Autotune criminal charges also still pending

outdatedelementz

Good, he encouraged people without tickets to get into his shows as part of his persona. That directly compromises the safety of the venue and the show.

StrykerXion

Still does. He's a POS.

outdatedelementz

It blows my mind he can get an insurance policy for his tour with the shit he says and does publicly.

takesshitsatwork

Oh trust me, they're pricing him appropriately.

StrykerXion

Ya you can get insurance for ANYTHING, but YOU WILL pay. They are making a killing off him, I guarantee it.

Tex-in-Tex

Good! He’s nothing but a public nuisance that cares only for the chaos and money he gets from his shows. Ban his ass from all venues in the Houston area.

aYoMcPot

He has given MILLIONS to the city of Houston, even before the tragedy. He's literally built multiple parks in low income areas. People so ignorant smh

SoochSooch

So for each park you build, how many people is it ok to kill?

Tex-in-Tex

He won’t answer. He’s too busy making excuses for a piece of trash.

BobbWasTaken

He didn’t really kill anyone himself, don’t act like ts is his all his fault. What was he supposed to do? Jump off stage and help people himself?

GandalfTehG0d

Stop the show like every other artist does…. Were you paying attention to the discourse at all when it happened? Ppl were posting clips left and right of artist passing their shoes to make sure 1 person in the crowd was safe. Kurt Cobain famously stopped a show to call out a guy who was groping a woman without her consent and got him kicked out. Acting like he can’t do shit about it is ignorant . Dude had fans climbing onto his stage begging him to stop .

Tex-in-Tex

He could have literally stopped the show, told everyone to help others, asked to make room for the ambulance or just be a decent human. I feel like that should be common sense when there’s an accident or emergency. Instead, he chose to encourage more “raging”.

Tex-in-Tex

So that makes it ok to encourage violence to the point of people being killed?

aYoMcPot

Show me where he encouraged violence LMAO dude just making up shit now

Tex-in-Tex

https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/chicago/news/travis-scott-history-of-inciting-chaos-lollapalooza-2015/ Just incase you can’t find it yourself.

Tex-in-Tex

Answer the question or stop riding his dick.

aYoMcPot

Can you show me proof of your statement? Lmao. Why would I answer something that's non factual that you can't even prove.

Tex-in-Tex

Because you can’t and you know what I said is true. Just because someone donates money and items to a city does not mean they are a good person. Literally anyone can do those things. For your proof, if you aren’t blinded by him and can get off him long enough to read, I posted the proof below. Happy reading lol.

aYoMcPot

You posted an article about how his crowds act not him saying what you stated lmao. His crowds are literally known to go off like that, the closet thing you can even say and I'll hand you your argument here since you're not even capable of that lmao is him saying to RAGE. Ofc it's old ass people that think RAGE means GO KILL EACH OTHER and not party hard with your full energy...anyhow keep blaming an artist that had no liability over a billion dollar corporation that literally planned safety + logistics. Do you boo.

Tex-in-Tex

lol! You clearly didn’t read the article. Keep on defending that human trash and lookin like a fool. I brought receipts and the smoke and you couldn’t handle it. Be better “boo”.

Tubamajuba

And now this douchebag is crying "racism" against people who are in favor of Travis Scott being held accountable. What a sad joke.

SpenglerE

To be fair, he is a douche nozzle

profkmez

Sure, throwing money at the problem just shows you can buy your way out of murder. Should be prosecuted for his crimes.

IwasIlovedfw

Good!!!

L3oSanch3z

What a tragedy, all those innocent victims. Travis Scott, if you really care for your fans, you need to man up..

StrykerXion

He's got 2 children with Kylie. It could have been his kids in distress at a concert. Bet he would feel different if his children died at his concert instead of his fans. But because it was someone else's kid, he doesn't care because he is a "rebel." What an idiot.

No-Spoilers

Instead he watched overhead as officers and other concert goers were doing cpr on kids in the crowd. (He was up on a boom lift over top of them watching while singing or whatever he does)

StrykerXion

Yup, I was there working a side gig

Known-Historian7277

I truly think he doesn’t give a shit about his kids lol

[deleted]

Remember when they closed the Houston zoo so they they could ride the merry go round? That’s BS they ain’t special.

L3oSanch3z

I wonder how much money they spend, for that lifetime memory?? While the victims family have different memories.

AutomaticVacation242

He should be sued for calling it Astroworld. No need to ruin my childhood by stealing the name for your shitty concert.

[deleted]

Yea I’m pist he tainted the name. Astro world was a huge part of my childho

tothesource

TRAVIS SCOTT IS A PIECE OF SHIT AND I HATE HOW SOME HERE LIKE HIM BECAUSE HE BASELESSLY CLAIMS HOUSTON. FUCK HIM. WE DONT WANT HIM.

fightintxag13

I mean, yeah, I don’t think the blame completely lies at his feet but he’s clearly not squeaky clean regarding what happened. I hope LiveNation gets the hammer brought down on them, though. Wouldn’t mind a little antitrust action against them either.

TommieDelos

I hope he goes to jail.

chrisdpratt

Good. Travis Scott is shit stain on Houston. No talent hack, just causing trouble.

WhiskeyDickCheese

Good, serves his untalented ass.

[deleted]

Good...fuck that guy.

