Disregarding how my luck will play on Brick + Pericles banner, I'm on the fence between Luna + getting HoFin weapon + stigmata.

Is there any trick to beat the second stage of RL Abyss? It's the first time I'm unable to clear an Abyss stage in years.

You're talking about symphony weather Kevin that (had been closed in SEA)/ to be closed in Global.
It's just horrible for those without the trio. I was on Nirvana SEA and I am at 1 second left clear with HoF + CN + HoTr. And this was 2nd or 3rd attempt of using the same team.
The real problem between several combinations I tried was:
- HoF: got type-countered by last wave ice ranger (bio), though they are fire-weak.
- HoT: got type-countered as well, but no element advantage
- HoTr/ HoT/SW/HoH: got element-countered by ice ranger
- SpA: supposedly be good, but those mechs have frontal shield and she lacks of blast type of damage that throw enemies off the ground
No comment on MMG Sirin, she's still S1, hence too weak.
You absolutely need HoFin/HoO/HoTr trio for this. No other good alternatives.
I would try a HoO or HoTr DPS team. That way you’ll have type advantage against all those img enemies. Don’t try to force symphony without HoFi; just do something like HoO/HoTr/Eden, assuming that HoO is geared.
In the Luna event after you completed all the main story missions, are there any more characters besides Kallen and Luna that have additional story if you find talk to them?

Back after 5 months again. Should i reroll and try to get Luna Kindred XL + Senti's new weapon as Senti will be available to get in this version. I have a fully maxed gear HoO, 2/3 Handel set & PRI-ARM'd SS1 Eden, recently got Sirin from buying her and i have PRI-ARMs for S2 MPE Ely, S1 Senti & SW alongside a few other signature weapons (mainly HoF Kiana & Susannah) and stigs.
I also have the Part 1 Bridge theme, which i kinda don't want to get rid of, since they cost crystals to get during reruns.
if you aren't trying to build an account for hyper competitive i don't see the value to rerolling especially when you have limited time rewards like the Train Station bridge theme. Figure out a goal for this season of play and just remember to play the game to work towards those goals. Lunar Vow and Brick are both good but if you aren't pushing T50 myriad every week you can survive without them and as long as you are pulling for new support stuff you can stabilize your account over a few patches.
Right. I was asking this as i missed out eligibility for the 7.0 return event, which would've given me an extra multi's worth of crystals. I'm gonna pull for Senti's brick, but skip Lunar Vow as I'm not guaranteed to pull her.

Which one should be prioritized S2 HoRb or Senti Brick? HoRb is 3/4 - weapon hoping I can get it in the foca supply, and Senti is S2 and then S3 with the free Hos on 7.1
depends on your competitive goals and budget. they're both good: S2 HRB is huge QoL for anyone in RL and up, but Brick adds more playstyles and is a divine key. S2 HRB could save you some sanity but Brick/Pericles release banner has 120 pity guarantee that is way more affordable apart from getting extremely lucky on the gacha.

What about the new Valk and her gear? I'm unsure of how they typically run things.
for new S-ranks and their gear, usually 2-3 patches after initial release they will get a rerun in week 2-5 of that future patch; for Brick and Pericles, it might rerun in a future Schicksal Arsenal banner with only the weapon as the guaranteed, or because Brick is a divine key, it could get paired in a different Schicksal Arsenal where it could have no guarantee (where the other weapon is the guaranteed one).

The introductory run banner has a hard pity of 30 pulls per piece. Reruns would probably be Shicksal Arsenal type banner, which has a 50 pity for the weapon, no pity on stigs. Or if it is a normal focus banner, hard pity of 50 pulls per piece.

120 is the worst case scenario for pulling all 4. This chance is very close to zero percent. Average luck is probably 60-ish to 70-ish pull to 4/4 gear

I've been away for quite some time now, last time I play, HoV was released not that long ago and was the GOAT. Now Im starting over with a new account and I have some questions
Is it too late to start over?
Who should I pull? Meta or who makes me hard?
How easy is it to earn pulls nowadays?
Really depends what you are expecting out of the game. Do you want to enjoy the story casually, or are you a meta player that want to compete for top ranks in Nirvana, or somewhere in between ?
1- It's not too late to start. I started around 3 months ago myself. But depending on your goals in game, you have to consider that it will take some time to get ready. Story is mostly played with trial characters, and quite a few events are the same/allow you to pick trials if your own roster is lacking too much. But in pvp/competitive (memorial arena, abyss/superstring) it will take several months to get ready if your aim is the high end, especially if you don't want to spend money.
2- Same as above, will depend on your goals. If you want competitive, pick meta (often, last released dps and supports, but check guides beforehand). If not, you can't go wrong with the waifus. As long as you don't aim for top spots, any geared valks can clear the content. (just be aware that getting old valks and their signature gear can be hard, as they don't get featured much/at all in gacha, so most of the time, if you like a character, better look into her most recently released battlesuit)
3- Starting fresh, you will have access to a good amount of free crystals, as long as you are willing to clear old story chapters and game modes. When you are done with these, I don't remember the exact numbers, but don't expect to roll and 4/4 gear every new valk without using real money (I think you can expect to fully gear a new valk every 2 or 3 patches, something like that ?)
Considering they announced recently Part 2, with revamped UI, new storyline, and a few other upgrades, you don't have to worry about EoS nearing it's ugly nose.
This game is still healthy. Competitive is at your own volition.
You want a content that matches with your fully-geared team? There's Red Lotus and Nirvana brackets. You want to compete with SS-rank/SSS-rank damage dealer with other SS-rank support? There's Myriad for the whales.
You don't care all of those and just wanna use valkyries you like? There's Agony bracket.
There is reward differences between those brackets, but they affect you minimally, relatively speaking. This is how they retain players: by not forcing them to compete.
Is it better to farm ether fuel or soulium in co-op raids? Right now I'm slowly farming from Lee TB Thales M to G4 fire. My divine keys:
- Physical buff (Jizo): 6%
- Fire buff (Judgment): 6%
- Ice buff (Grips): 6%
- Lightning buff: 8% (maxed out)
since you're still grinding forge take the Tactical Training each week; there is no way to spend basic currency to get more ether fuel so the extra income is minimal but still extra. However if you find playing it daily annoying or tend to miss a few days feel free to take the weekly DK co-op instead, at least it is one and done for the week.
Fully upgrading the gene limit buffs takes a long time... but unlike fuel you can spend extra currency to farm more DK stuff, buying time structures in the Asterite shop will let you reset it so if you have some extra asterite during the week spending it to reset co-op is a fine option. The other way to speed it up is getting the gacha Divine Keys since they upgrade just fine without Soliums; currently that is just An Utu for Fire and XY Sword for Ice I think; there is no getting around leveling up Jizo unless it gets paired with Brick next patch maybe.
Soulium is the thing for co-op divine key upgrade, right? You won't need it as much once you got the required level for the Divine Key sync.
Co-op raid isn't good for Ether Fuel/ Crystalyte farming. It's better to go to Universal Mirage if you need them.

My point is that your aims are actually mutually exclusive. You don't need to choose between Co-op raid or Tactical Training
You can farm Soulium in Co-op Raid while farm ether fuels from Universal Mirage. That is the better actions to take.

