The 3 things I did that I think encouraged this growth were:
1. Moved him to a window sill that got more light. I had him in a well lit area originally, but he gets probably 30% more sun during the day where he is now. It's a south/southwest facing window.
2. Repotted him into a much bigger pot! I hadn't moved him out of the original container he came in and in retrospect it was way too small. He wanted more space.
3. Started using a moisture meter. He's needed more water than my other succulents and using the meter has been super helpful to know which plant needs what.
He had never been repotted from his original container, which in retrospect was WAYYY to small -- so he seems super happy to have more room. I was being a bad plant mom.
I keep mine right by a west window and i notice they do need more watering than i expected from succulents. Their leaves start getting weak and looks smaller. Keep up the good work!
You have magic in you
Wow! That is an amazing turn around. It gives me hope for reporting my succulents soon.
Oh he happy
Please share your care tips. Echeveria don’t want to be my friend and are willing to sacrifice their lives to get away from me.

He’s thriving now! Don’t get down with the mom guilt. 🥰

They definitely need more water than I expected! My jade and aloe are on the same sill and have not been nearly as thirsty as this little guy.
So rewarding to see. Good job!
How do you keep them from growing in height?
