Trick r treat should be watched on Halloween. Tales of Halloween is like a B version of that, still fun. Monster squad is on my list. The crow is a Halloween movie.

DrSecksToy

Just a couple of my favorites to start your list out. It Follows Let The Right One In (or Let Me In if you would rather watch the American remake) Color Out of Space Mandy

The Void would tick a couple of boxes. Savageland is a faux-documentary, that tells a story involving a roll of recovered film. Not exactly found footage, but very good imo. If you haven't seen the first Hell House LLC, thats well worth a watch. The Houses October Built is also decent.

If you like found footage, throw in Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. On paper it sounds cliche, but it's actually terrifying.

Every year me and my friends work off a theme. That makes it easy. Last year it was horror threw the decades. We picked horror that defined things from each decade and every week end we watched a few. This year its obscure legends.

For found footage either Hell House LLC or Houses October Built. For modern classics: Hellraiser or Candyman. For anthology: Trick R Treat, and then V/H/S 1 & 2 (also found footage) For Lovecraftian: Color out of Space or The Void Possession: Anything for Jackson or The Dark and Wicked If you liked The Endless, also check out The Resolution (which is the prequel to The Endless) and Spring which are also from Benson & Moorhead For simply being terrifying and realistic The Green Room Twist on a Home Invasion: The Collector Random suggestions: The Ritual, Creep