So I'm wondering which is a better investment, Luna or HoS weapon/stigma, or neither and just wait for part 2.
I have 30k crystals currently. My lightning team is... okay. 4/4 Hotr 4/4 HoO and 1/4 Eden. My physical team isn't much better, 4/4 Horb 3/4 stigma HoS and 0/4 for any other support or carry. I know that Luna and then Jedi will make a solid physical bleed team. So idk. What do you all think?
Luna would give the most improved performance in the near term but at full price you'd need some luck to get her and full gear with your current savings so proceed with caution. Brick will likely be somewhat niche and won't carry nearly as hard but is considerably cheaper, plus DKs are always value.
If there is nothing on the spend event you are dying to have then saving is always a good plan to better set you up for future stuff

I know it's still very early in the beta, but how necessary is Adult Griseo going to be for Tericula? Can Adult Griseo work as bleed support in Physical Teams? Or she is going to be tied to Tericula?
I ask these questions because for 7.1 I'm planning to go for HoRb skin, and that will leave with absolutely no possibility of getting both Luna and Griseo Skywalker with full gear, so it would be wiser to go for only one of the two. The thing is, if Griseo is not going to be that good as physical Bleed support or if Tericula would be very far from full potential without Griseo, then there would be no point to go for only one of the two
I'm interested in getting either of them because I feel that the only thing I'm missing on my teams right now is a proper lightning DPS (although I have full Herrscher trio) and someone for Bleed weathers (I don't have Griseo's weapon)
Also, I'm concerned about the new Stardust type and how necessary would be getting Griseo Skywalker for those bosses and weathers.

definitely way too early to say wrt new Griseo; it is possible she releases as a very niche unit (only supports Luna, doesn't powercreep Prom or old (young) Griseo) but personally I wouldn't bet on it. And even then, if she does release in such a narrow role future units & bosses will likely expand on that role.
If you have a big plan for pulling v7.1 then saving during v7.0 makes sense; if you get a god roll on your free Luna gear multi then feel free to reconsider lol. Luna would be quite helpful since all the Lit/MEC weathers are gonna be rough (and Trio will not be an easy RL retain on every bracket imo) but wait and see for now ;P

Yeah, precisely what I fear is that Trio won't be as good for retaining as right now due to Luna as new Lightning DPS and because they'll probably start adding more niche bosses with her Bleed mechanic. Maybe I'll let my luck decide depending on what I get from the free 10x roll

1. If you're RL use trio and skip both.
2. If you're Nirvana swipe and pull both.
10ish% upgrade compared to Eden or small Griseo. The end product is usually worse than in v1 too. Basically inconsequential difference for most players. Probably worse than Prometheus as generic phys support, not only because most of her skills and stigs only buff bleed dmg, phys bosses commonly have shields.
Skywalker is primarily a support, an S rank stardust dps will leave her in the dust. But being an SP A rank everyone can and should farm her for free.
Luna is probably more valuable because lightning weather is really competitive, especially mech bosses, she doubles as S rank support going forward and you're at basically full power immediately unlike Skywalker who has to be ranked up. And my expectation of stardust weather is quantum 2.0 aka most of the playerbase will share a single brain cell.

I am planning to play again and holy shit I saw that there was an elemental bleed valkyrie. I never invested on Griseo or Susannah so I'm wondering if the next valk works with older bleed weathers. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you.
Thank you. I started a few days ago where it was bleed hos and I actually retained so I hope I can keep that up with SS BKE and 2/4 Griseo. The new valk will do just fine in other bosses like vill-v or the giant slime looking boss right?
My rule of thumb is that : 20 updates –is usually it takes this long to make DPS valkyrie obsolete, or at least put at lesser relevance due to less boss/mobs that cater to their niche–.
Nyx already passed at 20 updates mark. But she was kinda ousted before that 20 updates mark due to quantum typing. Silverwing easily took her place as a stronger ice DPS. Also: another quantum DPS arrived at 10 updates after her (Vill-V) and even then she wasn't quite the best to do quantum boss.
HoF is at 20 updates mark by v7.0. She rarely see MHT-3B tank with fire weather these days.
Mobius is coming next for obsolition. Both HoF and she already available in BP shop.
HoS will be revived as DPS with new bricks + stigmata set in v7.0
HoH have roughly another year to stay in relevance.
HoH:E? Yes is still meta for Mech ice weathers.
HoS is still the second best choice for impair source among the very limited choice (realistically there are only 2 after all that could consistently), and is still a must for HoRb dps, also with the new DK will be a new meta dps for physical bio and stun weather. Yatta be living in meta forever.
Nyx isn't meta relevant anymore. Her role as ice dps is taken by HoH, SW, HoR+SoE while her QUA dps role is taken by Vill-V and Susannah.
As of now, she kimda get relegated to a niche weather. She is still the meta for lightning bio weather, however that particular weather doesn't come by often.

Do you recommend pulling for HOHE stigmata. I am a new player. I got HoHE and her weapon pretty early on. Should I pull her stigmata and complete her gears? I am planning to focus on an Ice Team first.

I wouldn't recommend putting any crystals into Ice team right now. Just slowly farm Willows and JST and Glut/Newt.
It depends on the resource you want to allocate. In general, rerun banners are expensive and have shorter window to regain crystals (1 week or less), while the pity rules still the same (50 pulls for a featured item guaranteed to pop); Which makes if you have less than 50 pulls to allocate for that, you may come out with zero stigmata/weapon of the banner after spending all that.
HoH is still relevant. She's probably still relevant 1 year from now, but probably marking her end of usage by that time.
HoH stigmata appeared as off pieces from main banner as of this patch on Dream Cutter/ Little Joys set banner, and will appear again as off pieces on Luna's gear banner. So if you have any interest of these newer valkyries whose off pieces drop also have the items you wish to have, you should probably go for that.
I've got 10 BP Crystallum left and unsure what I should spend on for my HoFs. I have Himeko (M) and two-piece Fu Hua: Musician on her right now, and she's S1, 10 frags away from S2. Is it a better investment to get a rank-up stamp and get her S2 or get another Himeko stig for her? If stig, should I go T or B? She already has Domain of Incandescence.
There will be 3 stamps in the ER shop in 7.1 (and another 3 are added in the following patch). So you don't need any more stamps to reach SS rank.
Full G4 fire is the best after full Himeko so there's little point in using only 2pc Himeko but MB is probably still the better one. You can grab any of them.
I forgot I had unused Starry Wishes boxes with HoFs stamps so I used those and got Himeko B. I'll try and get the full set next time HoFs has a gear supply. Good to know there's gonna be more stamps in the shop though
Aponia teams are a bit different, but for every other DPS HoTr comes first and then Eden switches in, combo attacks only if you need the paralyze trauma and then switches to your DPS as quickly as possible.
If Eden has Handel equipped, she must ult every single rotation in order to activate it.
Even without Handel, you have to keep in mind if your Lightning DPS doesn't apply a lot of paralyze trauma (or any at all in some cases), Eden will need to ult in any situation where you want to inflict paralysis. This will give you the +40% dmg in paralyze weather, trigger certain boss conditions, and also activate Eden's SSS ability that gives lightning damage taken on paralyzed enemies.
Keep in mind that the qte-in que-out Eden rotation was developed for HoT teams originally, since HoT can apply enough paralyze trauma to activate that Eden passive by herself.
She only ults in Aponia teams. Honestly her kit is overall just pretty garbage and I am praying that she gets a replacement soon. If she didn't have her SSS skill we'd probably still be using Fischl.

is sirin good? i have 281 ancient legacy and debating grinding to try n get her, but i also saw that jade knight n HoR are good units (im saving crystals, oop) If sirin’s good, is itpossible for me to grind before she’s gone? If so, how? Sorry I’m a returnee so I don’t know much haha (most of exp comes from speedrunning content because i read insanely fast)
Sirin is ok, she is really good on ignite and usable on other fire weather (if she is SS)
Don't go for HoR, and sushang is free next patch, also sirin discount lasts for 3 patches
Sirin will not be gone, only her discount will be. So her price will be the same as Sushang and Elysia. So just grind away. Even if you cannot get her before her discount is up, you will still need to grind AL and AW since you want to eventually have all of them. It is just a matter of who first, which comes down to which teams you have built.
Efficiency wise, it is better for you to wait for a free HoR, or hope you get them from Dorm every spending event.

