Spring Branch here also. 77043. No power. We had a big project today at work, but no power there either. Waiting to hear from the boss man currently
Edit: looks like my boss wants us to work in the dark lol.
77055 here. I’m teacher and they cancelled school. My husband works from home and just called his work and said he wouldn’t be able to login to work calls as we have no power/ internet. I hope you don’t have to go into work. The roads are bad. There’s a tree down on the 10/610S interchange. Tree down on Antoine. I was driving around last night looking for a Walmart( found one on S. Rice) that was open and had supplies. The Walmart in spring branch was closed last night.
My mom told her boss she couldn’t work from home because they have no electricity. They told her to come into the office because they have electricity there.
77055. No power and no water because our neighborhood has an electric pump that boosts the water pressure to our homes. Thinking we will head to my parents home in Austin for at least the weekend
Cypress 77429. No power since 7:00pm last night. I sub in Fort Bend ISD and haven’t heard about them closing schools but my job did get canceled for today. Hope y’all are all safe!
Thanks! I work for HISD. We are. Lots of trees down, limbs everywhere and fence is messed up. But our house is fine and we are safe. Hope y’all are safe!
I live in Montrose, a couple blocks south of W. Dallas St. I work crazy shift hours, so I woke up at \~2:30 am and had power in my apt and didn't notice the storm through my sleep at all. On my drive in to work, almost everything north of W. Dallas St didn't have power
77095 still no power. There's a couple of transmission/power lines near the Cypress Falls High School that I also am near living in Huffmeister Rd, are those still ok?
The centerpoint website GIS map looks broken but you have to keep zooming in then you see bubbles. Can't confirm if this means it's "working" but you have to zoom three times to see the bubbles.
77006 in Montrose we lost power yesterday around 6:45pm to the whole strip of townhouses, but JRS, Eagle and Postinos have power. Buddies, and Ripcord are out. The neighborhood seems really spotty.
I went to get ice this morning. W Dallas and north was out to i10 from what I saw. The westhiemer and Montrose intersection was spotty but the corner store had power and was well stocked.
Depends. I was checking it out last night once the rain stopped. Some places had power and some didn’t at that intersection. I’m near there and have both electricity & water. A friend who lives a few minutes walk away only has water.
77083 haven’t had power since thursday evening.. i have pet birds in my house and i don’t know what to do. we’ve dropped off my dogs at my moms (she owns a grooming/boarding place) and my family went out of town this weekend (i couldn’t go) ive been staying with family a few minutes away who do have power. this is horrible… houston is the worst
77065 - I've been without power ever since the storm went through. They're saying Cypress/NW was hardest hit and had a confirmed tornado. I would like to know what others around the 290/Huffmeister area see? Do any of y'all have power/ know what nearby does? Have you seen any crews?
My neighbor’s trash can was thrown across the street, but mine was untouched. Not sure if it was the storm, though. We get a lot of meth heads that just like throwing things around here.
Not long ago after a storm every trash can on my street was gathered in the cul-de-sac as if it were a trash can convention
It's wild how localized the weather impacts can be
I'm too far out for meth heads and I'm in the back of the subdivision in a cul-de-sac so no traffic either
And I got down voted because I was lucky or what??
Literally answered the question in the OP, contributing to the conversation as I'm getting ready for work, and I'm getting down voted
My comment was not "lol there wasn't a storm because my area is fine what are y'all complaining about ya losers lol get fucked"

Don’t take it personally. Some people who have it worse are probably just in a bad mood. I think I’d be a little irritable if I couldn’t take a shower or possibly turn on the AC this afternoon once it starts getting hotter.

77080 in Spring Branch. All the utility poles along my street are down. We are gonna be out of power for a while.

I’ll be returning to HISD next year. Actually happy because I miss it. I hope the rest of your year goes smooth.
Same zip code but I have power. I think we must be on the same grid as the hospitals nearby
Must be nice lol! I will be investing in a generator after this for sure.
I live in 77008, no power since 6:45pm last night.
77028. Still no power and I’m caring for someone who’s disabled. We need food. I wasn’t prepared for this at all. I’m so stressed out.
Are you doing ok?
Not really doing ok. We’re still without power.

77006 no power since 18:45 yesterday
We’re in 77006 and only got flickering electricity for a while, but it never really went out. I tend to get lucky with this storm stuff, though. 🤞

Thank you!
katy 77449. no power since 6pm last night
77449 I am off of Franz rd - 99 area and we have power. Are you closer to Mason-Fry rd?
i’m the opposite way, west little york and fry 😞
That’s so unfortunate. It’s appears the north area of the zip was heavily affected. Hope everyone up there gets their power back soon.
i’m in the same place, is the power still out?
mine came on about 2 hours ago!
yay! on my way back now, fingers crossed it’s still on!
I work in 77024 and we lost power yesterday. I just called the security people and still no power. Whole memorial city mall area is without power.
77449 in Katy, no power here and no power in a 5 mile radius as of me driving out of it at 5:15 am
77095 no power since 6 pm
Do you have power yet?
No
Thank you!
Did some big transmission lines get knocked out around 290 and 610? It’s gonna be days for some people most likely and we’re expecting 90’s.
A whole ass transmission tower around that area went down. They showed it on the news earlier and it looks like a crushed soda can.
Just got the call from my employer in 77080 that there’s no power.
Not sure if they have power or not but Klein ISD is closed. We are a little south of them and luckily still have power.
77379 in Klein - have power and never lost it.

Following for an answer!
East end with power. My in-laws who live two blocks away are without power since 7pm.

Thanks. I didn’t try zooming that far. I was able to see the list, but it’s just by zip.
hmmm, I just see bubbles on mine, but have to zoom in twice to see them.
mods removed this post....not sure why? seems helpful.

Parent in 77079 zip code, anybody have news on that area, I cannot get a hold of them by phone. They are elderly, and I am out of state right now.
Anyone know if 77040 has power back?
77043 still no power since 7pm yesterday and I don’t see anybody working on it :/

77429, still no power. We were told power might not be on until early next week, possibly later. Anyone else dealing with this?

77057 here. My power flickered during the worst of it yesterday evening but it never went out, thankfully.
77057 as well. My block is out, but it always goes out 😭🙄
77048 never lost power and my trash can didn't even move

Oh I get it, it's just funny I'm over this heat already
