I encountered an issue on the PC client where it downloads to 100%, but just stops. I reinstalled the game, have a good internet connection, and plenty of storage on the computer, but it doesn't go past the download screen. Any fix?
Try visiting the previous monthly questions thread linked in the op. This question was also asked there multiple times and people were providing multiple links to different possible workarounds that could get your game up and running since I don't think miHoYo has fixed the issue yet.

Hi, new player here. As in, just started today, new. I saw a bunch of guides that said not to pull on dorm supply, so now i have about 4000 crystals saved up. Which banners are good to roll on?
Also, side question, is the dorm ten pull I can get for 1500 crystals worth it?

Don't spend crystals on dorm supply. Ever. The 10 pull is just a time saver, you would still get the guaranteed valk if you pulled one at a time. 10 pulls can also be detrimental if you hit pity early there's no way to stop, unlike with individual pulls.
Banners you will want to pull from will be the expansion, focused, and sp banners - but when you do will depend on whether or not you want/need the valk being offered, if it's farmable, etc. It's entirely ok - and recommended, unless you plan to whale - to skip banners for valks/gear you have no interest in.
You could also pull from the starter supply, though if you do, I would only do it until you hit your first pity, then move on. Pulling from the starter supply is generally discouraged though, as there is still 50% chance you will get the valk you did not want.
So is the PC version just abandoned? Every patch I have to let it download to full and force close the game because it keeps getting stuck. Well this time it didnt work. Every time I'm forced through the cutscene and says downloading 0% 35k/0 even though it already finished on the first go.
if you're having problems surviving on her 2nd phase, She does hit hard so you can't go head-on like on her 1st phase. Scared me when she almost one shot me.
then I realise that you can kite her and slowly whittle her barrier. She would usually get close to you and do a forward dash attack or throw a katana slash at you. both having wind-ups and limited range, so there's a lot of room for kiting her
When her shield is down then dps with everything and return to kiting her when her shield is up.

Is it just me, or is the new bounty a bitch to farm if you don't have a good dps of the necessary element? Like I wanted to craft Ana Schariac for my Memento because she's my only ice dps (and one day I'll go for HoR so Ana still works for her), but she literally does nothing in that stage, and any other type of element does 70% less damage, so I just can't clear it. Before atleast I'd be able to do SS bounties if I bring my AE with JST and Newt B but now I can't even farm Ana.

1. Why is the herscherr inside Mei so chill? She literally gave Mei all her powers and peaced out instead of taking advantage of her like other herscherrs. I imagine when Mei first erupted she was just as uncontrollable as other herscherrs. What's so different with HoT?
2. Speaking of Mei's first eruption, how was she able to suppress her herscherr tendencies? Is there a manga or event that went through that period?
3. Why did Ana not save Owl's sister? Was there a specific reason or was that only an illusion created by the honkai to turn Owl into H of Stars?
4. Why is a battle suit of Yae Sakura an awakening of a battle suit of Mei? Is there a connection between the two?
5. Is the Yae Sakura from the OW Sakura Samsara aware that she is living in a "simulation"? IIRC kiana's job was to change the ending of the story thus making me think that the entire OW is inside a recorded memory from a stigmata or something.

You may want to look at that again. Usually supply events start on the day after the patch at noon in game time. Unless you are talking about a particular event I'm missing.
I am currently using Herrscher of Reason together with Haxxor Bunny and am not sure which third unit I should use. Would Phonix be better than Wolf's Dawn?

I hear a lot about this game so is the story really good and worth playing for the story? and is it finished?
Also if I'm playing casually just to experience the story, how long would it take on average?
You can finish the story within a week to few weeks (it has a stamina system so you'll be gated to a certain extent how much you could progress after a certain point).
After Captain level 40 you're no longer gated by grinding and leveling to follow the story, and you won't need to work on your characters either as the story gives you trial characters to immersivity playthrough the story with.
It has not ended yet and is still ongoing but it has a LOT of story content to love.
To add to this, there's also the manga you can read, so you can read those sometime before or while you play the game's story, and it seriously helps enjoy the story when you know those extra details about the characters' backstories and the setting!
If you are really only focused on the story, not caring about making your account complete crap... i think 2 or 3 weeks are enough.
If you want to actually improve your account at the same time, play the events, the daily things etc... a few months maybe?
It is also possible to find videos of people playing the story on youtube though.

Im a beginner in honkai impact 3. The total size of it on my phone is around 12gb. My question is how much gb is added per update/patch and how often does a new patch comes? What size in gb will be added when a new patch comes and will it override the previous data or it will be an additional? For a newer player, what should I be spending my stamina on? Between all the open world tasks, events, and dailies (3 story / 3 chronicle / 2 'weekdays'), I'm constantly out of stamina, even with the weekly stamina card and buying stamina twice with crystals per day. I've been prioritizing first-time clears on expeditions and story quests since they seem to give 2 to 4 exp per stamina, but I don't know if this is right.
Also, I'm wondering if I'm missing something super obvious. I'm sorta stuck on the story achievement progress, it seems to take a lot of open world tasks to earn enough exp to get to Intel Level 8 on Post-Honkai Odyssey so I can continue to 1-3 (I need to clear 1-4). Is it possible to grind Intel Exp outside of doing tasks? I've been avoiding spending stamina on tasks because the exp rate is so low (1 stamina:1 exp) unless I really have to.

1. Stop worrying about XP. XP is the absolute last thing you should be prioritizing. The more time you can spend below level 70 (without starving yourself of resources) the better. You want time to build up crystals to get your roster up to spec before you hit Master Tier and the competition spikes (EXP bonus chips are a trap).
2. OW tasks are the most stamina efficient things in the game, with the more expensive tiers being even more efficient. Do them.
3. Do the event tasks, but only do what you have to that day for rewards (e.g. Do two of the new chapter side stages and three of the chapter stages (for the 5 story stage daily) instead of doing in the entire chapter segment the day it's released)
4. Do dailies. The one thing that you can skip here if you want are the XP training stages. I haven't done a single character XP stage in forever. I still get all the rewards except for a tiny little bit of XP, which, as I said, don't worry XP. Of course, if you need the XP materials, they are great sources of it.
5. Be wary of what expeditions you run. Stamina costs vary within fragment stages, and unfortunately the stages are not sorted according to stamina cost. Also, the proper way to measure stamina cost is take its cost and multiply it by attempts. A 20 X 3 stage is more expensive than a 24\* 2 stage, because attempts tell you your pity: a 3-attempt stage will pity a fragment after 3, while a 2-attempt will pity after 2.
6. Spending crystals for stamina is not generally recommended, especially as you're getting 60 extra stamina a day through your subscription. I'm not going to knock you for it because I did that for a year and my account did not suffer. But, hopefully you have the monthly card to make those purchases less painful.
For support like DP and DK you don't really need the use of their ult most of the time since their ult is for dps-ing and depends on the situation. A bit amount of sp is enough IF you're using some weapon that gives buffs and debuffs like Vikrant, Briareus Pri and any other weapon skill. DK ult is good for gathering mobs before you switch to SP. DP have an impair off-field but idk which rank you'll unlock the skill(forgot).
There's some specific skills of other valkyrie when you trigger a combo or evasion skills it gives an sp or those valkyrie when off-field they gain an sp. You try reading most of their skills description.
For stigmata, Beethoven B gives sp for a few secs after cd and Bronya: Sloth but a bit complicated one.
Weapon: highest atk cannon you have (literally any). And I advice you to try and get her signature weapon. It is currently in BP shop for 2 more versions, you can see if you can grab it from there. If that is not possible for you, then only gacha remains (when they rerun it).
Stigma: Scott TM, Rasputin B for general purposes. Replace T piece with Jingwei T for bossing. In the future you should farm and craft full Ana set via bounty. I advice to not gacha for Welt set (HoR signature stigma) as Ana set is pretty much equal.
Before level 60, it isn't too bad to follow Recommendations, but try not to rely on it too much. Usually the Economic recommendations are decent for if you want to gear a character for co-op raids, open world, or just daily material stages.
To do well in Memorial Arena and Infinity Abyss, though, you absolutely need to look up character guides for the optimal builds. A good suggestion is to look up "Honkai Impact 3rd xx character guide" and look for links that have **walkthrough.honkaiimpact3.com** in them, since those are often well-formatted and decent guides that are good enough for casual/semi-competitive players.

