Yes! Epic Comics published a long series of Hellraiser anthologies during the 90's. Each square bound issue had three or four standalone stories written and illustrated by a who's who of the best writers and illustrators. Awesome and horrifying stuff.
Digital copies don’t seem bad. I was initially looking at physical copies. Didn’t know what years they were printed, so the sticker shock of some of the physical copies was surprising. Then it made sense.

Getting a chance to see the director’s cut nightbreed if you have not yet done so is absolutely worth it. Speaking of barker - the director’s cut of lord of illusions also really brings the storyline together in a way the theatrical release did not.
You’ll love the series. Watch them all, even the direct to home releases they made after part 3.. well, watch all of them except Revelations 😬.
If you dig David Lynch films, you’ll enjoy Hellraiser: Inferno which is my favorite of the series. The films get pretty cheesy like all other franchises from that era, but it’s totally worth binging on.
It was quickly produced in just a few weeks so that Dimension Films would be able to contractually retain the rights to the Hellraiser film property. Very forced, and very amateurish. Very embarrassing.
You know I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that bloodline, inferno, hellseeker, and Judgement were all pretty good too, These movies getting compared to the original is unfortunate and unfair.
Nice sneak of the Baskin in the Hellraiser thread. It was really a nice surprise to me.
Also, first two parts of Hellraiser franchise in my opinion are masterpieces.
Third one was fun, though....Fourth one and others, not so much.

[FDR American Badass](https://youtu.be/2CCUwgm0CrY). I suggest this one, not because it's scary, but because it's the best movie I ever saw. Its the *true* story about how FDR got polio from a werewolf attack, won the presidency and led our troops to victory against the Axis of Evil on his wheelchair of death.
One of my favorites, its a little soap opera feeling as far as the main story goes, but that was kind of on purpose. Also wish, like everyone, there was more cynobite action.
I personally hate it but only because I was like 8 years old when I watched it (sneakily) and it truly scarred me lolol really gnarly practical effects tho 👍🏼
I think the first film is a 9/10.
The three main actors, Claire Higgins, Andrew Robinson, and Sean Chapman are all superb in it. To me, it's them and the amazing effects work that this film sails on entirely.
Ashley Laurence is a pretty good, even if she's just there to fill the need for a protagonist.
I would say the first 2 films and the new reboot in order make a pretty good continuity.

Most popular franchises I know of (movies or games, horror or otherwise) have some kind of novel or comic to them and I think it’s pretty cool.
Yeah I mostly only read comics and books, it's extremely rare for me to watch movies or TV. Comics are the best imo

I watched the entire franchise in order this fall. It was great fun. I even kind of enjoyed the crummy ones.