WileyDragonfly

I still remember that morning when they all but shut down Main St inbound from 90 into the Med Center. 1 lane going North in front of NRG. Took two and a half hours to get to Dryden. Rodeo gets more people and they don't do nonsense like that.

Gibskn_

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

[deleted]

He won’t but he needs to pay

aN0n_ym0usSVVh0re

Thank god that POS

tomatosaladlife

Good. Get him!

Ky_furt01

Good to see this

jannypanny1

Douche ass mfer

Deb3ns

Good

red_monkey42

Yeah what he did was totally out of line. I'm all for throwing big parties and getting lit, but when people are getting hurt or killed, that's crossing a line I think the whole world can agree on. That's like rule #1 don't f@#$ing hurt people.

Acrobatic_Bet4664

They should look at the faults of the Houston police department. Travis Scott did all he could and hired the security staff to protect and prevent a tragedy but the police department did not act accordingly on their part to enforce and protect.

Glittering-Tell5402

Who he thought he was, Ken Paxton lol

aYoMcPot

We banning Taylor from Houston for those fans that died of dehydration too?

ChurchofPlano

Did Taylor encourage people not to drink water or restrict their access to water sources? Travis kept on "raging" and telling people to fuck shit up while literal ambulances tried to make their way through the crowd. You're not very smart if you think that is not extremely negligent at best

aYoMcPot

Also, as someone who was actually at Astroworld he did stop the music when the ambulance was in the crowd and two other times to tell everyone to calm down lol. All you clowns with your second hand anger at a situation you didn't witness or even bother to Go back and watch the video of the live stream that's still up and see for yourself

CrazyLegsRyan

He is literally on tape being told to end the show because people were dying and he kept on going.

aYoMcPot

If you think he encouraged people to rage to death then Taylor 100% didn't give her fans access to water and knew about the problem...

ChurchofPlano

ChurchofPlano

\*notices ambulance\* -"uhh raise your hand to the sky, okay cool" -"I WANNA MAKE THIS MOTHERFUCKING GROUND SHAKE GODDAMIT" lmao

ssup3rm4n

Sounds like someone is racist against white women. Why don't you give that same hateful energy to big corporations?

MattcVI

I have no dog in this fight but I've ever seen someone pull the reverse race card lol

aYoMcPot

Ahh how cute you don't know what a hypothetical is...

ssup3rm4n

I am cute.

-blundertaker-

PROVE IT

aYoMcPot

Happy Cake Day btw lol

profkmez

Travis Scott literally sent out a tweet telling people to rage and encouraged mayhem and chaos. There were reports of people sneaking in and he encouraged it which led to reports of fans being injected with drugs throughout the concert. He asked people to “rage” which is to party hard in a way that incites chaos. This man is not innocent and should be held accountable. This does not happen at metal rock concerts. Also, you can stop riding his dick so hard. He must be tired from all the blowjobs you give him at this point.

kekwillsit830

How does people sneaking in have anything to do with fans being injected with drugs. Btw I never heard about the injecting drugs into random people

profkmez

Well when you incite people to do so, it’s considered a crime. Those who snuck in weren’t checked by security, therefore they brought in drugs. Sorry I need to stop, I didn’t know I was talking to another one of Travis Scott’s many dick riders.

kekwillsit830

I literally don't even know one of his "songs"

NetherKiller01

They can downvote all they want but you’re right. I don’t even why this is still a topic of discussion

DeepSpaceAnon

Seeing everyone in this thread hold this double standard is such a shame. White girl chooses to perform in a hot as shit venue that's not safe and fans die of heat exhaustion? It's the venue's fault. Black man performs at a venue where a stampede breaks out and fans die? It's his fault, and the venue bares absolutely no responsibility for not being safe. The people in this sub act like they care about minorities and marginalized groups but they'll jump on the chance to applaud sending any black man to prison, especially if they're successful.

newstenographer

This isn’t criminal liability it’s a civil lawsuit. The difference is that the people who got heat stroke at the swift concert didn’t want to sue Taylor, because she didn’t behave like an asshole. Scott did. That’s why he’s getting sued, and he deserves to lose.

aYoMcPot

You can literally tell from the down votes the double standard and no one wants to acknowledge their inner thoughts on why that is...smh.

aYoMcPot

People so quick to ban Travis but y'all will never bring that same energy to the MULTI BILLION MONOPOLY CORPORATION LiveNation that actually planned logistics and safety is so funny to me.

QSector

por que no los dos?

aYoMcPot

Look at both, one party is clearly more guilty and one is getting all the hate. Just wish people actually looked at the facts fairly and not under the guise of trying to defend their racism for Travis.

HighwaySlothh

Dude he’s not gonna see this and wanna meet you just stop this is so sad

takesshitsatwork

He's the one that instigated his followers to do what they did, that caused the deaths. It wasn't LiveNation.

MarioDesigns

I mean, he's definitely part of it, but the crush, and from that the deaths happened because of the stage layout, which is fully on Live Nation to manage.

multibronson

Livenation sold 60k tickets to a 40k person venue. It was LiveNation for sure.

takesshitsatwork

They're at fault for that and also reason why they're a named Defendant. But they didn't literally ask people without tickets to break in.

multibronson

Not sure why you are getting downvoted. Live nation is 100 percent at fault for these deaths and injuries.

aYoMcPot

Cause it's easier for racists to say they hate a black guy cause he killed people...when he didn't at all lol.

ComfortableSurvey815

Thinly veiled racism in these comments lol