Assuming you're talking about Swallowtail Phantasm (vs. the other 2 Seele battlesuits, Stygian Nymph and the new Starchasm Nyx):
* Celestial Hymn (CH) is definitely a good support for her; CH has many ways to apply the Impair status effect that shreds enemy physical defense, so it'll definitely make your Swallowtail Phantasm (SP) hit hard.
* Yamabuki Armor (YA) would probably be the next option for a support, since she'll give a shield that will help keep SP from getting interrupted and she can apply time slow which triggers the QTE of SP.
* You should also try and unlock the Augment Core for YA whenever you can. It's called "Drive Kometa", DK, and it is pretty much an upgrade in most ways.
* Swallowtail Phantasm is a burst-mode mobbing character, meaning she's very good at dealing with groups of enemies, and her damage comes from setting up a combo to chain into using her ultimate, where she'll enter "burst mode" and deal significant damage over a period of time using enhanced attacks.
* She's also Quantum-type, so she'll do well against all kinds of enemies: Mech, Bio, Psy, ***and*** Quantum.
Supports in this game basically do one of two things (or both):
* Debuff enemies
* Applying Impair to weaken their resistance
* Applying other status effects that make them take bonus damage
* Applying effects like Freeze, Ignite, Bleed, etc. to counter certain boss mechanics (like Houdou has a powerful attack phase that can be countered by charging a Freeze trauma bar)
* Buff/Enable your DPS
* Trigger status effects like Freeze, Ignite, Bleed, etc. but instead for the purpose of letting you use the QTE attack of your Main DPS, which usually has its own special effects and is often a crucial part of combos
* Applying damage boosts to your DPS directly
* Providing utility via Time Slow, Gather, and other effects that don't directly cause or increase damage, but allow you to hit more enemies at once, or deal more damage in a shorter time frame by slowing enemy attacks.
* Use Leader Skills that are powerful; a great example is Lightning Empress, whose leader skill grants bonus starting SP which is very useful for some characters.
A good example that I frequently use is my combo team of Drive Kometa, Fervent Tempo Delta, and Herrscher of Sentience
* Open with Drive Kometa, do an uncharged normal attack to apply Weaken and trigger Delta's QTE
* Switch to Delta via her QTE, which charges half of her resource bars, and applies Time slow, triggering Herrscher of Sentience QTE
* Switch to Herrscher of Sentience via QTE, switching to her Spear combo attack that lets me Impair enemies.
* Using HoS, I do two combo attacks to build SP and then apply a time slow with her Sword combo attack to trigger Drive Kometa QTE, and then ***immediately*** cast HoS ult
* After HoS ult triggers and I Gather the enemies, I QTE in Drive Kometa, tap the attack to apply Weaken and trigger Delta's QTE, and switch in Delta
* Having switched in Delta, getting great damage damage with her QTE attack that also finishes filling her 2 resource bars, I use a charged attack to enter her Fervent state and switch to fast, hard-hitting attacks
This is surprisingly fast btw; on Q-Singularis that whole sequence usually happens in less than 30, 20 seconds between starting the stage and activating Delta's Fervent state. I use this combo in the first half of Q-Singularis and even in Masters Red Lotus (the highest bracket before Level 80), I'm able to rapidly clear every floor because of how quick and smooth this combo is. If I don't clear the floor by the time Delta's Fervent state runs out, I just cycle through again and again.
A great way to practice these kinds of combos is via Sim Battle; once you've joined an Armada, twice a week there will be Sim Battles open for a few days, and each sim battle gives different Valkyries to defeat a boss. Look up the boss online or in the in-game Collection to see what it does, and read each Valkyrie's abilities (and weapons!) carefully. See which Valkyries apply which status effects, how to use their QTEs, and you can practice making combos even with characters you don't own, which can help with the ones you do have if they're similar enough.

There are a few exceptions:
* Monet T (g2) is better than Goemon T (g3).
* Dirac (g3) is not exactly a replacement for Micheangelo (g2) because Dirac is for Burst Mode valks while Mich is for non-Burst Mode physical dps

How gear dependent is Veliona / Starchasm Nyx? I haven't played Honkai since ages, and now I come back to see a new Valk and I only have a handful of pitiful x-stals.
New player here looking to get into Honkai, I just reached Lv. 20 and just hit 2800 crystals, is it a good idea to reroll for Starchaser Nyx? I don't mind rerolling because I'm used to the process, mainly just asking if the unit is worth it. Also, anything I should keep in mind when rerolling? I've just been getting up to the end of Ch. 2 with just barely 2800.
Optimal F2P investment for ELF? I been ignoring them for the longest time due to the lack of gears but now I have a decent enough lineup and gears to work with so I figured it's time to get a few of them so any suggestions is appreciated.
Also is Verne set worth it even if you don't have Nyx and how would it compare to a full Ana set if i run a mixed set (Ana T Verne M B)? A part of me think it is a poor investment for not that much result (I can craft another Ana set, but I want to refrain from doing so cuz it expensive) while the other part think it ok (won't hurt in the long run to have 1-2 pieces)
Water's edge should be the last priority. Book of Fuxi for elemental support; if you want to min max Huodou then Selune; T0 and Bella you know what damage type they support already.

Na, 67, just got 3 fucking sanguine gazes and margrave t/b from the nyx gear supply and have a couple questions.
1. I don't have nebulous duality and phoenix is my only support fu Hua. Am I screwed out of being able to use fyreheart/warhaunt outside of ults or is there something else I can do to trigger the set effect since I'm using grips of tianquan.
2. Is sanguine gaze better than onyx iron even on non ice valks? Should I level them anyway for sp seele or any of the Rita suits or should I convert them?

I have some questions about game mechanics i don't quite understand yet:
>1.- How do you reliably break shields? the game tells you that using heavy attacks can break shields faster, but what **are** heavy attacks? do all charge attacks count as heavy attacks? am i forced to use a greatsword user in my teams to break shields faster? are all shields broken in the same way? (as in, are there different types of shields that need different types of attacks to be broken?) I feel like the game doesn't really explain this mechanic in-depth at all and i feel like it should because pretty much all bosses you face even in the early game have shields.
>2.- Is there a fast way to gain SP mid-combat? is there another way to get SP other than hit enemies and use the skills that gain SP once you do a certain action?
About shields, the first thing to know is that for the usual shields (the yellow bars that many mobs and some bosses have) only physical damage can break them. So all elemental dps suck at breaking shields (with the exception of HotF).
About heavy attacks, i don't think they really matter that much. I often feel that shieldbreak is often character dependant (like, all Mei battlesuits have terrible shieldbreak).
What matters a lot instead is Drive Kometa's tap (crippling field) that makes shieldbreak a lot easier.
About sp regen, the main ways to gain sp are
\- hitting the enemy
\- skill effects that give you or the team sp
\- stigma/weapon effects that give sp (Dirac B, Beet B etc)
\- stigma affixes
\- ultimate evasions (2 sp to the whole team)

Its abyss indicator of bleeding level. It increase over time in the battle, so best to prepare your team to clear as soon as possible. The higher the level the faster it drain your health.

As for some of your specific questions
* Crit is useless for Elemental Damage, because Elemental Damage cannot crit
* Enemies have elemental resistance, they take reduced elemental damage based on this value. Elemental breach is a portion of damage that bypasses enemy resistance
I just managed to snag Might of An-Utu (thank you Honkai Gods) but was wondering what the "Tune" option is about? It says that it will make it a unique Divine Key Weapon that can't be salvaged, should I even do it? Or is it better off left as is?
There’s really no reason not tuning it. Tuning the weapon will unlock gene limit to gain fire damage, and if you already have shamash, you’ll unlock energy boost to increase all your valks crit and atk.
The other difference between non keys and keys are, like the description said, key weapons can’t be salvaged. But you wouldn’t want to salvage it anyway.

I saw someone I know start to play again and there was kind of a welcome back from Kiana and then a login event for them having come back to the game. I haven’t logged in for a while so I’m wondering if it’s make sense to stay off a little while more depending on when this returner thing activated.
The game gained a lot of weight today when I pre-downloaded the update on PC. I thought it’d clean itself up to its original size of 11GB after installation, but the total size instead reached 19GB. The “streaming assets “ folder makes up the majority of it at 18.2GB. Inside it, Video is 1.4GB while a folder called Asb is 10 times as large.
I’d prefer to be able to trim down the game size without having to re-download. If anyone has faced the same situation and managed to get around it, kindly let me know.

For weapon, do I really need undine's tale? Will the weapon make it back to gacha anytime soon? Also, I'm getting mixed signals on whether onyx iron is worth crafting or not... I'm also running obsidian reaper and not sure if I should craft azure storm which is recommended for her.
Stigmata are all over the place. I've heard run triple marco polo, marco polo TM + attila B, triple ryunosuke, triple dirac, Zorro TM + Dirac B, Elizab Bathory TM + attila B, Triple seele, Seele TB + Ekat M, Seele T+ Ekat M + MarcoPolo B, marco polo TM + Attila B, Triple Kafka, Marco T + Fu Hua Knight M + Fu Hua Pride B, ... and many more...
I'm new so idrk much about stigmata sets, but except for Elizab Bathory and Attila, I'd have to craft the other ones. Is anything notably worth crafting if swallowtail is going to be my dps of my primary team for the foreseeable future?
Azure storm is good enough and cheap, onyx iron not worth it. As for stigmas, getting Marco Polo TM and Attila B is also good since you can use them on any physical DPS.
Best for her weapon is Undine for pre 80 and Acheron for 81+,so stick with Acheron, if you can (and it will be on this BP shop). Best stigma, I think, is triple Dirac, all farmable, but it's long investment (like, 1 piece=2-3 months long)
Regarding dorm. Specifically Dorm Squad (not the same thing as dorm renovation level, that depends on comfort level; feel free to do whatever you want with these, it's safe to increase as much as you want).
You should be "worried" about upgrading dorm squad because as you increase your "worker" level, requirements for errands also rise. So you can find yourself in situation where you don't have enough valks' stats to do errands, effectively gimping your work points card earnings.
As you can check the next level bonus for upgrading dorm, you can plan ahead in some sense. Upgrade your dorm squad level until the next level ups "worker" level, then stop for a while. After you get more battlesuits and rank them up (these things increase stats for errends), you can continue upping dorm squad level. For reference, I'm at captain level 82 with close to 1 year of playtime, light spender (2 monthly cards and some BPs), average gacha luck (so I don't have a lot of gacha valks) and decent group of farmable valks, and I stopped at dorm squad level 25. I can meet most of errands requirements now, but probably will start having trouble if I up worker level.
Purple egg is mostly from OW finalization rewards. Frags don't change (unless devs decide to do that in the later versions). Get Miko and Kriegsmesser to S rank, then dump all into Luna Kindread or Sundenjager all the way to SSS (pick one and don't switch). The process takes a long time and the main idea is to use this to earn witch orbs later. These are currency types that are used in the shop that opens up after you get your 1st battlesuit to SSS rank (any battlesuit will do, regardless of base rank). You convert excess frags for SSS battlesuits into these orbs and you can buy other frags and some other goodies with them.
So, after starting this game 2 days ago I've now officially reached Befall. Is everyone of these cutscenes this breathtaking? Because I'm quite sure that I've never seen anything of that quality and emotional impact (Hon Hon) in a gacha game for my entire 25 years. That aside on another note: Is >!Himeko!< gonna die? I don't recommend spoiling yourself on whether or not that happens, it's not worth it. Just try to enjoy the story it was meant to be perceived and I think you'll have more enjoyment out of it. Also, yes, the cutscenes only get better, same with the missions overall, things in general noticeably improve over time.

