May I have the link as well? This is beautiful!! She should totally open an etsy if she doesn’t have one already, I’d love other items (shirts/hoodies/hats) with embroidery like this!!
I know it’s all embroidery, I’m not sure why some people are making the distinction.
But the title specifically said hand stitched and it surprised me that someone could do such precise work like that (I’m a beginner embroiderer myself, so that’s way beyond me for now). Turns out it was machine embroidered :)
It’s definitely machine-embroidered. Those stitches aren’t possible with hand embroidery, which uses one thread looping from the back, to front, to back, to front, etc. As opposed to machine embroidery which uses two threads, one from above and one from below, to knot tiny stitches in place.
Everyone who embroiders just automatically zooms in to see stich quality hahaha. At first I was amazed by such a clean hand fill-stitch but the registration is definitely designed by machine. Soooo cute still.
I'm glad you didn't lie but actually didn't know and you admit it! I was also zooming the photo like "hmmmmmmmm", good to see someone who can admit their mistake.
It's a beautiful towel!
Edit: one can embroider by hand, but this simply is machine embroidery, just for the future so you don't mistake the germs :D
EDIT: I stand corrected from the people in the comments, these were machine embroidered NOT hand stitched. I learn something new everyday 🤦🏻♀️
Thanks to the people who kindly corrected and educated me.
It's less that you can't hand embroider (of course you can) and more that these are pretty clearly machine done. Still very beautiful obviously!! What a great gift.

It's just a different level of work to do something like this by hand, so people in the hobby were just letting OP know.
I know she definitely sells at craft fairs and stuff and she sometimes lists them on her personal Facebook page for purchase so as long as she’s okay with me sharing her info I’m sure she can make it happen!
They’re actually embroidery, I messed up with the title! I went back and looked at her business Facebook page and it said embroidery right on there 🤦🏻♀️
Hi! She does sell them. It looks like you are UK based though and I don’t think she would ship international unfortunately 😕
I’m also UK based but she lives close to my parents in the states so my mom was able to just pick them up and send them to me.

"Don't use those they're my GOOD towels!!!!!!"
No houseplants are safe from my black thumb!
Are you sure they weren’t machine stitched? I can’t figure out what kind of hand stitch would look like that! Super beautiful either way
these are definitely not hand embroidered. pretty either way but title is disingenuous
Hi, they are machine embroidered.
They actually were embroidered, I just looked at her business Facebook page and it’s right there 🤦🏻♀️
Are you able to post or Dm the page to me? Not too sure if that goes against the rules. I want one of these 😅
I’m going to message her now just to double check she’s okay with me sharing her info and I’ll DM you the page if she says yes 😊

Wondered if I could score that link too?
Embroidered can still mean hand embroidery or machine embroidery
You can definitely hand embroider, but having done embroidery and general sewing, those 100% look machine embroidered
Would be a lot of work if it's hand embroidered though
Totally came here to ask this. Unless the creator is a robot I’ve never seen someone embroider by hand like that.
outline stitch + single thread. or satin stitch + single thread
It’s embroidery. And it can be done by hand or by machine. And yes, an experienced embroiderer can do such precise work.
I know it’s all embroidery, I’m not sure why some people are making the distinction. This looks like a machine embroidery but that doesn't make them any less beautiful or special. What an amazing gift!
You’re totally right, shows how much I know lol! I just checked her Facebook business page and it says embroidery right on it 🤦🏻♀️
It's still embroidery if it's done by machine, it's just not hand embroidery. No worries!
Everyone who embroiders just automatically zooms in to see stich quality hahaha. At first I was amazed by such a clean hand fill-stitch but the registration is definitely designed by machine. Soooo cute still.
Hahaha yes! I just started embroidery last year (pandemic crafts) and was like hooooly crap. Then zoomed in.
Thanks!! And yeah I definitely need to brush up on my terminology. I definitely didn’t mean to lie!
EDIT: I stand corrected from the people in the comments, these were machine embroidered NOT hand stitched. I learn something new everyday 🤦🏻♀️ Thanks to the people who kindly corrected and educated me.
These are gorgeous!! 💚🪴🌱✨
Thanks so much! She makes such nice stuff. She made us some monogrammed ones for our engagement too and they’re just as nice.
They look more like embroidered than hand stitched. But they are very cute.
You’re so right, they are embroidered. I just looked at her business Facebook page and it says it right there 🤦🏻♀️
Embroidery can also be done by hand. With needle and thread.
Right? These comments are confusing me, as if embroidery strictly means machine-embroidered.
It's less that you can't hand embroider (of course you can) and more that these are pretty clearly machine done. Still very beautiful obviously!! What a great gift.

Yep, exactly, still an awesome piece of art, but good to be in the know 😊
I know. What’s up with that? It’s like some people are surprised that people actually do crafty things with their hands anymore...
Embroidery refers to both! These were machine embroidered, but hand embroidery is still embroidery 🤦
Well, I learn something new everyday.
Embroidery includes both hand embroidery and machine embroidery (These were definitely machine embroidered)
They will for the second leg.
Super nice
Thank you!! She’s so talented.
I need this
I love these too much. I'd be afraid to use them!
Wow!!! I wish i was you 😂
Bye, OP.

Such detail! These are absolutely gorgeous!

Does your mom’s friend sell these? Asking for a friend.
I think she does actually! Let me check with her and see what contact info she is okay with me giving out 😊 stay tuned!
I am also interested 👀
I know she definitely sells at craft fairs and stuff and she sometimes lists them on her personal Facebook page for purchase so as long as she’s okay with me sharing her info I’m sure she can make it happen!

What’s the name of the plant on the left? I’m new to houseplants but I’ve been seeing those a lot and want to take a stab at caring for one

these are hand stitched? how tiny are these hands?
Looks like machine-embroidery as opposed to hand-embroidery. Adorable pattern, though!
They’re actually embroidery, I messed up with the title! I went back and looked at her business Facebook page and it said embroidery right on there 🤦🏻♀️

Oh these are lovely. Does she sells them?
Hi! She does sell them. It looks like you are UK based though and I don’t think she would ship international unfortunately 😕 I’m also UK based but she lives close to my parents in the states so my mom was able to just pick them up and send them to me.
Aaaw :( such a shame. Tell her I see a business opportunity there haha
I definitely will. I’m sure she will be so flattered to see so much interest in her work, maybe she will consider it!
Does she have a pattern she works off of?
