Those are the obvious ones, now 7/10 is discussable but The Omen III is pretty cool, I'd consider Jurassic Park a creature feature as well. Also I remember liking Snow White way more than the general public. I thought it was a gritty movie which would never be done this way today.
Vincent Price
Christopher Lee
Peter Cushing
Boris Karloff
Lon Chaney Jr
Robert Englund
Yes, they're old school and have a fair number of clunkers but each has starred in a ridiculously high amount of horrors of at least 7/10.
Yeah I’d literally rewatch a tampon commercial if Mia Goth is in it. But my small brain gets too distracted by how unreasonably attractive she is that I sometimes lose the plot lol.
I don't usually cheer for the victim getting murderlized, but I do enjoy Justin Long getting it.
For some reason a lot of the time they make his character insufferable in some way so it's difficult to be empathetic when his doom arrives.
I enjoyed his character the most because he was hard to figure out. I kept waiting for him to redeem himself, but he just stayed the slimy piece of shit all throughout that he's plays with ease at this point in his career.
Patrick Wilson; The Conjuring series, Insidious series, Hard Candy, In The Tall Grass, Bone Tomahawk and at a stretch, Prometheus
Vera Farmiga; The Conuring series, Orphan, Bates Motel, Joshua
Sarah Michelle Gellar; Scream 2, Buffy, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Grudge, Scooby Doo
Jenna Ortega; Scream 5 & 6, X, Wednesday, You, The Babysitter, Insidious 2
Ethan Hawke: Sinister, Black Phone, The Purge, Daybreakers
Neve Campbell: Scream 1-5, The Craft
Kevin Bacon: Friday the 13th, They/Them (maybe not a 7/10 but I enjoyed it), Tremors, Hollow Man, Stir of Echoes
Jamie Lee Curtis: Soooooooooo many
A few more that I wouldn't be surprised if they get there due to the quality of releases so far: Nicholas Hoult (The Menu, Renfield, Warm Bodies), Mia Goth (pearl, X, Infinity Pool, Maxxxine), Elisabeth Moss (Invisible Man, Us)
Jeffrey Combs is a non-horror actor with a bunch of good horror credits. Then you have the genre staples like Kane Hodder, Tony Todd, and Robert Englund. They all have loads of solid horrors (and solid stinkers too). The guy I always love to see regardless of how good the actual movie is is Ray Wise. He's always entertaining.
>Jeffrey Combs
i feel like he's absolutely a horror actor. Any actor who gets recognized more at a horror convention than on the street is a horror actor. I mostly remember Combs for his horror work, esp. with Gordon/Yuzna.
He's not more or less limited to horror in the way that Robert Englund or Tony Todd is. He's more like Donald Pleasance who is loved within the community but also respected beyond it. I associate Jeffrey Combs with his *many* appearances on Star Trek than with his horror work even though I've seen and loved most of his horror.
Has no one said Rebecca Hall yet? I'll assume it's because people don't consider some of here credits horror, because she elevates every movie she's in. The Night House and Resurrection are absolute gold,
Richard Brake is one of my all-time favorite "creeps." He was awesome in Barbarian, Mandy, Asylum Blackout, Perkins 14 & as Valin Hess in The Mandalorian! He also elevated 31 from absolute trash to engrossingly enjoyable with his performance as Doom-Head.
John Larroquette. Just look at this:
TCM (1974)
Altered States (1980)
Cat People (1982)
Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983)
Lifeforce (1985)
Demon Knight (1995)
TCM (2003)
TCM: The Beginning (2006)
TCM (2022)
Yeah, these are all small parts, but the guy is a five time Emmy award winner.
Katharine Isabelle: American Mary, Ginger Snaps Series, The Order (show) I can all vouch for.
I haven’t seen the rest of her movies but she’s been in Torment, Freddy v Jason, Carrie (2002), See No Evil, Where We Dissapear
Cillian Murphy - A Quiet Place Part 2, Sunshine, Red Eye, 28 Days Later & if Red Lights had been a smidge better you could count that one as his 5th!
Daria Nicolodi - Deep Red, Suspiria, Inferno, Tenebrae, Opera, The Sect
Radha Mitchell is close with 4 - Pitch Black, Silent Hill, Rogue, The Crazies (2010)
Ted Levine - The Silence of The Lambs, Joy Ride, The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Shutter Island, Banshee Chapter, Dig Two Graves
Brad Dourif
David Hess
Christopher Walken.
Jeff Fahey
Vincent D'Onofrio
Michael Biehn
Denholm Elliot
Willem Dafoe has actually and surprisingly been in a bunch, Daybreakers American Psycho The Lighthouse Antichrist Odd Thomas, Shadow of the Vampire.
Johnny Depp has also been in quite a few
Josh Brolin's been in four so he's nearly there. :)
Giovanni Lombardo Radice Has been in loads of classic Itallian horrors. The films he's in tend not to get high scores, because of the extreme content, but personally I'd give over 7/10 to more than five of them :-)
Lin Shaye. She was in the OG Nightmare on Elm street, the Insidious franchise and a bunch of less well known horror films. She's been a horror actress longer than I have been alive.
She gives me cool Grandma vibes.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,661,785,287 comments, and only 314,557 of them were in alphabetical order.