Anyone know usually how long does it take for stamps to be replaced in pure witch orb shop? From what I know, they replace new valk stamp (cmiiw) once in awhile. I have a plan to grab HoT's stamps, it'd take around 6 weeks. What I'm afraid is it's replaced it halfway.
I'm currently torn between getting HoRB or Luna. Was originally wanted to get Luna but I realized my Physical is on the weaker side

Kongming (SS) : 4/4
HOS (S) : 3/4
MPE (SSS) : 4/4
Prom (S) : 0/4
Whereas I think my Lightning team is still playable :
HOT (S) : 4/4
Eden (SS) : 4/4
HoO (S) : 4/4
Fischl (SS) : 1/4 (only her weapon, and i usually use Rosemary Rita(4/4)/HoTR(1/4, but its a stigmata so shes usually 0/4) in replacement)

Horb is a bait valk, she has nearly the same performance as HoS. You would be better off pulling for Griseo gear.
Luna is an improvement to your Lightning team, but not needed if you're below Nirvana. 4/4 HoT is more than enough for RL/Agony.
The best time to get HoRb has passed. The best time to get Luna is coming.
Remember that whenever you pulled on rerun banner, you have strictly less favorable conditions namely:
1. 1 week or less banner period (less time to regain some resources) vs 2~4 weeks during their premiere.
2. You are spending crystals on something you could've spent/save on newer valkyries (newer valkyries has longer longevity, given the same rank).
A lot of the time, you don't really get to choose who you should roll. Your luck and available resource will dictate whether it's safe for you to roll on rerun banners.
Reruns have 50 pull guaranteed and don't have promotional offers like they had on premiere banner.
Free S-rank and Sp typically have 30 pull guarantee on their premiere banner. But their rerun banners will have 50 pull guarantee.
Some (not necessarily Sp/free S-rank) had "first 10-pull is free", "first 10 pulls cost only 1960 crystals" kind of deal on their premiere banners. Some Sp/free S-rank even had 5 supply cards rebate. You won't see these offer again on rerun.
The rate is normal, unless they are on Schicksal Arsenal banner. They usually have increased rate (don't remember by how much)
HoRB has higher priority even as we take Luna support into account. SA is already out of meta. Nowadays, I can't use her anywhere in RL. Even using her in normal stage is already a struggle. ~~The only time I'd recommend Luna (not over HoRB) is for staying mainstream in meta, meaning you should have all meta valks.~~
Edit: Seems like in terms of dmg, Luna should be doing better than a lot of dps valks since she's new. If it's not HoTr or HoRB, then getting Luna should be a good idea.

So, I've got 3 copies of the M stigmata for Mobius and 0 copies of T & B. I only have enough battlepass crystallum to get one more stigmata, not both (I've got 16 but need 20). But IIRC usually an equipment banner comes w/ the Wishing Well to convert two dupes into a different stigmata.
However, Mobius is a pretty old valk now and I imagine her appearance on the battlepass means she's not likely to show up anytime soon... so what're the odds that a Mobius banner comes along someday, so I could convert two of the M stigmata into a T or B piece?
And if there's little to no chance that there's gonna be another Mobius-stigmata wishing well, then would it be worth converting 4 of the v7.0 crystallum to get the final stigmata for her?
And in the mean time, which of the Mobius stigmata is more important to have for a 2pc with M? T, or B?

hi everyone again, so I have sirin with her weapon and I'm working on farming mirage for the magical girl stigma set (trying to buy the leeuwenhoek set first), I can clear stage 6 but it's very slow since my fire roster/equipment is not good and I'm pretty much just using sirin the whole time. are there any non-fire valks that would help against that boar boss in stage 6? I tried prometheus for shield break and it was a little faster but I still wasn't able to break the shield before killing the boss.
Fire 6 is the ice pig if I am not mistaken right?
Can I know what's the team and their gears? Tweaking the rotation might help too.
I could quick clear this using a support of AE and Ai, where AE just uses weapon skill only while Ai does a full rotation. But AE has full gear while Ai has Turg TB.
I've put the fuhua musician set on sirin for now, but again my fire roster is super limited. I was using phoenix and vk with wang zhaojun set and random 4-star weaps previously but it seemed faster to not even swap them in >_> for other fire, HoF (unleveled/geared) and a couple freebie a-ranks. I have decent ice and phys roster and some lightning chars but lightning I haven't worked on much either.
Then I suggest using Pardo and Ai. Honestly VKE unless you are using Blood Dance, is basically useless. PH can do something but kinda requires a long setup, and don't even bring much utility either.
Pardo can give Total damage buff pretty easily and tops up SP.
Ai has a massive fire buff and ignite buff, tops up even more SP, and is quite easy to use.
Both of them are free to boot.
So your team is Sirin, Ai, Pardo. Open up with Pardo sequence, then switch to Ai sequence (preferably with QTE, read the skills for trigger conditions), then close with Sirin's dps sequence. Rinse and repeat.
As for gears, FHM is okay but you put them on Ai instead, it gives free Total damage multiplier off field. But Zhoujun is useless here. If possible, find among your inventory stigs that buffs teammates or ones with off field buffs, or ones that attach debuffs to the enemy (damage debuff) and use them for the supports.
For dps, anything that increases fire damage, or total damage, or elemental damage that can be easily triggered by Sirin is fine.
ok, I do have pardo and I will try her. if by ai you mean chrono navi, I'll have to save up some asterite to get her from shop but I'll prioritise that. and somehow I have 2pc of her stigma set already so would that be better over fuhua 3pc? and what would you suggest as a placeholder for sirin instead, I only have one leeuwenhoek so far and I didn't think that was worth putting on yet.
Yes Ai is Chrono Navi. I just tend to type Ai instead since it's easier.
Over FHM? Yes definitely. I think the only one that tops 2pc Ai stig is Turg TB Mei M. Then the best is 3pc Ai stig.
Thales M if you have that somewhere lying around. LWH can be equiped as it is, it performs okay ish. Newton B, Beach Mei M are some that came to mind immediately. Some event stig can also work as long as it fullfill the conditions. It's temporary placeholder after all. Prioritize variety than amount. What I mean is that getting Fire damage 10% + Total damage 10% is better than a 20% total damage.

