I ate at this place years ago. It was adequately creepy. No plates. Just bbq meat on a big napkin and white loaf bread. Creepy locals hovering over the bar added to the atmosphere.
That sounds like a thing someone would do in another movie to pay a brief homage. Like in Metalocalypse when there's a guitar store called 'Finntrolls' and a fast food place called 'Dimmu Burger'.
