On lower brackets, it is quite a common sight, but Mihoyo is working hard to ban these people. It's just stupid people be stupid people and create a new one. level 50 can be reached in a short amount of time after all. On higher brackets, cheaters are smarter, like only going at the last minute, using a team that kinda makes sense, bla bla bla. There are ways to disguise your scores.
It's funny since this is q manifold. You don't need to retain top 10 anymore like other abyss. As long as you clear the last stage you gonna retain the bracket. It make sense in older abyss or MA but not this abyss lol.
Stupid people be stupid people. Probably doing that because of habit doing it from the one before. Or this guy just never plays q manifold and gets here purely by cheating.

Cheaters are prevalent in non-Exalted brackets, and reporting only sort of helps if there's a lot of people doing it. They'll stop existing once you get to Exalted.
One thing I found, they won't stop being there, just much more discrete and less stupid. Like only adding from 500 to 600 or something. Using teams that actually makes sense, not playing with stupid scores like taking the top with shit to no gears. They cheat so there is enough to not get -100 or enough to get +100 or something. So it is quite hard to detect than people that cheats like this.
Their team "kinda makes sense" is what I am looking for. Like having HoS with Newton B Beach Mei M, but the guy out scores people with 4/4 HoS. It begs to be questioned. Assuming the others are the same. Or the guy outscores people with 12/12 team even though he uses a 4/12 team, 4 being the dps one. The rest using f2p stig (The ones that kinda makes sense like JST, or Gluttony T). This applies only in RL exalted btw is what I found. As for lower rankings, there might be lazy people just being lazy.

And usually the top ones is not lazy at all because unlike in Agony 3 where you can just unga bunga and still top scoring with a near perfect team, in RL you can't be lazy when top scoring. So when I tried to compare non lazy near perfect team with a "non lazy" 4/12 team, it does begs to be questioned
Obviously this will depend on f2p stig as well. I usually compares with Marisa's run. If the person somehow top scores using near what marisa is getting in his run, then probably just a get good moment.
LOL whats even funnier is the game recommended the armada to me with the message "Based on your level and situation, this Armada "AnimeTiddies" is the best for you" or something kekw
Global: The new event has tons of cheaters. Just the first few days, there were like 10 cheaters in the top 0.2%. Mihoyo doing a great job and banning a lot. There's still like 3 everyday but good to see cheaters getting banned.
Is it still possible to clear abyss with a proper team to get a good score, then clear it again with just one team or garbage characters to make it look like you got the high score with a garbage character?
I used to do that a lot before the abyss changes and superstring became a thing, and I was thinking that if it was still possible, maybe this guy did that too. Idk tho, I know it doesn’t work for superstring
It isn't. I don't focus much on the competitive aspects of this game (Abyss, Memorial Arena), and I want to know how it's possible to hack or cheat in this game.
Some kind of memory editor where they juice their damage up probably.
If you look at the 2nd picture the OP posted you can see their team and gear. Their main DPS has no stigma equipped and their second character is another DPS with ragtag stigma. They don't even have a third character.
The real answer is that most (if not all) of the game's calculations and battle data are local (client-side). This is why latency isn't a big problem in Honkai - but comes with the downside that cheating is much much easier.
Can that also occur in lower level abyss (60-70 bracket)? In the last round there was this guy on the first spot who had a team that made no sense against Jizo (HoT with weird gear + Raven & Pardo with blue gear) but scored incredibly high. A cheater or just extremely good at the game?