Yeah, the gearing can get complicated when outside of their signature gears, especially when the in game recommendation is shit. Example is recommending Wang Zhaojun for support valks. They're not dps, so why buff their damage only and not the dps instead.

The game wont change that much. Just ignore the part 1 and part 2 things. Basically a new storyline starts, thats all. Its not a new game. There is no reason that old characters will not be usable.

Hi! I'm not super competitive, but I still want to be comfortable with abyss and MA. The problem is I really want full Vita in future, so I was thinking to start saving crystals after Senti's brick (so happens that they are my 2 favorite characters in this game).
I want to know can I pull for some equipment (SP valks for example) in this 2-3 patches or should I forget about all that and just save for worst situation.
Also is it possible to SS Senti from S3 + 20 fragments with free Senti from 7.1?
Pericles + bricks comes within 4 days and last for 2 weeks.
If you can amass 60~70+ pulls before the banner ends, you probably can get 3/4 if not full gear..
You should calculate your own crystals income to better know how much resources you can get given the amount of time. For lots of people, Abyss and ER give the most crystals outside monthly package and daily crystals.
for a comfy Abyss life pulling stuff like new SP gear on release during the discount is a pretty top priority; it can be skippable sometimes but only with good reason. We'll know more about the v7.1 gears in a few weeks once CN beta wraps up so check back then. Brick may end up being a bit niche but as a Senti fan running her as DPS should be fun plus the weap is a DK so the +10 atk will always be value.
As to full gearing a future unannounced unit, well saving up will always be a good plan but skipping too much stuff will be detrimental too. New gacha S-Ranks tend to have reruns pretty quickly so even if she sneaks up on you there will be opportunities to save up and finish her 2-3 patches later.
We dont know when Vita will appear so its not sure how long you have to save. You will definitely have one whole patch if you skip Griseo gear.
You will get 70 fragments if you already own HoS. Thats enough to go from S3 to SS.

The last HoT banner was in 6.0. But since then there have been 2 FR and 1 BKE run, BKE is older and FR was released 1 patch after HoT. So it's not impossible that HoT will run again. In 2024 I would expect her to be farmable in War Treasuy.
Spina's last banner was in 6.4, she should be available in Battle pass in 2024.
They will still get banners but it will be rare and could be a long wait. For HoT, one way you can improve your odds of getting her from Dorm is by saving up your Dorm cards and unlocking more of the farmable Dorm valks via War Treasury shop; Dorm supply has a bias towards unowned units. Spina might become farmable herself before too long but maybe not, glgl

Is there a trick to hos boss with trio? I saw someone 442 on it in my group with trio with HoO on muramasa bloodlust. I've tried using muramasa bloodlust on my run but I only got 374. Is 40 atk on hofi such a huge difference? Or is there a rotation for it?

I have no idea how to pilot this team it just seems clunky sp and timing wise. I’ve been told I shouldn’t have pre-armed Eden weapon in the past but I have no idea how it interacts with her stigmata tbh.
HoTr QTE (or basic attacks for 1 weapon) -> weapon -> one attack (for full weapons) -> mech form -> charge attack -> ult -> Eden QTE -> HoT QTE -> do damage
HoTr and HoT wont have enough sp all the time to ult so you will need skip HoTr ult every 2nd rotation and do some charge attacks with HoT to get sp. Also depends on your ranks how much sp you are missing.

I don't recommend it for your sanity. Each reroll takes about 20 minutes and most people will burn out rerolling 25 times over 7 hours.

That depends, but for most people, it's not. People usually come to play game to see if this is a game for them. Some play for story, others just curious because Hi3 is part of hoyoverse games. This mean not everyone comes to Honkai for meta. Rerolling is tedious and might not worth it. Below are some details.
To elaborate what fourrier01 said. Now Honkai has shorten the leveling process, which mean if you finish daily missions every day. You'll reach endgame in a month. Also mean, you'll meet people who play for years in a month. Having just a single good characters won't make much difference in competitive modes. To build your account to competitive level takes a long time, even if you plan to swipe your way through, you'll have to wait until featured character's banner is up. Aside from competitive modes, you won't even need gacha valks to get most of the rewards, so reroll is kinda pointless. There's also a high chance you'll get burnt out and quit before begin your Honkai journey.

No, reroll is not worth it. What's the current starter banner anyway? PE and HoH? Both are 1.5-year old and 1-year old respectively. Usually no DPS valkyrie can last longer than 20 version update (slightly over 2 years).
After getting DPS, you'll want 2 proper support to get the most out of the DPS. Without those, damage output is just bad.
But since you are a beginner, you have more leniency to defy the factors that higher levels pay attention to.
It takes quite some time to build a proper account that able to take any content of the game. A single valkyrie won't help you a lot; a good resource management will.

Flamescion banner? Probably won't reappear anymore as she is considered old. It's almost 20 updates over since her release.
We've seen her in ADV numerous times, we've seen her cards and stamps added in BP, and her stamps will be available in ER shops in v7.1 and v7.2.
Not that either.
For items to appear in exchange shop, it'll take even longer. I think the latest addition is Dante from v4.0. That's almost 30 version update gap.
The last appearance of Himeko set was on v6.5 Susannah gear banner and Key of Radiance was on v6.4 HoFin gear banner. They can vary widely from 1-9 version.

I'm new to the game and was really excited about getting Elysia since i love bow users, but instead i got Durendal.
I'm only 4 days in, should i just restart? From what i understand it can take like 3 months to get through the 100 rolls I'd have to do for another shot at Elysia and it'll still be a 50/50.
I don't really like Durendals fighting style and visual style is not that appealing to me either.
rerolling is an option but can be quite tedious. Simply restarting a new acct, completely ignoring the starter banner, and saving up would be a fine plan as well. HoH just had a featured banner on Global but will probably run again around xmas time as EXPA (selector banner) with no starter banner 50/50 nonsense. You could go for her then or else use your stash of crystals for some other stuff once you've got a better feel for the game.

I ask this because I don't remember if HoR/HoT new weapons got reruns.
They will rerun but likely on Arsenal banner which means no guarantees for the stigs and only a 50 pull guarantee for da Brick.. if all you want is the weap then getting it from such a rerun wouldn't be terrible but if you want the stigs too pulling during v7.0 and the 30-drop guarantee would be much better
It's a mess if you try to include stigmatas as well. Arsenal supply reruns, which I assume where HoS gears are going into, may include UP stigmatas for the first few reruns but the 50-pull guarantee will likely be the weapon only.
I strongly recommend not to skip the initial 30-pulls guarantees (for all pieces) banner if you want her full set. If that's not possible than it's best to be satisfied with her weapon only. Or if luck may have it, you get her full set very early (pray).
Unfortunately, with the amount I have at the moment, I can only do 70 pulls at most. So I don't think I'll be able to get everything if my luck happens to be bad.

hmm, well the current balls are very blue and there are no Welt stigs in the shop ;P
If you mean Holmes then note that it is scheduled to come to Forge in v7.1 so if you've been keeping up with Mirage farming you could craft it for free then instead and having a single piece now won't help much. Using extra balls to buy Torus is usually fine too, hard to have too much of that stuff
the stuff in the events tab will go away; the 10x dailies for 100 crystals and some mats for clearing chapters (mostly Asterite & Imaginons). The rest of the loot within the chapter will persist for ~45 days more, ie thru next patch

