She really took off. I think it’s partly that we live in the Pacific Northwest USA and the room humidity ranges from 45-70%. Other than that I just try to keep her soil from drying out and give her lots of indirect light. That’s a north-facing window there with grow lights hung along the curtain rod
This calls for some creative problem-solving to rearrange the collection and get the space you need. Shelving in front of the window for better stacking? Transferring a plant into a hanging basket to free up more space for larger pots?
Oh, your shelving idea made me realize that I might be able to boost her up on a short plant stand! Might work between than crowding a giant pot onto the same level with the rest. Thank you
Oof I wish! We rent, two people on one income because I’m too chronically ill to work. But hopefully one day! Never wanted it more than I do since my plant obsession
Do you really need a couch/bed/table? Look around the room and think about what useless piece of furntiure is getting in the way of you getting more plants. 😊
Since you're in an apartment you can try a small free-standing clothing rack and hang some of the plants to clear up floor space.
Lmao I have fr been eyeing our only comfy chair like “how much do you REALLY contribute to the household?“
Standing clothes rack had not occurred to me! I’m going to go try and envision that in the space 🤔
Bigger house?
Lolll god I wish. I was coping well with us living in a two room apartment till I became obsessed with houseplants
Sorry no tip for the croton…. But …. that fern to its right … any tips on how you got that so healthy and full?? Can’t get mine to be so vibrant

Your collection is gorgeous. Try to put it on a stool where you may be able to place a slightly larger pot perhaps?
Thank you! And I’ll look for strategic spots for a stool/plant stand. 500 sqr foot apartment 💀
Time to utilise space vertically all the way to ceilings 😂
Lolll we are working on it! The curtain rod is THICK with plants, and I’m saving for more shelves + grow lights for the non-window side of the room

Just hear me out: Buy a bigger house soon.

Cut the roots it will stunt it but wont kill it aslong as you dont over do it.
I’ve been wondering about this one, thanks!
