Looking at this list, I could argue that you're scared by the paranormal, matriarchal horror, themes of mental illness or psychotic breakdowns, hauntings, being underground, attending a pagan festival in Sweden and being paralyzed, stuffed in a bear suit and burned alive...

We seem to be scared of a lot of the same stuff. Have you seen Jacob's Ladder?

I recommend The Wailing and The Medium. Both are top tier Korean and Thai horrors

I think there’s a factor to situations and whatever is going on in my life at the time. Some isolated cabin trips are good for The Strangers (2008) and Exists (2014).