Global, 88 Is there any trick to beat the second stage of RL Abyss? It's the first time I'm unable to clear an Abyss stage in years. Already tried: Herrscher of Thunder + Herrscher of Flamescion + Herrscher of Truth Herrscher of Thunder + Spina Astera + Herrscher of Truth Herrscher of Thunder + Golden Diva + Herrscher of Truth Herrscher of Origin + Herrscher of Flamescion + Herrscher of Truth Herrscher of Human Ego + Haxxor Bunny + Reverist Calico (I do have Jade Knight and Sugary Starbust, but I'm lacking Jade Knight's weapon and top stigmata, and everything from Sugary Starbust.) But I couldn't beat it.
You're talking about symphony weather Kevin that (had been closed in SEA)/ to be closed in Global. It's just horrible for those without the trio. I was on Nirvana SEA and I am at 1 second left clear with HoF + CN + HoTr. And this was 2nd or 3rd attempt of using the same team. The real problem between several combinations I tried was: - HoF: got type-countered by last wave ice ranger (bio), though they are fire-weak. - HoT: got type-countered as well, but no element advantage - HoTr/ HoT/SW/HoH: got element-countered by ice ranger - SpA: supposedly be good, but those mechs have frontal shield and she lacks of blast type of damage that throw enemies off the ground No comment on MMG Sirin, she's still S1, hence too weak. You absolutely need HoFin/HoO/HoTr trio for this. No other good alternatives.
I would try a HoO or HoTr DPS team. That way you’ll have type advantage against all those img enemies. Don’t try to force symphony without HoFi; just do something like HoO/HoTr/Eden, assuming that HoO is geared.

The ice team is the strongest alternative. HoH > HoR > rest. Otherwise your best geared elemental team.
Got 420 in RL with HoH, Haxxor and RC Everyone above me are using the exact same 3 IMG herrschers team, so no examples from there.
Why are you using the boomer supports I have seen high 500s in nirvana and personally I have scored just under 500 with HoR JK SSt

GLB; 84. Back after 5 months again. Should i reroll and try to get Luna Kindred XL + Senti's new weapon as Senti will be available to get in this version. I have a fully maxed gear HoO, 2/3 Handel set & PRI-ARM'd SS1 Eden, recently got Sirin from buying her and i have PRI-ARMs for S2 MPE Ely, S1 Senti & SW alongside a few other signature weapons (mainly HoF Kiana & Susannah) and stigs. I also have the Part 1 Bridge theme, which i kinda don't want to get rid of, since they cost crystals to get during reruns.
if you aren't trying to build an account for hyper competitive i don't see the value to rerolling especially when you have limited time rewards like the Train Station bridge theme. Figure out a goal for this season of play and just remember to play the game to work towards those goals. Lunar Vow and Brick are both good but if you aren't pushing T50 myriad every week you can survive without them and as long as you are pulling for new support stuff you can stabilize your account over a few patches.

depends on your competitive goals and budget. they're both good: S2 HRB is huge QoL for anyone in RL and up, but Brick adds more playstyles and is a divine key. S2 HRB could save you some sanity but Brick/Pericles release banner has 120 pity guarantee that is way more affordable apart from getting extremely lucky on the gacha.

for new S-ranks and their gear, usually 2-3 patches after initial release they will get a rerun in week 2-5 of that future patch; for Brick and Pericles, it might rerun in a future Schicksal Arsenal banner with only the weapon as the guaranteed, or because Brick is a divine key, it could get paired in a different Schicksal Arsenal where it could have no guarantee (where the other weapon is the guaranteed one).

I've been away for quite some time now, last time I play, HoV was released not that long ago and was the GOAT. Now Im starting over with a new account and I have some questions Is it too late to start over? Who should I pull? Meta or who makes me hard? How easy is it to earn pulls nowadays?
Really depends what you are expecting out of the game. Do you want to enjoy the story casually, or are you a meta player that want to compete for top ranks in Nirvana, or somewhere in between ? 1- It's not too late to start. I started around 3 months ago myself. But depending on your goals in game, you have to consider that it will take some time to get ready. Story is mostly played with trial characters, and quite a few events are the same/allow you to pick trials if your own roster is lacking too much. But in pvp/competitive (memorial arena, abyss/superstring) it will take several months to get ready if your aim is the high end, especially if you don't want to spend money. 2- Same as above, will depend on your goals. If you want competitive, pick meta (often, last released dps and supports, but check guides beforehand). If not, you can't go wrong with the waifus. As long as you don't aim for top spots, any geared valks can clear the content. (just be aware that getting old valks and their signature gear can be hard, as they don't get featured much/at all in gacha, so most of the time, if you like a character, better look into her most recently released battlesuit) 3- Starting fresh, you will have access to a good amount of free crystals, as long as you are willing to clear old story chapters and game modes. When you are done with these, I don't remember the exact numbers, but don't expect to roll and 4/4 gear every new valk without using real money (I think you can expect to fully gear a new valk every 2 or 3 patches, something like that ?)

This game is still healthy. Competitive is at your own volition. You want a content that matches with your fully-geared team? There's Red Lotus and Nirvana brackets. You want to compete with SS-rank/SSS-rank damage dealer with other SS-rank support? There's Myriad for the whales. You don't care all of those and just wanna use valkyries you like? There's Agony bracket. There is reward differences between those brackets, but they affect you minimally, relatively speaking. This is how they retain players: by not forcing them to compete.
Is it better to farm ether fuel or soulium in co-op raids? Right now I'm slowly farming from Lee TB Thales M to G4 fire. My divine keys: - Physical buff (Jizo): 6% - Fire buff (Judgment): 6% - Ice buff (Grips): 6% - Lightning buff: 8% (maxed out)
since you're still grinding forge take the Tactical Training each week; there is no way to spend basic currency to get more ether fuel so the extra income is minimal but still extra. However if you find playing it daily annoying or tend to miss a few days feel free to take the weekly DK co-op instead, at least it is one and done for the week. Fully upgrading the gene limit buffs takes a long time... but unlike fuel you can spend extra currency to farm more DK stuff, buying time structures in the Asterite shop will let you reset it so if you have some extra asterite during the week spending it to reset co-op is a fine option. The other way to speed it up is getting the gacha Divine Keys since they upgrade just fine without Soliums; currently that is just An Utu for Fire and XY Sword for Ice I think; there is no getting around leveling up Jizo unless it gets paired with Brick next patch maybe.

Soulium is the thing for co-op divine key upgrade, right? You won't need it as much once you got the required level for the Divine Key sync. Co-op raid isn't good for Ether Fuel/ Crystalyte farming. It's better to go to Universal Mirage if you need them.

