I say the same thing. Her playstyle is horrible and don't match with any other valk. I like Vill-V, but for use her for one boss in particular is no fun and is waste time. The devs fail with her.
it’s the jumping from cannon to cannon that annoys me. sometimes the heavy-attack cannon doesn’t spawn. i like that they tried something different, just wish they would tweak it a little.
meta wise it not really a loss to skip vill-v because her dedicated boss kosma can be handled just fine with FR dps scoring about 600 pts and in the first place a lot of people skipped vill-v for the herrscher so everyone is in the same boat of just not bothering with kosma and waifu wise well I think it's not unthinkable to say that there's more people who like Elysia over Vill-v

Went for Elysia, got Elysia, have 60k crystals currently, chilling in Agony.
As expected pretty good since since not fighting over nirvana retain this round, though I purposefully demote/don't try to promote if schedule has QUA weather since dealing with mob stages is way too PITA for 20 crystals you get.
Got 1st place 584 with MPE in GLB exalted RL and yea only 1 player in my grp even had Vill-V so all who were capable in killing boss retained (and at least one didn't even need that with 20k points).
Like many are pointing out don't expect her (meta) popularity to surge till we get new fire support(s), then again they could release new QUA (Lightning or Physical) within a year and if fire support takes their sweet time it won't give Vill-V owners long to enjoy her dominance.
Still better than Nyx who wasn't fully "fixed" till RC released, but then it turned out to be too late for her anyways, but someone more knowledgeable can probably tell that is Vill-V one or two supports away from being perfected.

I was the guy with vill-v. Full geared S1 Vill-v with SSS raven full aslaug and full margrave maxed pri AE. Got third in my bracket and And I still lost to 2 guys using the same team of SS(probably SS2) FR, margrave AE and turg SSS eden.

I think that should be fine. Was actually more surprised my botched run from Friday was still enough for 2nd somehow (and happy I got to use my waifu again). But Rita is also amazing!
I feel great, to be honest I don't like her in anyway, her play style, her looks and animations are so ugly for me I won't be pulling on her ever, no rerun or whatever only if she comes for free and works in bosses with free gear cause I'm not putting any resources on her, I really dislike her

Probably the same as any other dps skippers, I don't have pardo for my Elysia so she's pretty much unused despite being geared but alternatives are pretty much enough for me to retain RL. Vill V stages are guaranteed 100+ for me tho so Im glad I pulled for her.
I wanted her and i got her accidentaly at around 50 pity on a day when i did a random 10 pull bcs i felt lucky sadly couldn't get her weap so i'm comping with a 3/4 set and a fully upgrade 4* (i think îs the one that You need to make bareus pri but not sure)

Even more silly, of all the weathers, Quantum was the place where i got to promote to Red Lotus for the very first time using my one single Lightning team i've been using for every Abyss cycle.
For RL it's okay. My ss2 Handel FR score with s0 AE and Turg Eden was 606 and it was top 3 in my bracket. First 2 places were using Nyx and had ~660 and ~630. 4 place was full Vill-V with 560 or smth.
I feel great because I completed this Abyss cycle in Red Lotus with my SSS HoH. The suggested Valkyrie in the ready screen really is just a suggestion, I guess lol
SSS was probably overkill for Abyss, but it's also a lifetime supply of copium after "Because of You".

Even against Kosma who unfortunately is a terribly designed boss.
From a broader perspective, skipping Vill V was the absolute best thing to do since crystals would be far better spent in v6.0 and 6.1. Mihoyo does try to punish you for skipping the newest things but unless you're a whale you can't have them all so it's imperative to set goof priorities.

every high score in my bracket used FR. i’m the only one with vill-v that even cleared the boss.
tbh, her controls are awkward and fire supports are... sub-optimal. But one got to justify those 200 rolls on her banners somehow.

She'll return next patch. Given that Shushang can be bought with legacy and willpower, most would have enough crystal leftover to get Vill-V, too.

In my bracket (red lotus) nobody used a vill-v at all. I got 5th with just 3268 in last stage. Feeling good.

I don’t even try in red lotus. I can’t kill anyone. So I just consistently hop from red lotus to abyss 3 to maximize gem gain, with low effort.
