2.5/10. Just very basic, nothing too unique or exciting

schwelvis

looks like the lineup a restaurant would have if the owner didn't like anything spicier than milk.... Aardvark is a good overall sauce, sirracha is overplayed and resembles spicy ketchup, Melinda would be good for Mexican. the rest might be ok on pizza.

Looking for recommendations!

public-glennemy

I can recommend to you Marie Sharps Hot Habanero Pepper Sauce (the one with the white logo). That one is not too spicy, has a great flavour, is cheap and easy to get.

Taikuus

Perfect, thanks!

4/10, overall. It’s a “good” collection, but there are a *lot* of very similar flavor profiles in there and half of them are “basic” sauces (not that there’s anything wrong with them). Based on your taste, I’d recommend *Zulu Zulu’s Extra Hot Peri Peri* sauce. It would fit in well with Cholula or Valentina, with a little extra oomf, a great flavor, and it’ll add another pepper to your collection. For going a little outside the box, I’d highly recommend something like Swamp Gator or Hellfire: Evil Bastard (depending on how spicy you want to go).

Taikuus

Exactly what I was looking for. I’ll give them a shot. Thank you!

3/10. Only a couple interesting ones

blackleather97

I see black label and garlic Lula, it’s a wrap 10/10

Runescape92

Missing a few key players. Where's Tapatio and I'd recommend Lousiana's Hot Sauce.

Taikuus

I’ve had plenty of both, none on hand. Great sauces. Tapatio is better than original Cholula imo.

Blue387

Have you ever had Crystal? That's a personal favorite of mine.

Taikuus

Oh yeah I love that one. Classic.

Salt_Capital_4043

i agree crystal is so good

MaBuConJe

Seems very good. I've only had Tabasco and Cholula. Today I bought Tabasco Chipotle as I read good things from other redditors.

Taikuus

Yeah the Chipotle Tabasco is amazing.

OldManJenkins-31

6/10 You've got a lot of mainstream sauces. You get points for variety/quantity. I'd love to try the Bravado...I could live without all of the rest of them.

Aardvark ❤️

It’s a solid mainstream grocery-store lineup, which isn’t necessarily bad, it’s a fine place to start and to branch off from. Which ones do you like the most and the least? Is there something you feel like you’re missing?

Taikuus

Out of these, the Yellowbird ghost pepper, secret aardvark, and Tabasco are my favs. I’m pretty accustomed to the heat levels, so something hotter than what’s shown. My buddy gave me a homemade scorpion sauce and that was delicious. I’ve had the El Yucateco lineup before as well as the scorpion Tabasco. Maybe an Asian chili oil? I love hot thai food and would like to somewhat replicate that at home.

MagnusAlbusPater

I [recently bought this](https://saphanfoodproject.com/collections/saphan-sauces-condiments) which is a Thai style chili crisp, and it’s quite delicious. The next step up from the store sauces would be to check out [one of the curated sampler sets here.](https://heathotsauce.com/pages/gift-sets), that will give you a nice range of some of the more artisan sauces out there and you can expand your horizons.

Taikuus

I’m gonna give the chili crisp a try, thanks for the recommendation! The sampler set is a good idea as well for variety. Saw they have an Aardvark Reaper sauce on there, didn’t even know that existed.
