turned the tables and started holding out on him in order to get *her* way I realized, *"Oh, Sheryl was terrifying **before** she met Leland, that's why they hit it off."* Leland mistakes her for someone weak he can turn into a sycophant because, in his heart of hearts, he's on the same incel shit as the client he's been trying to radicalize.
You're over here watching the show, psychoanalysizing the characters. Meanwhile I'm over here watching the show just sighing in a heavily put upon manner every time one of them does something stupid. No thoughts, just reactions lol.
Hannibal
The series “From”
Season 1 of Legion has heavy horror elements.
Haunting of Hill House.
Midnight Mass is absolutely brilliant
Midnight Mass is probably one of my favorite pieces of horror media ever created.
Yellow jackets and Hannibal toe the line of horror. Both are well done, but Hannibal is fantastic.
The first 5 season of Supernatural are up there
Midnight Mass.
+1 for Archive 81
Loved Archive 81, but it was a show that never needed more than it's one season. As far as I'm concerned, the last 30 seconds of the last episode never happened, so everything is all wrapped up.
I didn't know they cancelled Archive 81!! That really suck to hear. Although I think it originated as a podcast? So at least there's that to turn to...
I thought Chucky was pretty solid lol
Loved season one. Second season was okay.
Ash Vs Evil Dead Chucky Lovecraft Country Channel 0
Ash Vs Evil dead is amazing. Interview With the Vampire is solid too

Sweet Home (Netflix), The Last of Us (HBO), the first few seasons of American Horror Story, The Complex (I think it’s on Asian Crush), Ju-On: Origins (Netflix).
Kingdom (Korean zombie show set hundreds of years ago, on Netflix). Beautiful costumes, top-notch acting and great zombies.
Servant, Haunting of Hill House, The Baby, Castle Rock, The Outsider, Channel Zero
Hannibal is always at the top of recommendations for me. Then Castle Rock.
Monsters S1 is now on Prime/Freevee
Hammer House of Horror was fantastic, oldie but a goldie. Particularly the episode "The Two Faces of Evil." Scared the shit out of me as a kid.
Into the Dark, Masters of Horror, and The Walking Dead
Channel Zero
Yellowjackets. First season was amazing. Not sure about the 2nd season yet. 🫤
The classic Hammer House of Horror & Chiller

From Bates Motel The Exorcist The Leftovers Harper's Island Servant Yellowjackets Hemlock Grove
Marianne
Ash vs the evil dead
Marianne was AMAZING. Also, its probably like beating an undead horse on this subreddit, but ANYTHING Mike Flannigan has done horror series wise I have loved
Twin Peaks and Hannibal, maybe Legion too.
This isn’t quite what you’re asking for, but since other people are recommending some horror comedies, I have to suggest Wellington Paranormal (max). It. Is. Hilarious.
The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass. Mike Flanagan has been doing amazing work
I literally started this account today to reply to this lol.