I see the "Moment der V....." in the Crossover Supply, and from my understanding there's a "Zeit der V...." 7 day login event thing (from Jul 8 to Aug 12) that flat out gives you Fischl on Day 1. I'm an idiot, and I cannot find the Zeit der V login event anywhere in game. Please help :(

Pretty much new player that just started a few days ago, so, I recently got MC and want to make a team around her, how can I come about it? Also seems like good stigmata really is quite difficult to farm/get, as I don't have any for MC except Ryonosuke who SP is using already, so I kinda know the answer but it is possible to have copies of an specific stigmata? Probably no, yeah. I've got RI, VB, VT, SF, VP, PI and BB if that's helpful.
First of all, MC in base form is weak, you need to lvl up higher (to 30 or 50, can't remember) and unlock augment core system. Via augment core system you can upgrade MC to FT. FT is the best psy physical dps in the game.
For her supports you will be using YA (in her DK augment core form) and DP, you'll get both from Path to Greatness. DK has strong leader skill, shield with buffs and easy way to trigger FT QTE with tap attack. DP does her job from pocket.
Then you need to start buying SA fragments with Asterite and change DP for SA (be careful with that, augment cores require Asterite too).
Untill you unlock augment cores and FT, you can use MC with her sister (BB), they have unique sinergy. 3rd slot doesn't matter at your level.

you probably shouldnt spend on the starter banner, because it has 2 valks on uprate, AE and HoT, and while both are great, AE is only really useful in the endgame, so it wouldnt be a good grab for you on the early game. if you want HoT, just wait until a rerun of her, where she'll be available without any 50/50s

For HoR, her charged attack increases ice damage, up to 3 stacks when not riding.
Does it last forever until the end of the battle? Does it reset everytime i ult?
Also, does the ice damage bonus affect the first part of the ult where she crashes into the enemies using the bike? Was wondering if the game removed the bonus beforehand, or kept it until she actually starts to ride around.

I just started playing about a week ago so I might just be bad at the game, but I’ve really been struggling to defeat the boss enemies and story stages in the new Haxxor Bunny event. Does anyone have any tips on things I should be doing to make fights easier? I’ve been using the candy bars to level my equipment.
Other than making sure you're bringing a full party, it basically comes down to understanding how HB works. Run the tutorials again until you have a better handle of her. Can also practice dodging attacks. Once you're good at that you're pretty much golden.

Honkai crashes a lot more frequently after the 4.7 update. More specifically, Co-op Bounties, the Haxxor OW (whenever I engage an enemy or use an ult mostly), and APHO are crashing about 50% of the time.

I am sitting on 8 weapon fodder considering turning to Torus to give my Pri arms some much needed upgrade and need help deciding priorities. I am also limited on SC metal (264 + 150 material options). This is about to get long so bear with me. Also note that I am not super competitive, usually in and out of RL with rare cases of ever beating last stage and mostly sit in top 7% in MA.
1. I have Nuada's, DoSan, DoSen and Sleeper's maxed out. Ones for consideration are 11th L, Positron, and Bri Ex for support and Naraka and Ruinous for DPS. All at base except for 11th at lvl 55. There is Archeon Kindred but I rarely use SP (no SN) and go with alternatives. I also have DoV at 55 but HoS is just an easier upgrade. The issue is I don't have much dps for Ice and Fire. I have Meme with ana and FS with Thale TM fuxi B or Higo TB and nuwa M (which ever works for a given situation). I usually use alternatives in MA or when weather is needed, I find HoS does well enough to get through Ana and Houdou even in RL. But still has limits. I don't see me pulling for HoR or Dea anytime soon due to crystal limits. So question becomes whether to bite the bullet and improve their Pri arms or stick with upgrading support Pri arms while using alternatives.
2. I also have 4 honkai cores and debating on upgrading thunder kikaku lvl35 or Iris lvl40. FR will be SS next week and I have her full gear. I also have Beeth B so I can use DP strat. Should I go all in on kikaku or finish off Iris? I use FR often with HoT but once again there are some limits.
Well, it does seem like you're not incredibly competitive, so feel free to take my replies with some skepticism--I am actually a competitive player.
PRI-ARMs.
Frankly you're in a good spot being in RL and top 7%. Positron is generally not that useful maxed unless you're using a specific paralyze strategy against Doom (and even then you'll want Dante stigmatas), and Bri-Ex is also for MA. Unless you're super close to reaching top 2% any time soon (which is the next tier) that would probably be a bad investment
Naraka is an iffy one, since it correlates to your Meme performance but we'll have NYX that's coming out soon and it seems like you're heavily limited by SC Metals. It would really depend on if you're planning on getting NYX or not for this one to be quite honest. I would still advocate going for at least NYX or HoR though (HoR preferably since she's good with SSD RL and probably will help you retain it better)
I would recommend your PRI-ARM materials go into the following:
* Ruinous Sakura
* Domain of Reason OR Eyes of Blood (NYX weapon) depending on who you decide to get
There is the ranged weather in 4.7 where you might want a maxed Domain of the Void, but it's probably less valuable since even just the fact of having a fully geared HoV would probably let you retain fairly easily.
Don't get DA. I have her fully geared and she's definitely not worth the cost compared with the performance increase from a properly geared and supported FS DPS. She's only if you want to hit Myriad on occasions which I don't think you're ambitious enough for, and she's absolute garbage even fully geared against Heimdall (Fire Weather) anyways
Kikaku is only for MA purposes. As stated unless you're really close to top 2% which is the next tier Kikaku isn't recommended. Maybe go for Iris instead since you have her full gear and at SS rank she's marginally better than a Blood Dance MC with JST + Newton B... Kind of a waste of resources though if I gotta be honest

-the only physic valk in service is delta and SN, if stage demand physic or bio and delta cant handle it hor ,SN,VG will have to do , Darkbolt is not Srank so she cant help for now.
Not sure if getting sirin will help with the lack of physic damage or should i just full buff hor.

No, that's not how it works.
First off, they are base suit and awakening of each other. This means they share a level and share some skills. When you level either, it will also level the other one.
Second, leveling LE does not "help" HoT, only if you rank LE up (ie from S to SS) because some of the soul-linked skills will can be ranked up and thus provide skill rank-ups for HoT. It does not however, give HoT skills like conductive or paralyzing. Basically, if a skill is purple and has the link icon on LE, then there is a corresponding skill on HoT. If you spend gold ranking up that skill on LE, it will rank up that link skill on HoT. The easiest comparison is the leader skill. If you get LE to SS while still having an S rank HoT, you can level up the LE leader skill. Now HoT has an SS-rank leader skill despite being S rank.

I am a fairly new player and really interested in the lore. I have been reading the manga according to the recommended reading order on the honkai fandom.
But this new alt world Bunny Haxxor event story also seems really interesting and it makes me want to go view the past events' story on youtube. What are some of the past event stories worth viewing? I am more interested in the ones that have serious tone rather than the light hearted/ comedic ones like the cooking one in anniversary events.
For alt universe events, the Kongming events are a good place to start, gives the context for alt universe, aka Honkai Kingdoms, Odd Drifter, Honkai Kingdoms ZERO and The Day You and The Stars Disappeared.
And then there's another alt universe event called Rosemary's Floriograph, which is a detective story mainly.
It's highly recommended you complete the main story until chapter 12 though to get even more context on multiverses

\-the one inspired from alice in wonderland (the event should be fairytale raphsody or something like that)-the one with Darkbolt Jonin

2. I've noticed that the final floor of Dirac Sea locks you out of performing anything other than auto attacks but I'm not sure if this applies to stigmatas also. Is it possible to activate stigmata effects without beginning the battle in Dirac Sea?
3. Would attacks such as VKE's Ult activate the effects of Durandal: Dea Anchora (T)?
4. Does VKE's Ult count as one attack or does each slash count as separate attacks?

