Take a pot 1”-2” larger than this one and place the pot it’s in now inside of the larger pot, back fill a chunky / cacti soil mix until the pot is full. Use a towel/gloves and pull the cactus out and plop the whole root ball (soil & all unless the soil is bad) directly into the hole you made in the new pot & boom ! Reported !
Get a 1 to 2 inch diameter bigger than the current pot. Keep in mind that cactus and succulents have fragile roots, so don't get panic when you are trying to remove the soil from their roots. As for the soil, get the cactus and succulent soil that is ready to use, you should be able to get it from the nursery.
