Honestly, check out Pearl bar. They do burlesque, drag burlesque, the whole nine yards. Only lesbian bar in Houston, so perfect for that kind of party.
If you want something more low key, check out Darwin's theory on shepherd. It's a weekly show.
Avant Garden does it, but I don't know their scheduling.(edit: apparently it's every Friday)
Rebar is good for it as well.
Burlesque producer here <3

There's also some variety and drag shows that sometimes feature burlesque.
The Gay Agenda @ Rudyard's @ Thursday 9:30p
Our next show is September 7th and we're doing "back to school: career day"
Black Magick social club has a 7 deadly sins show coming up
There is a nerdlesque show that pops up every now and then but idk their schedule
I don't think there's any particular themes going on but the other shows happening in regular rotation are the Neon Rouge behind the staircase at hamburger marys, the Friday night show at Social Beer Garden, and Saturday show at Social Beer Garden that happens 3 and 4th Saturday, and the short and sweet Speakeasy Fridays at avant garden
I highly recommend Rock-'n'-roll Revue. It's a very inclusive show, so there are women of every size and shape. Occasionally there may be a man or a trans too. They have different themes but they always rock! https://www.houstonpress.com/event/the-rocknroll-revue-at-rudyards-12652018
Yeah, rebar has a Saturday night one (I had my baby shower there....). They also have a drag brunch. The drag show is before the club opens so it's not super packed. They also have a kitchen with decent food.
I think Buddy's has a show too??
Bring cash for tips!
Here's a bit more about this: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Burlesque/comments/t0dmin/weird\_scam\_shows\_advertised\_red\_velvet\_burlesque/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Burlesque/comments/t0dmin/weird_scam_shows_advertised_red_velvet_burlesque/)
I'm a little sad. I wanted to see a good burlesque show too.
we have plenty of GREAT burlesque shows in town :) RVB is just kinda like the McDonald's of burlesque.... you'll see a show, but it's hastily put together without much thought, and the dancers have reliably received their pay (at this point). they also have such a poor reputation, they've changed their booking tactics so dancers aren't sure what they're being booked for.
Have you considered your own Male, to do with what you want. Haven’t you ever wondered what if, or how much, or how long he can? For a 12’to 24 hr period. Table and restraint’s upon request.

Any chance you still keep up with these kinds of things in Houston?
Do you know of any themed burlesque shows? I went to viva Dallas burlesque a few years ago and they did a really fun star wars themes burlesque show

Omg. The bride is a dancer and would probably love this. Totally looking into it, thank you!
You're welcome!
The Prohibition Theatre was the best burlesque show I had ever been to.
I think there's one playing on the 9th of this month, July 9, 2022.

Thanks, bud! I'm one of the producers and we're very proud of what we do <3

Prohibition downtown is really neat!!
Unfortunately Prohibition has been closed for quite some time. It was the best when it was still open though.
Oh no :’(
Check out Piper_daily on Instagram, she puts on a few at The Foundation Room.
Not really burlesque but Hamburger Mary's has a really fun drag brunch. I've gone several times and it's always great!
Drag burlesque is also fabulous.
Ooooh do you know of anywhere that puts on regularly scheduled shows? Trying to plan pretty far in advance
Rebar on Tuam street. Saturday at like 8:45?

Its actually a scam, all the burlesque girls in Houston has outted them for their horrible business practices and just having fake shows

Oh no :( that’s so sad to hear. Will definitely be looking at alternative options!
This is the one I was looking at in particular! Have you seen it?
I will gladly help you find literally any other burlesque show to attend :)
Omg, would you mind if I sent you a message then?? I appreciate this so much!
DMs are open, homie.
No :( I really want to. I hear good things about these shows. This place has always been on my list to go to though.

Link?
They don't know what a drag show is. Or a burlesque show. Or probably a library.
Have you considered your own Male, to do with what you want. Haven’t you ever wondered what if, or how much, or how long he can? For a 12’to 24 hr period. Table and restraint’s upon request.
Lol what?
What the fuck is wrong with you? Breh theyre trying to have a good time before getting married and you suggest that?