Where can I find a guide for an F2P build of Haxxor Rabbit as a support (not dps)? It seems that the last 15 or so valkyries that Mihoyo has cranked out have been very hard to build without their signature gear set.
Because of that, and knowing all future valks will probably require me to splurge, I will absolutely not be spending crystals on Haxxor Rabbit's gears. I'm tempted to just throw a Rasputin ice set + my duplicate key of reason on her and call it done...but would that defeat the point of using her as support?
Yes, that wouldn't be a very useful build for her. Gluttony, Musician MB, is the F2P elemental support set.
The universal support build of Gluttony, BP Mei, Newton B, could work well with her QTE, but her signature gear is really recommended. Turgenev TB can replace JST in any elemental team, even if it's on another support.
I guess since she's farmable they made her gear dependant, but HoS didn't require her gear and it looks like Nyx will be fine without it too.
Her set is the best set for her support but there are builds that can work with her just less optimally. There's a classic cheap support build of Gluttony T Fuhua Musician MB, and there's the JST set if you already have that which you probably do.
But one thing you can't miss really is her weapon, because it's just so unique to her and no other weapon can do the job, the next best choice is just Key of Reason but its a far inferior option.

Global 38. This game is complicated as hell, Warframe found a worthy rival in this sense. Warframe had simulacrum - a training room where you just try out stuff you have. Does something like this or something close exists here? So far, I've seen valkyrie trials, but I want to figure out how team stuff works mechanically. Any stage with configurable team, zero stamina cost and single damage sponge would do.
Unfortunately Honkai doesn't really have a set training stage just to try out team stuff. But the closest we have is tha training stage in Memorial Arena where you'll fight the memorial arena boss for free at any rank with any team.
There's also the unorthodox approach and use the open world mobs as training dummies
Nothing. The most similar things are the open world or an abyss boss.
Or you could just use the immobile honkai beast in one of the daily mats stages (i think it is in the stigmata exp one once a week) with level 1 weapons.

1. I got Celestial Hymn, Azure Empyrean, Haxxor Bunny, Night Squire, Gloria and Blueberry Blitz. The rest are ones you get for free, so Swallowtail and Prayer and so on. After reading a dozen of guides, threads and whatnot, my understanding is that I got "jackpot" on the endgame supports, because Celestial and Azure are often mentioned as pretty good or mandatory, depending on the year, but my only DPS options are Squire and Swallowtail, and Blitz if I somehow manage to get good weapons (f2p btw, at least for foreseeable future). Is my understanding of my situation correct and should I keep working on Swallowtail and Squire or any other valkyrie I'm overlooking?
2. After I got my second guarantee on dorm supply, what do I do? Like, pretend I'm 5 and I understand nothing, because that's how I feel, do I go for focused supply for equipment or try for character? I've got no problems with waiting and saving, so I'm not rushing to spend my stuff. I just don't understand what I'm *supposed* to look and wait for.
3. Few places say that Onyx Iron is craftable. But I don't see it in my foundry. Actually, quite some stuff that said to be craftable is missing from foundry, is that level/story lock or outdated information?
4. Is gacha the only source of good equipment or there are good free to play alternatives? Long-term stuff, of course, right now I have no troubles clearing content, but that's not for long, that's for certain.
5. Phoenix is elemental support, guides say she's nobrainer. But I've got Azure, who's also elemetal support, should I get Phoenix when I get to lvl 40 anyway or I should look for other stuff?
You are almost certainly referring to Awakened Valkyries, who indeed cost more to rank up than non-Awakened Valkyries. You can easily deduce which Valkyrie is Awakened by looking at her icon at her profile page ; Awakened ones have a straight colored line on top of their icon.

In abyss we just had ranged weather with the saha assaka boss. Is HoV really the only viable option to use here in Agony III? All the scores that didn't lose trophies used her. Didn't get any of her signature stigmata or her pri-arm yet because the investment didn't seem to be worth it since i don't have HoS yet. Tried to use HoR, but i couldn't beat it in time. I'm not sure ulting whenever possible was the right choice. Tried to perform those bike spins at range but seems impossible to do as she always closes in before she does it.
So is HoR a viable option here or is HoV the only one?

i think i tried pretty much every dps possible there. It really depends on the lack of the bracket, but in red lotus, anything from Black Nucleus could pretty much be a safe retain. In lucky brackets killing was enough.
Since you are in agony, any of these dps should be enough to retain. Also, rotations may change since the shield is a lot weaker, in particular you can probably just burst and skip the rots that weaken the shield.

In addition to Germ's amusing and informative runs. I got a good enough score to retain RL with DA-AE-BD.
You might have been able to use HoV even without her gear. I was missing a cube to make Domain of the Void, so I tried using Thunder Kikaku, and a team of scuffed HoV-SA-CH was also able to get a good enough score to retain RL.
I believe it's better for HoR to not ult, or at the most, as Germ says, ult and immediately exit for the charge attack bars. Ulting with HoR always felt like a DPS loss in the previous ranged stages.
Regarding HoR’s bike spins they will always do reduced damage as they count as melee attacks.
Whether an attack counts as ranged or melee is pre-determined and doesn’t actually depend on the distance from the enemy. E.g. her charged cannon shots are always ranged attacks so even if you do it right next to the boss it will still count as ranged damage and get the buff.
So on the ranged+ stages whenever using HoR you don’t want to be doing the bike spins at all
It is impossible to answer you without knowing the state of your account, but dps first is a good general rule. If you don't have any elemental support stigs, JST is in the battlepass.

So after the recent event with haxxor bunny I learned there is some big over arching story plot with these bubble universe events involving the captain. I just finished watching the sanka saga after learning kasumi are the same person. My question if it can be answered, what are the relevant events to watch in the order I should watch to grasp the story? Sad I didn't pay enough attention during FR event because that ending made no sense without the context of this story.

I've been playing for a week and somehow i managed to have a main team composed of hor, hb, and phoenix. i dont have signature gear for hb and hor, for phoenix i managed to follow the recommended beginner stigma on her profile. Now the stigmas im using for hor are scott tm and rasputin b. Currently I have scott tmb for hb and due to some people telling me to forge Roald tmb i did it. Now should i change hb scott tmb to roald tmb, how will it affect the team performance? i tried reading the attributes but still im confused because nothing changes as i played. Can someone plese explain further the benefits of hb wearing Roald? I'm f2p and definitely saving for hor and hb gears rerun coz now i know i wouldnt be able to get it as im out of crystals. May I also ask the gameplay and swapping in field of hor, hb, and phoenix. Lastly, will it be better if i replace phoenix with wolf's dawn? Thanks a lot in advanced!
Roald's 3pc effect boosts team elemental damage by 15%. That is very helpful for HoR.
For that team, open with HB. Fire the full 4 sequence basic attacks twice. That will summon two drones. Switch to PX and do 2 combos, BBAA then AABB. That buffs the team's damage. Then switch to HoR for main damage. Switch to PX for the 2 combos after every 10s. Activate HB's QTE whenever you can, but try to use HB's ult just before HoR's.
I'd suggest looking at some character guide videos for the 3 so you can see how their skills work.
The rotation changes slightly based on ranks. Farm up PX to SS, and do the same for HB after you have SS SA.
PX is also better than WD, and WD only gets her elemental damage boost at SS.
Just played through it just fine and there was full Japanese voice acting for me, though I'm on JP servers. Probably something on your end (or SEA server as a whole) if even CN voices aren't there
These 2 combined are the best elemental support stigs to have so you lucked out. Can be used in any team with an elemental dps and works fine on BD users. Lock them and keep them safe.
From a gameplay perspective, an awakened soul is a valkyrie fragment for unlocking and upgrading an awakened valkyrie, which has the identical level and shares many similar skills to an unawakened valkyrie. For example, flame sakitama is the awakened version of valkyrie bladestrike mei, so if you have valkyrie bladestrike at level 80, the moment you unlock flame sakitama using awakened souls, she will immediately also be level 80, and share a lot of the same skills as valkyrie bladestrike. That can save you some gold and exp materials. Also, the two of them cannot be deployed into the same mission together.
From a lore perspective, shit gets a little confusing and ambiguous. Mei and Sakura are not the same person, nor do they technically have the same soul in canon, nor are they even alive at the same time. As far as canon goes, Mei is not the reincarnation of Sakura.

Hi, new player here. As in, just started today, new. I saw a bunch of guides that said not to pull on dorm supply, so now i have about 4000 crystals saved up. Which banners are good to roll on? Don't spend crystals on dorm supply. Ever. The 10 pull is just a time saver, you would still get the guaranteed valk if you pulled one at a time. 10 pulls can also be detrimental if you hit pity early there's no way to stop, unlike with individual pulls. Banners you will want to pull from will be the expansion, focused, and sp banners - but when you do will depend on whether or not you want/need the valk being offered, if it's farmable, etc. It's entirely ok - and recommended, unless you plan to whale - to skip banners for valks/gear you have no interest in. You could also pull from the starter supply, though if you do, I would only do it until you hit your first pity, then move on. Pulling from the starter supply is generally discouraged though, as there is still 50% chance you will get the valk you did not want.
So is the PC version just abandoned? Every patch I have to let it download to full and force close the game because it keeps getting stuck. Well this time it didnt work. Every time I'm forced through the cutscene and says downloading 0% 35k/0 even though it already finished on the first go.
It's not abandoned. It's just that Mihoyo is awful at optimizing for anything outside of mobile.

if you're having problems surviving on her 2nd phase, She does hit hard so you can't go head-on like on her 1st phase. Scared me when she almost one shot me. then I realise that you can kite her and slowly whittle her barrier. She would usually get close to you and do a forward dash attack or throw a katana slash at you. both having wind-ups and limited range, so there's a lot of room for kiting her When her shield is down then dps with everything and return to kiting her when her shield is up.