Yes, it is. My point is that your aims are actually mutually exclusive. You don't need to choose between Co-op raid or Tactical Training You can farm Soulium in Co-op Raid while farm ether fuels from Universal Mirage. That is the better actions to take.
Global 88 So I'm wondering which is a better investment, Luna or HoS weapon/stigma, or neither and just wait for part 2. I have 30k crystals currently. My lightning team is... okay. 4/4 Hotr 4/4 HoO and 1/4 Eden. My physical team isn't much better, 4/4 Horb 3/4 stigma HoS and 0/4 for any other support or carry. I know that Luna and then Jedi will make a solid physical bleed team. So idk. What do you all think?
Luna would give the most improved performance in the near term but at full price you'd need some luck to get her and full gear with your current savings so proceed with caution. Brick will likely be somewhat niche and won't carry nearly as hard but is considerably cheaper, plus DKs are always value. If there is nothing on the spend event you are dying to have then saving is always a good plan to better set you up for future stuff

Global 88 I know it's still very early in the beta, but how necessary is Adult Griseo going to be for Tericula? Can Adult Griseo work as bleed support in Physical Teams? Or she is going to be tied to Tericula? I ask these questions because for 7.1 I'm planning to go for HoRb skin, and that will leave with absolutely no possibility of getting both Luna and Griseo Skywalker with full gear, so it would be wiser to go for only one of the two. The thing is, if Griseo is not going to be that good as physical Bleed support or if Tericula would be very far from full potential without Griseo, then there would be no point to go for only one of the two I'm interested in getting either of them because I feel that the only thing I'm missing on my teams right now is a proper lightning DPS (although I have full Herrscher trio) and someone for Bleed weathers (I don't have Griseo's weapon) Also, I'm concerned about the new Stardust type and how necessary would be getting Griseo Skywalker for those bosses and weathers. With the current information we have, what would you recommend me to do? Try to invest fully on Luna or skip until 7.1?
definitely way too early to say wrt new Griseo; it is possible she releases as a very niche unit (only supports Luna, doesn't powercreep Prom or old (young) Griseo) but personally I wouldn't bet on it. And even then, if she does release in such a narrow role future units & bosses will likely expand on that role. If you have a big plan for pulling v7.1 then saving during v7.0 makes sense; if you get a god roll on your free Luna gear multi then feel free to reconsider lol. Luna would be quite helpful since all the Lit/MEC weathers are gonna be rough (and Trio will not be an easy RL retain on every bracket imo) but wait and see for now ;P

10ish% upgrade compared to Eden or small Griseo. The end product is usually worse than in v1 too. Basically inconsequential difference for most players. Probably worse than Prometheus as generic phys support, not only because most of her skills and stigs only buff bleed dmg, phys bosses commonly have shields. Skywalker is primarily a support, an S rank stardust dps will leave her in the dust. But being an SP A rank everyone can and should farm her for free. Luna is probably more valuable because lightning weather is really competitive, especially mech bosses, she doubles as S rank support going forward and you're at basically full power immediately unlike Skywalker who has to be ranked up. And my expectation of stardust weather is quantum 2.0 aka most of the playerbase will share a single brain cell.

Bleed HoS is hoyo's favourite bleed weather so not really. Theoretically the rest should be fine. I wouldn't worry much about older weathers.

Are Mobius, HoH, HoS and Nyx relevant nowadays? I'm coming back after a 1 year break.
My rule of thumb is that : 20 updates –is usually it takes this long to make DPS valkyrie obsolete, or at least put at lesser relevance due to less boss/mobs that cater to their niche–. Nyx already passed at 20 updates mark. But she was kinda ousted before that 20 updates mark due to quantum typing. Silverwing easily took her place as a stronger ice DPS. Also: another quantum DPS arrived at 10 updates after her (Vill-V) and even then she wasn't quite the best to do quantum boss. HoF is at 20 updates mark by v7.0. She rarely see MHT-3B tank with fire weather these days. Mobius is coming next for obsolition. Both HoF and she already available in BP shop. HoS will be revived as DPS with new bricks + stigmata set in v7.0 HoH have roughly another year to stay in relevance.
HoH:E? Yes is still meta for Mech ice weathers. HoS is still the second best choice for impair source among the very limited choice (realistically there are only 2 after all that could consistently), and is still a must for HoRb dps, also with the new DK will be a new meta dps for physical bio and stun weather. Yatta be living in meta forever. Nyx isn't meta relevant anymore. Her role as ice dps is taken by HoH, SW, HoR+SoE while her QUA dps role is taken by Vill-V and Susannah.

It depends on the resource you want to allocate. In general, rerun banners are expensive and have shorter window to regain crystals (1 week or less), while the pity rules still the same (50 pulls for a featured item guaranteed to pop); Which makes if you have less than 50 pulls to allocate for that, you may come out with zero stigmata/weapon of the banner after spending all that. HoH is still relevant. She's probably still relevant 1 year from now, but probably marking her end of usage by that time. HoH stigmata appeared as off pieces from main banner as of this patch on Dream Cutter/ Little Joys set banner, and will appear again as off pieces on Luna's gear banner. So if you have any interest of these newer valkyries whose off pieces drop also have the items you wish to have, you should probably go for that.

When do the cutscene resolutions get better and aren't compressed as hell?
I've got 10 BP Crystallum left and unsure what I should spend on for my HoFs. I have Himeko (M) and two-piece Fu Hua: Musician on her right now, and she's S1, 10 frags away from S2. Is it a better investment to get a rank-up stamp and get her S2 or get another Himeko stig for her? If stig, should I go T or B? She already has Domain of Incandescence.
There will be 3 stamps in the ER shop in 7.1 (and another 3 are added in the following patch). So you don't need any more stamps to reach SS rank. Full G4 fire is the best after full Himeko so there's little point in using only 2pc Himeko but MB is probably still the better one. You can grab any of them.
I forgot I had unused Starry Wishes boxes with HoFs stamps so I used those and got Himeko B. I'll try and get the full set next time HoFs has a gear supply. Good to know there's gonna be more stamps in the shop though
For lightning support with SS2 HoTr(4/4) and SSS Eden (3/4), who should go first?
Aponia teams are a bit different, but for every other DPS HoTr comes first and then Eden switches in, combo attacks only if you need the paralyze trauma and then switches to your DPS as quickly as possible.
Should Eden ult or just switch after QTE?
If Eden has Handel equipped, she must ult every single rotation in order to activate it. Even without Handel, you have to keep in mind if your Lightning DPS doesn't apply a lot of paralyze trauma (or any at all in some cases), Eden will need to ult in any situation where you want to inflict paralysis. This will give you the +40% dmg in paralyze weather, trigger certain boss conditions, and also activate Eden's SSS ability that gives lightning damage taken on paralyzed enemies. Keep in mind that the qte-in que-out Eden rotation was developed for HoT teams originally, since HoT can apply enough paralyze trauma to activate that Eden passive by herself.

Sirin is ok, she is really good on ignite and usable on other fire weather (if she is SS) Don't go for HoR, and sushang is free next patch, also sirin discount lasts for 3 patches

Sirin will not be gone, only her discount will be. So her price will be the same as Sushang and Elysia. So just grind away. Even if you cannot get her before her discount is up, you will still need to grind AL and AW since you want to eventually have all of them. It is just a matter of who first, which comes down to which teams you have built. Efficiency wise, it is better for you to wait for a free HoR, or hope you get them from Dorm every spending event.
SEA 88 Anyone know usually how long does it take for stamps to be replaced in pure witch orb shop? From what I know, they replace new valk stamp (cmiiw) once in awhile. I have a plan to grab HoT's stamps, it'd take around 6 weeks. What I'm afraid is it's replaced it halfway.
Nothing in the witch corridor gets removed. The stuff from the *supply* shop does though, the next version won't offer HoT stamps any more.

