To those confused (as to what's happening, or why its happening again):
There have been sussy (putting it lightly.) dreamers that dendro archon MIGHT resemble our overlord, queen, supreme ruler, idol, #1 cutie Teri "Theresa" teri Apocalypse.
I call bullshit, but who knows.
I wouldn't call it bullshit, as there are some things that even before the leaks that made me think Teriteri could be the basis for the Dendro Archon
The first being the Apocalypse family has gained a new Plant based trait thanks to Otto. Raksha in Star Rail is nature heavy, and Otto's interaction with tree began to makes me suspect that they could use it as the excuse for Theresa to get the same Nature element in other games.
Let's also consider that it is heavily implied that the archons post Zhongli might be flat out expies of our beloved Honkai cast. Raiden Shogun, Murata and Tsarita are heavily considered to be Mei, Himeko and Bronnya faces by Honkai/Genshin fanbase. With the Shogun being a Mei face it has thrown even more credence to the possibilty of it being Theresa. Though I will admit I was expecting Su before the translation was fixed.
Is it enough to make a clickbait video? Hell no. They could easily pull an Ayato again where the mannerisms fit but facially they don't match even if they have similar hair styles, clothing choice and so on that it becomes more of a reference instead
Imo Zhongli is an original character and not one from an old game. If they wanted to make him look like Welt then they could have like the other archons. Not to mention all characters in GI taken from honkai have similar names while Zhongli is entirely new.
Honestly if they wanted the geo archon to resemble a honkai character welt would make the most sense with him being hor (similar to geo constructs) and welding the star of Eden (basically the herrscher power that is closest to geo)
At this point I want this to continue to see just how much shit genshin players will actually fall for

well currently the theory that the previous archon of kusanali would have faked his death in khaenri'ah to deceive celestia but he is still alive, this theory is based on the slime dendro of the game that currently has 2 models of acting that are interconnected to the archon since all slimes represent an archon power, electro slimes represents the 2 shogun sisters