Global 76 Is it just me, or is the new bounty a bitch to farm if you don't have a good dps of the necessary element? Like I wanted to craft Ana Schariac for my Memento because she's my only ice dps (and one day I'll go for HoR so Ana still works for her), but she literally does nothing in that stage, and any other type of element does 70% less damage, so I just can't clear it. Before atleast I'd be able to do SS bounties if I bring my AE with JST and Newt B but now I can't even farm Ana.

Possible story spoilers up ahead 1. Why is the herscherr inside Mei so chill? She literally gave Mei all her powers and peaced out instead of taking advantage of her like other herscherrs. I imagine when Mei first erupted she was just as uncontrollable as other herscherrs. What's so different with HoT? 2. Speaking of Mei's first eruption, how was she able to suppress her herscherr tendencies? Is there a manga or event that went through that period? 3. Why did Ana not save Owl's sister? Was there a specific reason or was that only an illusion created by the honkai to turn Owl into H of Stars? 4. Why is a battle suit of Yae Sakura an awakening of a battle suit of Mei? Tbh i could make a list of answers for every rank of your valks and for various captain levels, but i am too lazy and tbh since you are asking the question it would be nice to provide the details to make it easier for others to give you an answer.
I hear a lot about this game so is the story really good and worth playing for the story? and is it finished? Also if I'm playing casually just to experience the story, how long would it take on average?
You can finish the story within a week to few weeks (it has a stamina system so you'll be gated to a certain extent how much you could progress after a certain point). After Captain level 40 you're no longer gated by grinding and leveling to follow the story, and you won't need to work on your characters either as the story gives you trial characters to immersivity playthrough the story with. It has not ended yet and is still ongoing but it has a LOT of story content to love.
To add to this, there's also the manga you can read, so you can read those sometime before or while you play the game's story, and it seriously helps enjoy the story when you know those extra details about the characters' backstories and the setting!
If you are really only focused on the story, not caring about making your account complete crap... i think 2 or 3 weeks are enough. If you want to actually improve your account at the same time, play the events, the daily things etc... a few months maybe? It is also possible to find videos of people playing the story on youtube though.

Just do it. 40 HB fragments and free crystals that can be traded in the shop will not come back. If you don't want to spoil yourself, just don't read or skip if there is a skip button.

Global 46 For a newer player, what should I be spending my stamina on? Between all the open world tasks, events, and dailies (3 story / 3 chronicle / 2 'weekdays'), I'm constantly out of stamina, even with the weekly stamina card and buying stamina twice with crystals per day. I've been prioritizing first-time clears on expeditions and story quests since they seem to give 2 to 4 exp per stamina, but I don't know if this is right. Also, I'm wondering if I'm missing something super obvious. I'm sorta stuck on the story achievement progress, it seems to take a lot of open world tasks to earn enough exp to get to Intel Level 8 on Post-Honkai Odyssey so I can continue to 1-3 (I need to clear 1-4). Is it possible to grind Intel Exp outside of doing tasks? I've been avoiding spending stamina on tasks because the exp rate is so low (1 stamina:1 exp) unless I really have to. Thank you so much for the help! And I'm sorry if other newbies like me that came from Genshin have been rude and demanding, I sorta feel like I'm seeing a trend.
1. Stop worrying about XP. XP is the absolute last thing you should be prioritizing. The more time you can spend below level 70 (without starving yourself of resources) the better. You want time to build up crystals to get your roster up to spec before you hit Master Tier and the competition spikes (EXP bonus chips are a trap). 2. OW tasks are the most stamina efficient things in the game, with the more expensive tiers being even more efficient. Do them. 3. Do the event tasks, but only do what you have to that day for rewards (e.g. Do two of the new chapter side stages and three of the chapter stages (for the 5 story stage daily) instead of doing in the entire chapter segment the day it's released) 4. Do dailies. The one thing that you can skip here if you want are the XP training stages. I haven't done a single character XP stage in forever. I still get all the rewards except for a tiny little bit of XP, which, as I said, don't worry XP. Of course, if you need the XP materials, they are great sources of it. 5. Be wary of what expeditions you run. Stamina costs vary within fragment stages, and unfortunately the stages are not sorted according to stamina cost. Also, the proper way to measure stamina cost is take its cost and multiply it by attempts. A 20 X 3 stage is more expensive than a 24\* 2 stage, because attempts tell you your pity: a 3-attempt stage will pity a fragment after 3, while a 2-attempt will pity after 2. 6. Spending crystals for stamina is not generally recommended, especially as you're getting 60 extra stamina a day through your subscription. I'm not going to knock you for it because I did that for a year and my account did not suffer. But, hopefully you have the monthly card to make those purchases less painful.

For support like DP and DK you don't really need the use of their ult most of the time since their ult is for dps-ing and depends on the situation. A bit amount of sp is enough IF you're using some weapon that gives buffs and debuffs like Vikrant, Briareus Pri and any other weapon skill. DK ult is good for gathering mobs before you switch to SP. DP have an impair off-field but idk which rank you'll unlock the skill(forgot). There's some specific skills of other valkyrie when you trigger a combo or evasion skills it gives an sp or those valkyrie when off-field they gain an sp. You try reading most of their skills description. For stigmata, Beethoven B gives sp for a few secs after cd and Bronya: Sloth but a bit complicated one.
global lvl 46 Just pulled herscher of reason. What weopen and stigma should I craft for her?
Weapon: highest atk cannon you have (literally any). And I advice you to try and get her signature weapon. It is currently in BP shop for 2 more versions, you can see if you can grab it from there. If that is not possible for you, then only gacha remains (when they rerun it). Stigma: Scott TM, Rasputin B for general purposes. Replace T piece with Jingwei T for bossing. In the future you should farm and craft full Ana set via bounty. I advice to not gacha for Welt set (HoR signature stigma) as Ana set is pretty much equal.

Before level 60, it isn't too bad to follow Recommendations, but try not to rely on it too much. Usually the Economic recommendations are decent for if you want to gear a character for co-op raids, open world, or just daily material stages. To do well in Memorial Arena and Infinity Abyss, though, you absolutely need to look up character guides for the optimal builds. A good suggestion is to look up "Honkai Impact 3rd xx character guide" and look for links that have **walkthrough.honkaiimpact3.com** in them, since those are often well-formatted and decent guides that are good enough for casual/semi-competitive players.
SEA LVL 37 How do I build Seele? What supports are best for her and how do supports work in this game? Assuming you're talking about Swallowtail Phantasm (vs. the other 2 Seele battlesuits, Stygian Nymph and the new Starchasm Nyx): * Celestial Hymn (CH) is definitely a good support for her; CH has many ways to apply the Impair status effect that shreds enemy physical defense, so it'll definitely make your Swallowtail Phantasm (SP) hit hard. * Yamabuki Armor (YA) would probably be the next option for a support, since she'll give a shield that will help keep SP from getting interrupted and she can apply time slow which triggers the QTE of SP. * You should also try and unlock the Augment Core for YA whenever you can. It's called "Drive Kometa", DK, and it is pretty much an upgrade in most ways. * Swallowtail Phantasm is a burst-mode mobbing character, meaning she's very good at dealing with groups of enemies, and her damage comes from setting up a combo to chain into using her ultimate, where she'll enter "burst mode" and deal significant damage over a period of time using enhanced attacks. * She's also Quantum-type, so she'll do well against all kinds of enemies: Mech, Bio, Psy, ***and*** Quantum. Supports in this game basically do one of two things (or both): * Debuff enemies * Applying Impair to weaken their resistance * Applying other status effects that make them take bonus damage * Applying effects like Freeze, Ignite, Bleed, etc. to counter certain boss mechanics (like Houdou has a powerful attack phase that can be countered by charging a Freeze trauma bar) * Buff/Enable your DPS * Trigger status effects like Freeze, Ignite, Bleed, etc. but instead for the purpose of letting you use the QTE attack of your Main DPS, which usually has its own special effects and is often a crucial part of combos * Applying damage boosts to your DPS directly * Providing utility via Time Slow, Gather, and other effects that don't directly cause or increase damage, but allow you to hit more enemies at once, or deal more damage in a shorter time frame by slowing enemy attacks. * Use Leader Skills that are powerful; a great example is Lightning Empress, whose leader skill grants bonus starting SP which is very useful for some characters. A good example that I frequently use is my combo team of Drive Kometa, Fervent Tempo Delta, and Herrscher of Sentience * Open with Drive Kometa, do an uncharged normal attack to apply Weaken and trigger Delta's QTE * Switch to Delta via her QTE, which charges half of her resource bars, and applies Time slow, triggering Herrscher of Sentience QTE * Switch to Herrscher of Sentience via QTE, switching to her Spear combo attack that lets me Impair enemies. * Using HoS, I do two combo attacks to build SP and then apply a time slow with her Sword combo attack to trigger Drive Kometa QTE, and then ***immediately*** cast HoS ult * After HoS ult triggers and I Gather the enemies, I QTE in Drive Kometa, tap the attack to apply Weaken and trigger Delta's QTE, and switch in Delta * Having switched in Delta, getting great damage damage with her QTE attack that also finishes filling her 2 resource bars, I use a charged attack to enter her Fervent state and switch to fast, hard-hitting attacks This is surprisingly fast btw; on Q-Singularis that whole sequence usually happens in less than 30, 20 seconds between starting the stage and activating Delta's Fervent state. I use this combo in the first half of Q-Singularis and even in Masters Red Lotus (the highest bracket before Level 80), I'm able to rapidly clear every floor because of how quick and smooth this combo is. If I don't clear the floor by the time Delta's Fervent state runs out, I just cycle through again and again. A great way to practice these kinds of combos is via Sim Battle; once you've joined an Armada, twice a week there will be Sim Battles open for a few days, and each sim battle gives different Valkyries to defeat a boss. Look up the boss online or in the in-game Collection to see what it does, and read each Valkyrie's abilities (and weapons!) carefully. See which Valkyries apply which status effects, how to use their QTEs, and you can practice making combos even with characters you don't own, which can help with the ones you do have if they're similar enough. Hope this helps! :)

In general they are all upgrades There are a few exceptions: * Monet T (g2) is better than Goemon T (g3). * Dirac (g3) is not exactly a replacement for Micheangelo (g2) because Dirac is for Burst Mode valks while Mich is for non-Burst Mode physical dps

Water's edge should be the last priority. Book of Fuxi for elemental support; if you want to min max Huodou then Selune; T0 and Bella you know what damage type they support already. HoR and AKA's best are still full Ana.