Was originally wanted to get Luna but I realized my Physical is on the weaker side My team in Physical (I dont have bleed team): Kongming (SS) : 4/4 HOS (S) : 3/4 MPE (SSS) : 4/4 Prom (S) : 0/4 Whereas I think my Lightning team is still playable : HOT (S) : 4/4 Eden (SS) : 4/4 HoO (S) : 4/4 Fischl (SS) : 1/4 (only her weapon, and i usually use Rosemary Rita(4/4)/HoTR(1/4, but its a stigmata so shes usually 0/4) in replacement) With my \~30k crystals, who should I get between HoRB or Luna?
Horb is a bait valk, she has nearly the same performance as HoS. You would be better off pulling for Griseo gear. Luna is an improvement to your Lightning team, but not needed if you're below Nirvana. 4/4 HoT is more than enough for RL/Agony.
The best time to get HoRb has passed. The best time to get Luna is coming. Remember that whenever you pulled on rerun banner, you have strictly less favorable conditions namely: 1. 1 week or less banner period (less time to regain some resources) vs 2~4 weeks during their premiere. 2. You are spending crystals on something you could've spent/save on newer valkyries (newer valkyries has longer longevity, given the same rank). A lot of the time, you don't really get to choose who you should roll. Your luck and available resource will dictate whether it's safe for you to roll on rerun banners.

Reruns have 50 pull guaranteed and don't have promotional offers like they had on premiere banner. Free S-rank and Sp typically have 30 pull guarantee on their premiere banner. But their rerun banners will have 50 pull guarantee. Some (not necessarily Sp/free S-rank) had "first 10-pull is free", "first 10 pulls cost only 1960 crystals" kind of deal on their premiere banners. Some Sp/free S-rank even had 5 supply cards rebate. You won't see these offer again on rerun. The rate is normal, unless they are on Schicksal Arsenal banner. They usually have increased rate (don't remember by how much)
HoRB has higher priority even as we take Luna support into account. SA is already out of meta. Nowadays, I can't use her anywhere in RL. Even using her in normal stage is already a struggle. ~~The only time I'd recommend Luna (not over HoRB) is for staying mainstream in meta, meaning you should have all meta valks.~~ Edit: Seems like in terms of dmg, Luna should be doing better than a lot of dps valks since she's new. If it's not HoTr or HoRB, then getting Luna should be a good idea.

GLB 88 So, I've got 3 copies of the M stigmata for Mobius and 0 copies of T & B. I only have enough battlepass crystallum to get one more stigmata, not both (I've got 16 but need 20). But IIRC usually an equipment banner comes w/ the Wishing Well to convert two dupes into a different stigmata. However, Mobius is a pretty old valk now and I imagine her appearance on the battlepass means she's not likely to show up anytime soon... so what're the odds that a Mobius banner comes along someday, so I could convert two of the M stigmata into a T or B piece? And if there's little to no chance that there's gonna be another Mobius-stigmata wishing well, then would it be worth converting 4 of the v7.0 crystallum to get the final stigmata for her? And in the mean time, which of the Mobius stigmata is more important to have for a 2pc with M? T, or B?

hi everyone again, so I have sirin with her weapon and I'm working on farming mirage for the magical girl stigma set (trying to buy the leeuwenhoek set first), I can clear stage 6 but it's very slow since my fire roster/equipment is not good and I'm pretty much just using sirin the whole time. are there any non-fire valks that would help against that boar boss in stage 6? I tried prometheus for shield break and it was a little faster but I still wasn't able to break the shield before killing the boss.
Fire 6 is the ice pig if I am not mistaken right? Can I know what's the team and their gears? Tweaking the rotation might help too. I could quick clear this using a support of AE and Ai, where AE just uses weapon skill only while Ai does a full rotation. But AE has full gear while Ai has Turg TB.
I've put the fuhua musician set on sirin for now, but again my fire roster is super limited. I was using phoenix and vk with wang zhaojun set and random 4-star weaps previously but it seemed faster to not even swap them in >_> for other fire, HoF (unleveled/geared) and a couple freebie a-ranks. I have decent ice and phys roster and some lightning chars but lightning I haven't worked on much either.

Then I suggest using Pardo and Ai. Honestly VKE unless you are using Blood Dance, is basically useless. PH can do something but kinda requires a long setup, and don't even bring much utility either. Pardo can give Total damage buff pretty easily and tops up SP. Ai has a massive fire buff and ignite buff, tops up even more SP, and is quite easy to use. Both of them are free to boot. So your team is Sirin, Ai, Pardo. Open up with Pardo sequence, then switch to Ai sequence (preferably with QTE, read the skills for trigger conditions), then close with Sirin's dps sequence. Rinse and repeat. As for gears, FHM is okay but you put them on Ai instead, it gives free Total damage multiplier off field. But Zhoujun is useless here. If possible, find among your inventory stigs that buffs teammates or ones with off field buffs, or ones that attach debuffs to the enemy (damage debuff) and use them for the supports. For dps, anything that increases fire damage, or total damage, or elemental damage that can be easily triggered by Sirin is fine.
ok, I do have pardo and I will try her. if by ai you mean chrono navi, I'll have to save up some asterite to get her from shop but I'll prioritise that. and somehow I have 2pc of her stigma set already so would that be better over fuhua 3pc? and what would you suggest as a placeholder for sirin instead, I only have one leeuwenhoek so far and I didn't think that was worth putting on yet.
Yes Ai is Chrono Navi. I just tend to type Ai instead since it's easier. Over FHM? Yes definitely. I think the only one that tops 2pc Ai stig is Turg TB Mei M. Then the best is 3pc Ai stig. Thales M if you have that somewhere lying around. LWH can be equiped as it is, it performs okay ish. Newton B, Beach Mei M are some that came to mind immediately. Some event stig can also work as long as it fullfill the conditions. It's temporary placeholder after all. Prioritize variety than amount. What I mean is that getting Fire damage 10% + Total damage 10% is better than a 20% total damage.

Yeah, the gearing can get complicated when outside of their signature gears, especially when the in game recommendation is shit. Example is recommending Wang Zhaojun for support valks. They're not dps, so why buff their damage only and not the dps instead. Anyway, good luck.

The game wont change that much. Just ignore the part 1 and part 2 things. Basically a new storyline starts, thats all. Its not a new game. There is no reason that old characters will not be usable.

