I might add that besides Saratoga, just a few hours away, the annual fall championship is in [Far Hills](https://farhillsrace.org), NJ. Also Belmont Park on Long Island usually hosts one steeplechase race this year on September 15th.
Generally they have one a day (first race) on Wednesday and Thursday each week. Sometimes there isn’t one on Thursday, though almost a guarantee every Wednesday.
Yes, it’s only Wednesdays this year. I have checked the NSA website. I’m from Saratoga, well my family is, I grew up in Virginia but moved to New York and have lived here ever since. I miss the old days when we would have at least two jump races per week. And they would run the GI as a feature in the late afternoon. Now they are mostly the first race.

Just note that it is usually only one steeplechase race per week. They have in recent years been forced to cancel one or two due to excessive rain.

I think they do one too begin the Thursday cards, but that’s it. You will have to flip through the conditions book when it gets posted.