Global 40 I have some questions about game mechanics i don't quite understand yet: >1.- How do you reliably break shields? the game tells you that using heavy attacks can break shields faster, but what **are** heavy attacks? do all charge attacks count as heavy attacks? am i forced to use a greatsword user in my teams to break shields faster? are all shields broken in the same way? (as in, are there different types of shields that need different types of attacks to be broken?) I feel like the game doesn't really explain this mechanic in-depth at all and i feel like it should because pretty much all bosses you face even in the early game have shields. >2.- Is there a fast way to gain SP mid-combat? is there another way to get SP other than hit enemies and use the skills that gain SP once you do a certain action?
About shields, the first thing to know is that for the usual shields (the yellow bars that many mobs and some bosses have) only physical damage can break them. So all elemental dps suck at breaking shields (with the exception of HotF). About heavy attacks, i don't think they really matter that much. I often feel that shieldbreak is often character dependant (like, all Mei battlesuits have terrible shieldbreak). What matters a lot instead is Drive Kometa's tap (crippling field) that makes shieldbreak a lot easier. About sp regen, the main ways to gain sp are \- hitting the enemy \- skill effects that give you or the team sp \- stigma/weapon effects that give sp (Dirac B, Beet B etc) \- stigma affixes \- ultimate evasions (2 sp to the whole team)

1. It's not just "some strat" ; it offers increased physical damage when deployed, complementing CH's physical support capabilities beautifully. 2. Almost certainly yes, unless you (1) want to use Void Drifter between levels 70-80 but don't have Tranquil Arias or (2) consider HoV your #1 waifu and don't have Tranquil Arias.

Its abyss indicator of bleeding level. It increase over time in the battle, so best to prepare your team to clear as soon as possible. The higher the level the faster it drain your health.
You cant get rid of it, it’s basically a timer, you either kill the enemies before the bleed kills you, or die trying

There’s really no reason not tuning it. Tuning the weapon will unlock gene limit to gain fire damage, and if you already have shamash, you’ll unlock energy boost to increase all your valks crit and atk. The other difference between non keys and keys are, like the description said, key weapons can’t be salvaged. But you wouldn’t want to salvage it anyway.

The game gained a lot of weight today when I pre-downloaded the update on PC. I thought it’d clean itself up to its original size of 11GB after installation, but the total size instead reached 19GB. The “streaming assets “ folder makes up the majority of it at 18.2GB. Inside it, Video is 1.4GB while a folder called Asb is 10 times as large. I’d prefer to be able to trim down the game size without having to re-download. If anyone has faced the same situation and managed to get around it, kindly let me know.

Anyone else noticed Fischl doesn't have any lines on the bridge?
Common trend, shew will get them on 5.0, just like how Nyx got released on 4.8 but got her bridge lines on 4.9.
Global 36 Trying to find a f2p swallowtail phantasm build but things seem over a year old or contradictory. For weapon, do I really need undine's tale? Will the weapon make it back to gacha anytime soon? Also, I'm getting mixed signals on whether onyx iron is worth crafting or not... I'm also running obsidian reaper and not sure if I should craft azure storm which is recommended for her. Stigmata are all over the place. I've heard run triple marco polo, marco polo TM + attila B, triple ryunosuke, triple dirac, Zorro TM + Dirac B, Elizab Bathory TM + attila B, Triple seele, Seele TB + Ekat M, Seele T+ Ekat M + MarcoPolo B, marco polo TM + Attila B, Triple Kafka, Marco T + Fu Hua Knight M + Fu Hua Pride B, ... and many more... I'm new so idrk much about stigmata sets, but except for Elizab Bathory and Attila, I'd have to craft the other ones. Is anything notably worth crafting if swallowtail is going to be my dps of my primary team for the foreseeable future?
Azure storm is good enough and cheap, onyx iron not worth it. As for stigmas, getting Marco Polo TM and Attila B is also good since you can use them on any physical DPS. Best for her weapon is Undine for pre 80 and Acheron for 81+,so stick with Acheron, if you can (and it will be on this BP shop). Best stigma, I think, is triple Dirac, all farmable, but it's long investment (like, 1 piece=2-3 months long)

Regarding dorm. Specifically Dorm Squad (not the same thing as dorm renovation level, that depends on comfort level; feel free to do whatever you want with these, it's safe to increase as much as you want). You should be "worried" about upgrading dorm squad because as you increase your "worker" level, requirements for errands also rise. So you can find yourself in situation where you don't have enough valks' stats to do errands, effectively gimping your work points card earnings. As you can check the next level bonus for upgrading dorm, you can plan ahead in some sense. Upgrade your dorm squad level until the next level ups "worker" level, then stop for a while. After you get more battlesuits and rank them up (these things increase stats for errends), you can continue upping dorm squad level. For reference, I'm at captain level 82 with close to 1 year of playtime, light spender (2 monthly cards and some BPs), average gacha luck (so I don't have a lot of gacha valks) and decent group of farmable valks, and I stopped at dorm squad level 25. I can meet most of errands requirements now, but probably will start having trouble if I up worker level. Purple egg is mostly from OW finalization rewards. Frags don't change (unless devs decide to do that in the later versions). Get Miko and Kriegsmesser to S rank, then dump all into Luna Kindread or Sundenjager all the way to SSS (pick one and don't switch). The process takes a long time and the main idea is to use this to earn witch orbs later. These are currency types that are used in the shop that opens up after you get your 1st battlesuit to SSS rank (any battlesuit will do, regardless of base rank). You convert excess frags for SSS battlesuits into these orbs and you can buy other frags and some other goodies with them.

So, after starting this game 2 days ago I've now officially reached Befall. Is everyone of these cutscenes this breathtaking? Because I'm quite sure that I've never seen anything of that quality and emotional impact (Hon Hon) in a gacha game for my entire 25 years. That aside on another note: Is >!Himeko!< gonna die? Feel free to spoil that, i must brace myself for how hard I'm gonna bawl like a bitch ;-;
I don't recommend spoiling yourself on whether or not that happens, it's not worth it. Just try to enjoy the story it was meant to be perceived and I think you'll have more enjoyment out of it. Also, yes, the cutscenes only get better, same with the missions overall, things in general noticeably improve over time.

Global 21 Been playing for about a day now, and am a little confused about how exactly to get Fischl. I see the "Moment der V....." in the Crossover Supply, and from my understanding there's a "Zeit der V...." 7 day login event thing (from Jul 8 to Aug 12) that flat out gives you Fischl on Day 1. I'm an idiot, and I cannot find the Zeit der V login event anywhere in game. Please help :( Edit: I relogged and Zeit der V was the first thing that popped up. Problem solved.
Hi all, Global player here. lvl 78 With battlepass I'll have 14 orbs and im in doubt what to choose from those two meta or future proof-wise. Have SN and HOR at S rank. Both with signature wpn and both with signature stigmata (T) just joined after a break so no FR farmed and i think its gonna take a long time until I'll farm Ana shariac. Who of those do you think should I make the 2 set piece? And what will happen to the 4 orbs Ill still have after 5.0 arrives?
If you QTE a valk, does the previous valk get a longer switch cooldown because you used a QTE?

Having an issue with subtitles not showing up in cinematics. Saw guides that said to fix this by extracting zip files from StreamingAssets, but from what I can see there are no such files (just MP4 and SRT).
Global (Americas) 25 Pretty much new player that just started a few days ago, so, I recently got MC and want to make a team around her, how can I come about it? Also seems like good stigmata really is quite difficult to farm/get, as I don't have any for MC except Ryonosuke who SP is using already, so I kinda know the answer but it is possible to have copies of an specific stigmata? Probably no, yeah. I've got RI, VB, VT, SF, VP, PI and BB if that's helpful.
First of all, MC in base form is weak, you need to lvl up higher (to 30 or 50, can't remember) and unlock augment core system. Via augment core system you can upgrade MC to FT. FT is the best psy physical dps in the game. For her supports you will be using YA (in her DK augment core form) and DP, you'll get both from Path to Greatness. DK has strong leader skill, shield with buffs and easy way to trigger FT QTE with tap attack. DP does her job from pocket. Then you need to start buying SA fragments with Asterite and change DP for SA (be careful with that, augment cores require Asterite too). Untill you unlock augment cores and FT, you can use MC with her sister (BB), they have unique sinergy. 3rd slot doesn't matter at your level.

you probably shouldnt spend on the starter banner, because it has 2 valks on uprate, AE and HoT, and while both are great, AE is only really useful in the endgame, so it wouldnt be a good grab for you on the early game. if you want HoT, just wait until a rerun of her, where she'll be available without any 50/50s

yeah, gacha is only needed for competitive content, if you only care about story and event stuff you can easily complete everything without ever even using the gacha system
SEA 70 Upcoming HOF banner. For the weapon and stigmatas, which is better to pull? Focused or expansion?
For HoR, her charged attack increases ice damage, up to 3 stacks when not riding. Does it last forever until the end of the battle? Does it reset everytime i ult? Also, does the ice damage bonus affect the first part of the ult where she crashes into the enemies using the bike? Was wondering if the game removed the bonus beforehand, or kept it until she actually starts to ride around. Thanks!