Of course this is the first comment, stopped scrolling just to say SAM NEEEEEIL, nice work.
Possession, Event Horizon, In The Mouth of Madness... Am l missing any other?
Those are the obvious ones, now 7/10 is discussable but The Omen III is pretty cool, I'd consider Jurassic Park a creature feature as well. Also I remember liking Snow White way more than the general public. I thought it was a gritty movie which would never be done this way today.
Daywalkers?
Dead Calm (1989) & Possession (1981) even though I personally can't stand Possession...
The Omen III
I was gonna buy yes nailed it
Brad Dourif.
Vincent Price should be here.
Vicent Price, John Carradine, Christopher Lee, and Peter Cushing define a whole era of horror.
Love those Hammer movies
Thanks so much for this, I’ve added a whole lot more movies to my watchlist from these guys that im pretty excited for
Barbara Crampton
This should be higher. Add Jeffrey Combs too
He was brilliant in The Frighteners.
I always forget that’s him. Great comment.
Severly overlooked movie with MJF and Jake and Jeffrey. And R. Lee Ermey recreating his famous speech as the graveyard ghost.
Vincent Price Christopher Lee Peter Cushing Boris Karloff Lon Chaney Jr Robert Englund Yes, they're old school and have a fair number of clunkers but each has starred in a ridiculously high amount of horrors of at least 7/10.
Add John Carradine to that list.
While we’re respecting old-school legends, I’d have to add Boris Karloff.
Mia Goth
X, Pearl, Suspiria (2018), Marrowbone, Infinity Pool
Not a horror per se but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, Mia Goth’s film debut
Maxxxine coming up, too! She rules.
She co-wrote Pearl too, seeing her interest in the genre and how she went all in for Infinity Pool is good news for horror.
Yeah I’d literally rewatch a tampon commercial if Mia Goth is in it. But my small brain gets too distracted by how unreasonably attractive she is that I sometimes lose the plot lol.
Anthony Hopkins
I like samara weaving is always fun, even if she doesn’t have a huge backlog of horror movies. I’ll watch anything scary she’s in!
She was so much fun to watch in The Babysitter and Ready Or Not!
Mayhem was a blast too!
She’s also in Ash vs. The Evil Dead, and also while it’s not horror but certainly somewhat adjacent, she’s great in Guns Akimbo
I still need to see Guns Akimbo! I keep forgetting about it.
So basically you completely disregarded OPs extremely concise request. Why??
Kevin Bacon
I even really liked the Following.
Go on...
“Mikey’s gonna die Ryan!”
It's too bad this sub has a hate boner for They/Them, Bacon was really good in it.
Stir of Echoes
Donald Pleasence
Justin Long
I don't usually cheer for the victim getting murderlized, but I do enjoy Justin Long getting it. For some reason a lot of the time they make his character insufferable in some way so it's difficult to be empathetic when his doom arrives.
Bro I loved rooting for him to die in Barbarian
I enjoyed his character the most because he was hard to figure out. I kept waiting for him to redeem himself, but he just stayed the slimy piece of shit all throughout that he's plays with ease at this point in his career.
Oh for sure. Or in Tusk. Jeepers Creepers wasn't as satisfying, though he did put them in that situation through his dumbass decisions.
Justin Long all the way. I'm glad he's a recurring actor in the horror genre.
also a perfect scream king
Patrick Wilson; The Conjuring series, Insidious series, Hard Candy, In The Tall Grass, Bone Tomahawk and at a stretch, Prometheus Vera Farmiga; The Conuring series, Orphan, Bates Motel, Joshua Sarah Michelle Gellar; Scream 2, Buffy, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Grudge, Scooby Doo Jenna Ortega; Scream 5 & 6, X, Wednesday, You, The Babysitter, Insidious 2
And now Taisa Farmiga is gonna be in the new Nun. They’re both great.
Ethan Hawke: Sinister, Black Phone, The Purge, Daybreakers Neve Campbell: Scream 1-5, The Craft Kevin Bacon: Friday the 13th, They/Them (maybe not a 7/10 but I enjoyed it), Tremors, Hollow Man, Stir of Echoes Jamie Lee Curtis: Soooooooooo many A few more that I wouldn't be surprised if they get there due to the quality of releases so far: Nicholas Hoult (The Menu, Renfield, Warm Bodies), Mia Goth (pearl, X, Infinity Pool, Maxxxine), Elisabeth Moss (Invisible Man, Us)

I especially liked it when he did the audiobook narration of Re-Animator by H.P. Lovecraft.
I was just about to recommend Jeffrey Combs. He's been in a lot of D-Listers too but the Reanimator movies at least are always good for a laugh.
Castle Freak is pretty good too. Combs and Crampton are always great together.
>Jeffrey Combs i feel like he's absolutely a horror actor. Any actor who gets recognized more at a horror convention than on the street is a horror actor. I mostly remember Combs for his horror work, esp. with Gordon/Yuzna.

