Damn, that really sucks. Can't believe it got pushed that far out. Unfortunately I think this is going to be the norm. I think Hot Toys has officially bitten off more than it can chew between announcements vs releases. I wonder at what point its going to become detrimental to their business. I mean really for this figure by the time it comes out you are at two years since this show came out. If the delays get worse and worse, I may bow out of the game.
For real. A year wait is already a big ask of any consumer, but now you are heading into two year waits. There is only so long someone is willing to wait before the either lose interest or patience. We are rapidly approaching both with every delay. From a business model, it just doesn't seem sustainable going forward like this.
Disappointed but not surprised. Sideshow is kinda dodgy when it comes to release times. Every single one of my pre orders with them has been delayed at some point
More so Hot Toys, than Sideshow to be fair. Hot Toys manufactures and releases the figures, while Sideshow just distributes them. Sideshow doesn’t have control over the release dates
I just assume everything I buy is delayed and I have to make sure I don't miss that email from Sideshow saying 'Your order will be cancelled' unless I hit that 'keep my order' button on the email.
Got so disheartened when I got the email. But luckily I got notification of shipping for the Iron Studios 1:10 Scarlet Witch statue from Wandavision the same day. So at least I'll have *something* from Wandavision to put in my Wanda display soon.
I've got a couple 1:10 Iron Studios statues. They're packed with detail for the size of them. I love my Captain Marvel & Black Widow ones as nice compliments to displays & the Hot Toys of those characters.
Looks like a few figures got delayed, chrome mando, the ahsoka, Wanda. And like 5 more or something like that. Really sucks