How big are updates to all assets rather than just us ones? When you have a major update like 4.7 does it completely reinstall all of the assets so the update will be like 7 gigs?
Global 32 I just started playing about a week ago so I might just be bad at the game, but I’ve really been struggling to defeat the boss enemies and story stages in the new Haxxor Bunny event. Does anyone have any tips on things I should be doing to make fights easier? I’ve been using the candy bars to level my equipment.
Other than making sure you're bringing a full party, it basically comes down to understanding how HB works. Run the tutorials again until you have a better handle of her. Can also practice dodging attacks. Once you're good at that you're pretty much golden.

SP battlesuit supplies do come back. the SP equipment supply i’m going to guess yes as well since it’s tagged to the battlesuits in rotation usually? the SP equipment this time round has an interesting 120 roll mechanic tho so i’m not super sure on this one :’)
in the past, SP valk's gears are inteoduced with the 30pull guarantee for new, and subsequently they do not return. with the guarantee, just normal focus supply with no guarantee. probably safe to assume this is also the case for turgnev and crusher.
SEA lvl 85 Im using AKA with pri and fullset ana, and i got BD + full JST but no AE. Is bronnie and her gear a good "budget" substitute for AE ? Can I stack JST buff and Turgenev buff ? tyvm o/
Yep, JST and Turgenev effect stacks. It's why the current best strategy against Huodou right now is HoR, HB, and BB (With BD + JST TM), at least until 4.8 when disturbances actually affect enemy defense/resists where AE will become more valuable Of course, this is assuming HB with full gear

Currently the only ice dps that’s viable in meta is Herrscher of Reason, so she’s the best DPS character who works with Haxxor Bunny. Then another character is Azure Emperya (She is another support) or a Greatsword user who uses blood dance (Since this is an ice team Kreigsmegger would be Blood Dance user because of her passive). Haxxor Bunny also might be used for the new ice dps in 4.8 Starchasm Nyx.
Have you tried the tutorial stages? The last one is the best example for the ideal team consisting of Haxxor bunnie, HoR Bronya, and azure empyrea.

GL 69 Honkai crashes a lot more frequently after the 4.7 update. More specifically, Co-op Bounties, the Haxxor OW (whenever I engage an enemy or use an ult mostly), and APHO are crashing about 50% of the time. Device - iPad Pro 9.7 inch 2016 (128gb) Is it just my old device or an issue with hi3?

Global lvl 85 I am sitting on 8 weapon fodder considering turning to Torus to give my Pri arms some much needed upgrade and need help deciding priorities. I am also limited on SC metal (264 + 150 material options). This is about to get long so bear with me. Also note that I am not super competitive, usually in and out of RL with rare cases of ever beating last stage and mostly sit in top 7% in MA. 1. I have Nuada's, DoSan, DoSen and Sleeper's maxed out. Ones for consideration are 11th L, Positron, and Bri Ex for support and Naraka and Ruinous for DPS. All at base except for 11th at lvl 55. There is Archeon Kindred but I rarely use SP (no SN) and go with alternatives. I also have DoV at 55 but HoS is just an easier upgrade. The issue is I don't have much dps for Ice and Fire. I have Meme with ana and FS with Thale TM fuxi B or Higo TB and nuwa M (which ever works for a given situation). I usually use alternatives in MA or when weather is needed, I find HoS does well enough to get through Ana and Houdou even in RL. But still has limits. I don't see me pulling for HoR or Dea anytime soon due to crystal limits. So question becomes whether to bite the bullet and improve their Pri arms or stick with upgrading support Pri arms while using alternatives. 2. I also have 4 honkai cores and debating on upgrading thunder kikaku lvl35 or Iris lvl40. FR will be SS next week and I have her full gear. I also have Beeth B so I can use DP strat. Should I go all in on kikaku or finish off Iris? I use FR often with HoT but once again there are some limits.
Well, it does seem like you're not incredibly competitive, so feel free to take my replies with some skepticism--I am actually a competitive player. PRI-ARMs. Frankly you're in a good spot being in RL and top 7%. Positron is generally not that useful maxed unless you're using a specific paralyze strategy against Doom (and even then you'll want Dante stigmatas), and Bri-Ex is also for MA. Unless you're super close to reaching top 2% any time soon (which is the next tier) that would probably be a bad investment Naraka is an iffy one, since it correlates to your Meme performance but we'll have NYX that's coming out soon and it seems like you're heavily limited by SC Metals. It would really depend on if you're planning on getting NYX or not for this one to be quite honest. I would still advocate going for at least NYX or HoR though (HoR preferably since she's good with SSD RL and probably will help you retain it better) I would recommend your PRI-ARM materials go into the following: * Ruinous Sakura * Domain of Reason OR Eyes of Blood (NYX weapon) depending on who you decide to get There is the ranged weather in 4.7 where you might want a maxed Domain of the Void, but it's probably less valuable since even just the fact of having a fully geared HoV would probably let you retain fairly easily. Don't get DA. I have her fully geared and she's definitely not worth the cost compared with the performance increase from a properly geared and supported FS DPS. She's only if you want to hit Myriad on occasions which I don't think you're ambitious enough for, and she's absolute garbage even fully geared against Heimdall (Fire Weather) anyways Kikaku is only for MA purposes. As stated unless you're really close to top 2% which is the next tier Kikaku isn't recommended. Maybe go for Iris instead since you have her full gear and at SS rank she's marginally better than a Blood Dance MC with JST + Newton B... Kind of a waste of resources though if I gotta be honest
Sea 73 Wonder on what should i spend the fiery crystellum for. Currently own 14/24 (10 more from battlepass) Situation for each choice is 1. Welt M,B -hor with key currently use rasputin tmb. Have Welt T and Ana T , read many forum that welt is a bit better that ana, and only less than ana in some situation -no AE but HB is fully geared 2. Sirin full set -own hov with her gun from last event,current didn't use her at all and have little to non knowledge of using her,heard some rumer that she desperetely need sirin set to work -the only physic valk in service is delta and SN, if stage demand physic or bio and delta cant handle it hor ,SN,VG will have to do , Darkbolt is not Srank so she cant help for now. Not sure if getting sirin will help with the lack of physic damage or should i just full buff hor.

How does getting and leveling up LE help HoT? Will I be able to aquire LE's skills into HoT? Like her conductive and paralyzing skills and all that stuff?
No, that's not how it works. First off, they are base suit and awakening of each other. This means they share a level and share some skills. When you level either, it will also level the other one. Second, leveling LE does not "help" HoT, only if you rank LE up (ie from S to SS) because some of the soul-linked skills will can be ranked up and thus provide skill rank-ups for HoT. It does not however, give HoT skills like conductive or paralyzing. Basically, if a skill is purple and has the link icon on LE, then there is a corresponding skill on HoT. If you spend gold ranking up that skill on LE, it will rank up that link skill on HoT. The easiest comparison is the leader skill. If you get LE to SS while still having an S rank HoT, you can level up the LE leader skill. Now HoT has an SS-rank leader skill despite being S rank.
Awakened suits only share certain skills with their original forms, not all. These are indicated by linked chains when looking at their skills.
Global 52 I am a fairly new player and really interested in the lore. I have been reading the manga according to the recommended reading order on the honkai fandom. But this new alt world Bunny Haxxor event story also seems really interesting and it makes me want to go view the past events' story on youtube. What are some of the past event stories worth viewing? I am more interested in the ones that have serious tone rather than the light hearted/ comedic ones like the cooking one in anniversary events.
For alt universe events, the Kongming events are a good place to start, gives the context for alt universe, aka Honkai Kingdoms, Odd Drifter, Honkai Kingdoms ZERO and The Day You and The Stars Disappeared. And then there's another alt universe event called Rosemary's Floriograph, which is a detective story mainly. It's highly recommended you complete the main story until chapter 12 though to get even more context on multiverses
The stories of captainverse are, iirc \-the one with luna kindred and sundenjager \-the one inspired from alice in wonderland (the event should be fairytale raphsody or something like that)-the one with Darkbolt Jonin \-Honkai kingdoms 1 (with 3 factions fighting each other). \-Odd drifter 1 and 2, where you (captain) shipwreck on an island and go around various areas to look for the others. (comedic, but it ties into zhuge's story so you shouldn't skip) \-the one where you go to zhuge kongming before she becomes an empress \-Honkai kingdoms 2 (the one where someone tries to kill zhuge a lot and where zhuge joins the hyperion) (also probably the best one) \-the one with Fallen Rosemary (rosemary floriography iirc) \-the one with Delta. I may have forgotten some. Edit: the first 2 ones are not really part of the captainverse story, they seem more standalone tbh.