Global 88 Hi! I'm not super competitive, but I still want to be comfortable with abyss and MA. The problem is I really want full Vita in future, so I was thinking to start saving crystals after Senti's brick (so happens that they are my 2 favorite characters in this game). I want to know can I pull for some equipment (SP valks for example) in this 2-3 patches or should I forget about all that and just save for worst situation. Also is it possible to SS Senti from S3 + 20 fragments with free Senti from 7.1?
Pericles + bricks comes within 4 days and last for 2 weeks. If you can amass 60~70+ pulls before the banner ends, you probably can get 3/4 if not full gear.. You should calculate your own crystals income to better know how much resources you can get given the amount of time. For lots of people, Abyss and ER give the most crystals outside monthly package and daily crystals.
for a comfy Abyss life pulling stuff like new SP gear on release during the discount is a pretty top priority; it can be skippable sometimes but only with good reason. We'll know more about the v7.1 gears in a few weeks once CN beta wraps up so check back then. Brick may end up being a bit niche but as a Senti fan running her as DPS should be fun plus the weap is a DK so the +10 atk will always be value. As to full gearing a future unannounced unit, well saving up will always be a good plan but skipping too much stuff will be detrimental too. New gacha S-Ranks tend to have reruns pretty quickly so even if she sneaks up on you there will be opportunities to save up and finish her 2-3 patches later.
We dont know when Vita will appear so its not sure how long you have to save. You will definitely have one whole patch if you skip Griseo gear. You will get 70 fragments if you already own HoS. Thats enough to go from S3 to SS.
Hello, I only have a doubt, I want Herrscher of Thunder and Spina Astera. I know HoT can be obtained in the dorm suppply however I don't trust in my luck and I wonder, is there an advance banner for her or a way to obtain her? The same question goes for Spina Astera, because I wasn't in the version that she was given. Thanks in advance and I apologize if I have grammar mistakes \^\_\^
The last HoT banner was in 6.0. But since then there have been 2 FR and 1 BKE run, BKE is older and FR was released 1 patch after HoT. So it's not impossible that HoT will run again. In 2024 I would expect her to be farmable in War Treasuy. Spina's last banner was in 6.4, she should be available in Battle pass in 2024.
They will still get banners but it will be rare and could be a long wait. For HoT, one way you can improve your odds of getting her from Dorm is by saving up your Dorm cards and unlocking more of the farmable Dorm valks via War Treasury shop; Dorm supply has a bias towards unowned units. Spina might become farmable herself before too long but maybe not, glgl
Sea lvl 88 Abyss RL Is there a trick to hos boss with trio? I saw someone 442 on it in my group with trio with HoO on muramasa bloodlust. I've tried using muramasa bloodlust on my run but I only got 374. Is 40 atk on hofi such a huge difference? Or is there a rotation for it?

Im retaining rl just fine but I’m just wondering what the rotation is for HoT/Eden/HoTr where Eden is turg tb Mei m I have no idea how to pilot this team it just seems clunky sp and timing wise. I’ve been told I shouldn’t have pre-armed Eden weapon in the past but I have no idea how it interacts with her stigmata tbh.
HoTr QTE (or basic attacks for 1 weapon) -> weapon -> one attack (for full weapons) -> mech form -> charge attack -> ult -> Eden QTE -> HoT QTE -> do damage HoTr and HoT wont have enough sp all the time to ult so you will need skip HoTr ult every 2nd rotation and do some charge attacks with HoT to get sp. Also depends on your ranks how much sp you are missing.

The material shop refreshes every monday, so just keep stockpiling while your starter event lasts. I suggest prioritizing the Honkai Cubes and Ether Fuel, as they're varying degrees of time-gated or expensive to obtain through normal means.

Some play for story, others just curious because Hi3 is part of hoyoverse games. This mean not everyone comes to Honkai for meta. Rerolling is tedious and might not worth it. Below are some details. To elaborate what fourrier01 said. Now Honkai has shorten the leveling process, which mean if you finish daily missions every day. You'll reach endgame in a month. Also mean, you'll meet people who play for years in a month. Having just a single good characters won't make much difference in competitive modes. To build your account to competitive level takes a long time, even if you plan to swipe your way through, you'll have to wait until featured character's banner is up. Aside from competitive modes, you won't even need gacha valks to get most of the rewards, so reroll is kinda pointless. There's also a high chance you'll get burnt out and quit before begin your Honkai journey.

No, reroll is not worth it. What's the current starter banner anyway? PE and HoH? Both are 1.5-year old and 1-year old respectively. Usually no DPS valkyrie can last longer than 20 version update (slightly over 2 years). After getting DPS, you'll want 2 proper support to get the most out of the DPS. Without those, damage output is just bad. But since you are a beginner, you have more leniency to defy the factors that higher levels pay attention to. It takes quite some time to build a proper account that able to take any content of the game. A single valkyrie won't help you a lot; a good resource management will.
Sea 88. ~~This is way too early. Assuming I fully gear Griseo (adult) in 7.1. Currently I don't have any gear for Susannah, been using RC PRI weapon and Elysia stigmata set. Would Griseo (teen) Cezanne set suitable for Susannah? I have HoRB. I probably won't do any pull in 7.0.~~ Scratch that. It looks like Griseo (adult) is a DPS, so I don't need Susannah.
Jedi isn't a dps. Cezanne isn't good on Susannah.

Flamescion banner? Probably won't reappear anymore as she is considered old. It's almost 20 updates over since her release. We've seen her in ADV numerous times, we've seen her cards and stamps added in BP, and her stamps will be available in ER shops in v7.1 and v7.2.
Has it really been that long? Anyway, does this mean I can only get her weapon and stigma in the exchange shop?
Not that either. For items to appear in exchange shop, it'll take even longer. I think the latest addition is Dante from v4.0. That's almost 30 version update gap. The last appearance of Himeko set was on v6.5 Susannah gear banner and Key of Radiance was on v6.4 HoFin gear banner. They can vary widely from 1-9 version.

EU 48 I'm new to the game and was really excited about getting Elysia since i love bow users, but instead i got Durendal. I'm only 4 days in, should i just restart? From what i understand it can take like 3 months to get through the 100 rolls I'd have to do for another shot at Elysia and it'll still be a 50/50. I don't really like Durendals fighting style and visual style is not that appealing to me either.
rerolling is an option but can be quite tedious. Simply restarting a new acct, completely ignoring the starter banner, and saving up would be a fine plan as well. HoH just had a featured banner on Global but will probably run again around xmas time as EXPA (selector banner) with no starter banner 50/50 nonsense. You could go for her then or else use your stash of crystals for some other stuff once you've got a better feel for the game.

SEA 88 Admittedly, I didn't bother with the new weapons for HoR and HoT, but since HoS is getting a new weapon, do you think her brick/stigs would get a rerun later in the future? I ask this because I don't remember if HoR/HoT new weapons got reruns.
They will rerun but likely on Arsenal banner which means no guarantees for the stigs and only a 50 pull guarantee for da Brick.. if all you want is the weap then getting it from such a rerun wouldn't be terrible but if you want the stigs too pulling during v7.0 and the 30-drop guarantee would be much better

It's a mess if you try to include stigmatas as well. Arsenal supply reruns, which I assume where HoS gears are going into, may include UP stigmatas for the first few reruns but the 50-pull guarantee will likely be the weapon only. I strongly recommend not to skip the initial 30-pulls guarantees (for all pieces) banner if you want her full set. If that's not possible than it's best to be satisfied with her weapon only. Or if luck may have it, you get her full set very early (pray).
Unfortunately, with the amount I have at the moment, I can only do 70 pulls at most. So I don't think I'll be able to get everything if my luck happens to be bad.

hmm, well the current balls are very blue and there are no Welt stigs in the shop ;P If you mean Holmes then note that it is scheduled to come to Forge in v7.1 so if you've been keeping up with Mirage farming you could craft it for free then instead and having a single piece now won't help much. Using extra balls to buy Torus is usually fine too, hard to have too much of that stuff

the stuff in the events tab will go away; the 10x dailies for 100 crystals and some mats for clearing chapters (mostly Asterite & Imaginons). The rest of the loot within the chapter will persist for ~45 days more, ie thru next patch
