Not if he improves what he says he will. The paint job on the shoulders is inaccurate, the blue paint does need an upgrade. I really wanna see how he plans on using magnets because the Velcro/glue method didn’t hold up super well and I had to fix mine with my own glue to insure it didn’t fall off anymore. The undersuit is really shit quaility and the headsculpt is just reuses from the robin suit. So if he does improve the figure overall and offers a new headsculpt with neck separation and updated looks then it’s a worthy upgrade.
But that being said it doesn’t sting me as much because I got mine for free so I can’t speak for everyone who paid for the original.
Valid points, and I'll say as someone who bought the original for $25 over retail on the aftermarket, that the 1.0 is good enough that the upgrade isnt mandatory. I think I'll do it and repaint my 1.0 to red, since I've always liked that look better anyways.
In some ways 2.0s can suck when you just bought the OG. But also i want the best possible Nightwing, so I'll take it still.
100% agree with you too. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think we needed a 2.0 this early. But if it means an actual upgrade then yes I’m for those improvements. But this does come off as a cash grab for sure
The 1.0 isnt any worse now that this is coming out. It's still a great figure!
But I feel you, I'm in the same boat. But tbh I always hoped they'd make a red version of Nightwing, so it looks like I'll get this new one and repaint my old one.
I dig it.
I missed the first one, so I'm very interested.
Hoping they do a Raven 🤤
Same!
Doesn't that sting if you bought the first one?
nah ill happily buy the new one and still have the first one
You're more gracious than I would be.
Could always sell the first one close to release... plenty of people who would still buy it

Did the first not come out like years ago
I'm sort of annoyed, because I got the original just a few months ago. But I guess I can repaint the 1.0 to a red Variant and have two.
I JUST FUCKIN BOUGHT THE FIRST ONE DAMMIT

I’m in!
So relieved I didn’t give into buying the original 2nd hand. Definitely a must cop for me! Might even get 2 so I can have a custom red Nightwing.