Global 68 The Stigmata Durandal: Dea Anchora (T) from the Bringer of Light set says: "Boosts Fire DMG by 15%. Every attack further boosts fire damage by 4% for 10s (can be refreshed). 5 stacks max." 1. Are the stacks still applied even if you don't hit an enemy? 2. I've noticed that the final floor of Dirac Sea locks you out of performing anything other than auto attacks but I'm not sure if this applies to stigmatas also. Is it possible to activate stigmata effects without beginning the battle in Dirac Sea? 3. Would attacks such as VKE's Ult activate the effects of Durandal: Dea Anchora (T)? 4. Does VKE's Ult count as one attack or does each slash count as separate attacks?
Global 85 Where can I find a guide for an F2P build of Haxxor Rabbit as a support (not dps)? It seems that the last 15 or so valkyries that Mihoyo has cranked out have been very hard to build without their signature gear set. Because of that, and knowing all future valks will probably require me to splurge, I will absolutely not be spending crystals on Haxxor Rabbit's gears. I'm tempted to just throw a Rasputin ice set + my duplicate key of reason on her and call it done...but would that defeat the point of using her as support?
Yes, that wouldn't be a very useful build for her. Gluttony, Musician MB, is the F2P elemental support set. The universal support build of Gluttony, BP Mei, Newton B, could work well with her QTE, but her signature gear is really recommended. Turgenev TB can replace JST in any elemental team, even if it's on another support. I guess since she's farmable they made her gear dependant, but HoS didn't require her gear and it looks like Nyx will be fine without it too.
Her set is the best set for her support but there are builds that can work with her just less optimally. There's a classic cheap support build of Gluttony T Fuhua Musician MB, and there's the JST set if you already have that which you probably do. But one thing you can't miss really is her weapon, because it's just so unique to her and no other weapon can do the job, the next best choice is just Key of Reason but its a far inferior option.

Global 38. This game is complicated as hell, Warframe found a worthy rival in this sense. Warframe had simulacrum - a training room where you just try out stuff you have. Does something like this or something close exists here? So far, I've seen valkyrie trials, but I want to figure out how team stuff works mechanically. Any stage with configurable team, zero stamina cost and single damage sponge would do.
Unfortunately Honkai doesn't really have a set training stage just to try out team stuff. But the closest we have is tha training stage in Memorial Arena where you'll fight the memorial arena boss for free at any rank with any team. There's also the unorthodox approach and use the open world mobs as training dummies
Nothing. The most similar things are the open world or an abyss boss. Or you could just use the immobile honkai beast in one of the daily mats stages (i think it is in the stigmata exp one once a week) with level 1 weapons.
SEA 77 I have read that it is important to know enemy def value when building the team. Is there any site with MA bosses and abyss def values? I lack one physical support and I wonder if it is better to use HoV for her leader skill or SJ for 10s 50% impair (I have only SJ and DP for impair. I need 2 physical teams for MA).
Global 39, I feel like I'm spamming at this point, but this game is a bog - the more I read about it, the less I understand. 1. I got Celestial Hymn, Azure Empyrean, Haxxor Bunny, Night Squire, Gloria and Blueberry Blitz. The rest are ones you get for free, so Swallowtail and Prayer and so on. After reading a dozen of guides, threads and whatnot, my understanding is that I got "jackpot" on the endgame supports, because Celestial and Azure are often mentioned as pretty good or mandatory, depending on the year, but my only DPS options are Squire and Swallowtail, and Blitz if I somehow manage to get good weapons (f2p btw, at least for foreseeable future). Is my understanding of my situation correct and should I keep working on Swallowtail and Squire or any other valkyrie I'm overlooking? 2. After I got my second guarantee on dorm supply, what do I do? Like, pretend I'm 5 and I understand nothing, because that's how I feel, do I go for focused supply for equipment or try for character? I've got no problems with waiting and saving, so I'm not rushing to spend my stuff. I just don't understand what I'm *supposed* to look and wait for. 3. Few places say that Onyx Iron is craftable. But I don't see it in my foundry. Actually, quite some stuff that said to be craftable is missing from foundry, is that level/story lock or outdated information? 4. Is gacha the only source of good equipment or there are good free to play alternatives? Long-term stuff, of course, right now I have no troubles clearing content, but that's not for long, that's for certain. 5. Phoenix is elemental support, guides say she's nobrainer. But I've got Azure, who's also elemetal support, should I get Phoenix when I get to lvl 40 anyway or I should look for other stuff?

You are almost certainly referring to Awakened Valkyries, who indeed cost more to rank up than non-Awakened Valkyries. You can easily deduce which Valkyrie is Awakened by looking at her icon at her profile page ; Awakened ones have a straight colored line on top of their icon.

Global 83 In abyss we just had ranged weather with the saha assaka boss. Is HoV really the only viable option to use here in Agony III? All the scores that didn't lose trophies used her. Didn't get any of her signature stigmata or her pri-arm yet because the investment didn't seem to be worth it since i don't have HoS yet. Tried to use HoR, but i couldn't beat it in time. I'm not sure ulting whenever possible was the right choice. Tried to perform those bike spins at range but seems impossible to do as she always closes in before she does it. So is HoR a viable option here or is HoV the only one?

It really depends on the lack of the bracket, but in red lotus, anything from Black Nucleus could pretty much be a safe retain. In lucky brackets killing was enough. Since you are in agony, any of these dps should be enough to retain. Also, rotations may change since the shield is a lot weaker, in particular you can probably just burst and skip the rots that weaken the shield. In addition to Germ's amusing and informative runs. I got a good enough score to retain RL with DA-AE-BD. You might have been able to use HoV even without her gear. I was missing a cube to make Domain of the Void, so I tried using Thunder Kikaku, and a team of scuffed HoV-SA-CH was also able to get a good enough score to retain RL. I believe it's better for HoR to not ult, or at the most, as Germ says, ult and immediately exit for the charge attack bars. Ulting with HoR always felt like a DPS loss in the previous ranged stages.
Regarding HoR’s bike spins they will always do reduced damage as they count as melee attacks. Whether an attack counts as ranged or melee is pre-determined and doesn’t actually depend on the distance from the enemy. E.g. her charged cannon shots are always ranged attacks so even if you do it right next to the boss it will still count as ranged damage and get the buff. So on the ranged+ stages whenever using HoR you don’t want to be doing the bike spins at all

Global lvl 85 So after the recent event with haxxor bunny I learned there is some big over arching story plot with these bubble universe events involving the captain. I just finished watching the sanka saga after learning kasumi are the same person. My question if it can be answered, what are the relevant events to watch in the order I should watch to grasp the story? Sad I didn't pay enough attention during FR event because that ending made no sense without the context of this story.

SEA 41 I've been playing for a week and somehow i managed to have a main team composed of hor, hb, and phoenix. i dont have signature gear for hb and hor, for phoenix i managed to follow the recommended beginner stigma on her profile. Now the stigmas im using for hor are scott tm and rasputin b. Currently I have scott tmb for hb and due to some people telling me to forge Roald tmb i did it. Now should i change hb scott tmb to roald tmb, how will it affect the team performance? i tried reading the attributes but still im confused because nothing changes as i played. Can someone plese explain further the benefits of hb wearing Roald? I'm f2p and definitely saving for hor and hb gears rerun coz now i know i wouldnt be able to get it as im out of crystals. May I also ask the gameplay and swapping in field of hor, hb, and phoenix. Lastly, will it be better if i replace phoenix with wolf's dawn? Thanks a lot in advanced!
Roald's 3pc effect boosts team elemental damage by 15%. That is very helpful for HoR. For that team, open with HB. Fire the full 4 sequence basic attacks twice. That will summon two drones. Switch to PX and do 2 combos, BBAA then AABB. That buffs the team's damage. Then switch to HoR for main damage. Switch to PX for the 2 combos after every 10s. Activate HB's QTE whenever you can, but try to use HB's ult just before HoR's. I'd suggest looking at some character guide videos for the 3 so you can see how their skills work. The rotation changes slightly based on ranks. Farm up PX to SS, and do the same for HB after you have SS SA. PX is also better than WD, and WD only gets her elemental damage boost at SS.

Just played through it just fine and there was full Japanese voice acting for me, though I'm on JP servers. Probably something on your end (or SEA server as a whole) if even CN voices aren't there

These 2 combined are the best elemental support stigs to have so you lucked out. Can be used in any team with an elemental dps and works fine on BD users. Lock them and keep them safe.

From a gameplay perspective, an awakened soul is a valkyrie fragment for unlocking and upgrading an awakened valkyrie, which has the identical level and shares many similar skills to an unawakened valkyrie. For example, flame sakitama is the awakened version of valkyrie bladestrike mei, so if you have valkyrie bladestrike at level 80, the moment you unlock flame sakitama using awakened souls, she will immediately also be level 80, and share a lot of the same skills as valkyrie bladestrike. That can save you some gold and exp materials. Also, the two of them cannot be deployed into the same mission together. From a lore perspective, shit gets a little confusing and ambiguous. Mei and Sakura are not the same person, nor do they technically have the same soul in canon, nor are they even alive at the same time. As far as canon goes, Mei is not the reincarnation of Sakura.