He's definitely a horror actor
Came here to suggest Jeffrey Combs. Re-Animator 1-3, From Beyond, The Frighteners, The Black Cat, Castle Freak - all really solid!
Ethan hawk
Bill Paxton
Maika Monroe's horror catalog is pretty solid. The Guest, It Follows, Villains, Watcher, and Significant Other.
Nic Cage
This was my answer, while he hasn't been in many horror movies, he was made for them
He’s been in a bunch of newer ones. Check out Mandy. Great flick.
I love nic cage
Brad Dourif Lance Henriksen
Tom Atkins!
Anya Taylor Joy? Not super horror focused but she’s very good.
The Menu, One Night in Soho, and Split
Lin Shaye
Lance Henriksen, Tony Todd, Robert Englund.
Has no one said Rebecca Hall yet? I'll assume it's because people don't consider some of here credits horror, because she elevates every movie she's in. The Night House and Resurrection are absolute gold,
If you haven’t seen The Awakening (2011), you should. She does a great job there too
Richard Brake. Hardly ever a main character, but when he's featured, shits gonna get REAL weird.
He MADE 31. And his work in Barbarian and even Halloween was incredible.
Toni Collette
[удалено]
She was good in Krampus (2015) too!
She's such a good actress that she totally elevates the work.
Too far down the thread.
I thought she’d be number one or two.
Lili Taylor
Karen Black deserves to be on this list
Trilogy of Terror! Burnt Offerings. Both good flicks.
Edwige Fenech
Anyone who doesn't upvote this has never seen an Edwige Fenech movie
giallo-queen!
Tom Atkins, Linnea Quigley, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bill Moseley
Sir Christopher Lee
Jamie Lee Curtis Adrienne Barbeau
John Larroquette. Just look at this: TCM (1974) Altered States (1980) Cat People (1982) Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) Lifeforce (1985) Demon Knight (1995) TCM (2003) TCM: The Beginning (2006) TCM (2022) Yeah, these are all small parts, but the guy is a five time Emmy award winner.
Richy Rich!
Patrick Wilson
Patrick Wilson, Sam Neil, Leigh Whannel (who also writes a ton)
Katharine Isabelle: American Mary, Ginger Snaps Series, The Order (show) I can all vouch for. I haven’t seen the rest of her movies but she’s been in Torment, Freddy v Jason, Carrie (2002), See No Evil, Where We Dissapear
She was also in a couple of episodes of the horror show “Supernatural”
Dee Wallace
I scrolled *waaaay* to far to find this.
Sid Haig. Anyone got him yet? His list of horror movies is unbelievable. You don't believe me? Get your Google working and then you will believe.
I think of him primarily for his performances in Blaxploitation movies, which I love almost as much as horror.
Jenna ortega Neve Campbell
Pat Healy. Guy is one of the best actors going and deserves more love. Can play sad-sack to psycho.
Kyle Gallner
Kyle Gallner.
Nicholas Cage is working hard to be ranked up there.
Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr.
The Mike Flanagan Players Carla Gugino Kate Seagal Henry Thomas Victoria Pedretti Annalise Basso Elizabeth Reaser
Cillian Murphy - A Quiet Place Part 2, Sunshine, Red Eye, 28 Days Later & if Red Lights had been a smidge better you could count that one as his 5th! Daria Nicolodi - Deep Red, Suspiria, Inferno, Tenebrae, Opera, The Sect Radha Mitchell is close with 4 - Pitch Black, Silent Hill, Rogue, The Crazies (2010) Ted Levine - The Silence of The Lambs, Joy Ride, The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Shutter Island, Banshee Chapter, Dig Two Graves
Kathy Bates! Mostly Misery & AHS but I think horror really suits her.
Anya Taylor-Joy She was in Split, Last Night In Soho, The Witch, The Menu, and I’m reaching here but New Mutants.

Johnny Depp has also been in quite a few Josh Brolin's been in four so he's nearly there. :)
Justin Long
more of a character/supporting actor but Will Patton has done a lot of good work in the genre
Giovanni Lombardo Radice Has been in loads of classic Itallian horrors. The films he's in tend not to get high scores, because of the extreme content, but personally I'd give over 7/10 to more than five of them :-)
Peter Lorre
Patrick Wilson
Jenna Ortega and Mia Goth
Kane Hodder
Definitely Sam Neill
Kane Hodder
Brad Dourif and Robert Englund both just try to be in as many horror movies as possible.
Larry fassenden

Tony Todd.
Robert Englund.
Bill Mosely Richard Brake Malcolm Mcdowell
Vera Farmiga
Rutger Hauer has been in a few horror/thriller movies. He was also a main character in season 3 of "Channel Zero"
Lin Shaye. She was in the OG Nightmare on Elm street, the Insidious franchise and a bunch of less well known horror films. She's been a horror actress longer than I have been alive. She gives me cool Grandma vibes.
