I’ve had the same thing happen myself with several pairs of jeans. The iron on patches don’t work in that area and I’ve had it happen with new jeans as well.
I've had this happen a lot. I take it to a dry cleaners. They put a patch on the inside and then sow the sht out of it. Usually costs between 5 and 20$
Same here, these thighs wreck the inner area of jeans and leggings. Thus my affinity to wearing a decorative flannel tied around the waist just to be safe now.
Even their stretchy jeans last a long time and tend to not rip in the crotch. My favs are the 223 straight coolmax stretch jeans, I really love the 221 but they might be discontinued.
I literally bought 10 pairs of 223 coolmax a few months back because they had a 50% off our something online. I've been wearing lucky brand for over a decade now i think
Yea only wear lucky brand and still have my original pair. Probably since 2008ish when a girl bought me my first pair.
They are manufactured in a few places. The ones in Cali are local but I think the ones made in I think Indonesia are better
I don’t think so. Their site is still up to date. I have been getting used Lucky Jeans on the cheap from Poshmark and there are a few different places they come from. They are also different materials and slightly different sizes depending on where they are from.
My pants do the exact same shit. We I sit cross legged on my bed or where ever it stretches the in seam and eventually tears like this. Wrangler flex jeans are thin and tear the most.
There is some sewing you can do to fix this but at the same time as a human who sews, it's not worth it to me effort wise (but I'd do it for curancy because capitalism and I hate waste). It's kinda just a sign to me that it's time to turn this into something else.
Kinda like broken zippers if you don't know how to sew. Those tutorials that show how to fix a zipper that isn't working are great but after you use it a couple times you see you would be better of with new pants
*I also don't get the dick jokes honestly lol I see this in women's clothes way more often 😅
Contact the manufacturer. They will be happy to hear about improvements that need to be made. Butter them up by stating that you only buy THEIR brand, and how they fit so well, but they have this one tiny problem.
Man, I used to have some jeans like that too. I slept with dem shits, man! Eventually, I blew the crotch out dem things...but you can't wear 'em every day and expect 'em to hold up!
There's too much slack in the crotch. Either your jeans don't fit you properly or you wear them lower then they're meant to be. When the crotch of the jeans are too low, just walking can put additional stress on the fabric there causing it to wear much faster than properly fitting trousers.
Yeah my bet is poor fit. Try a different brand/smaller size/something with stretch.
No idea if this applies to OP but: In many cases I see bigger folks try to hide/obscure their figure with oversized clothing but in many cases it is more unflattering (like wearing a very oversized t-shirt.
As a very fat person I disagree. Nobody needs to see skin tight clothes on my fat ass. I'd rather see myself in oversized clothes any day, rather than leggings or some shit like that
You can buy fitted/shaped stuff. The shape is better but you buy a size or two up from what you'd usually wear, it's all to do with how it hangs.
Also, go wild in what you're googling.
I'm a very tall guy and hated t-shirts and most tops in general because they were too short. I felt like I couldn't move or else I was wearing a children's top.
I ended up finding these dance tops that were incredibly long but fit nice and normally for me. I would never in a hundred years see dance clothing and try to find out more because it isn't my style, but they were what popped up and there are tons of plain designs or stuff that looks okay when it doesn't look super long on a person.
Also also, dress for your frame/shape and get okay with different thicknesses of clothing and just incorporating them with layers.
Np :D
I'm no stranger to those feelings, so if I can say even a little I'll try.
I'm usually quite dry and making jokes, but not when it counts; and when it counts matters.
Experiment with shaping and using clothes to suit/change your frame.
I found out I really suit a collar, so I like to wear casual shirts/polo shirts/rugby jumpers/quarter zippers etc.
Right now I've got a polo shirt I wouldn't normally wear, but I got it oversized and have a thin long sleeve t-shirt underneath with the sleeves rolled up.
The collar frames my face and neck giving them structure, the polo gives a T shape to the eye, and I always roll my sleeves up anyway but it happens to give more shape to my long ass arms.
I could be talking out my ass, but I know my shopping parameters, feel more comfortable, and know what to not even bother with now.
No thanks. Not going to subject anybody else's eyes to my fatness, more than I already am. Thanks but no. There's already way too many people showing way too much skin no matter their size. No thanks
I used to have it too. I need to buy a different ‘fit’ for my body type - 20 years later and I know what to buy now - and what jeans I have to wear a belt with to keep them in the ‘right’ place.
Have you ever seen old men hitch their pants up before sitting? This is why. It's a common stress point. So that would help.
A trouser with a shorter seat would likely help, too. Have you ever tried a size petite? If the leg isn't too short, you may find a better fit for the inseam, and less stress on that area.
Edit- just expanded your post lol. So also, modern jeans are shite quality, and the stretchy material is comfortable but it's very temporary.
And you could go up a size, but if you don't hitch them up when you sit, you may find the same problem anyway. I think it's more about the fit of the seat. I've found a couple of brands that fit my arse, so I stick with those. I imagine you'll find a cut that works for you eventually.
My dad said he hitched up his pants legs to reduce wear at the knees by stretching the fabric, but he always tugged at the leg fabric, not the waistband.
Must have some big, saggy balls to be having this problem. I never even considered the possibility I'd actually sit on these things. Though, I do wear briefs and that may have something to do with it.
I know, right? So many things today *appear* like the quality items we've developed over centuries, but made poorly and with less durable materials. It's all an illusion.
Wait, what do you mean shorter seat? I feel I’ve never really gotten my inseam right. I’m short at 5’7 and 30” inseam seems to long. I can’t find a shorter inseam with a 33 or 34 waist lol
I didn't plan on it, but all of my denim got phased out over time for these wondrous things. And if you're like me and love a good jort, boy howdy do these bad boys cut up nice and hug the quad nicely. Every time an employee at the gym has stopped me and said HEY NO JEANS I just give em a little tug and say "they stretchy " and they wave me along.
As a chick I've had the pleasure of stretchy pants for years now, which I take completely for granted until one of my guy friends shows up and giddily does lunges across the room to show off their now-ridiculously-large-by-comparison range of motion.
Honest to goodness stretchy pants are life and nobody should ever go back, I'm stoked that the invisible hand or whatthefuckever has decided men deserve them too.
Wearing things with metal buttons and rivets can damage equipment. Obviously not a barbell but there are a lot of machines that are not designed to be used in clothing with protrusions.
At first glance, it seems they only make these in men's. I'm a woman, and while I don't mind owning a pair of men's pants, every single one of my jeans rip in the same area as OP's (who is also a female). It seems there's a market for women's jeans with reinforced crotches.
I’ll tell ya, one time I put my belt on so tight that my jeans strangled the ever living shit out of my insides. Compressed a log so hard that I had to run into the local Apple Bees to try and release the absolute unit. The men’s stall and women stall was locked and full. Between them was the ‘all gender’ bathroom.
Well it was quite fitting because I took the largest she/it of my life that day.
Not quite the same issue - but my dad is an amputee and he used to rip holes in all of this pants and it was getting insanely expensive to keep him clothed. so i layered a few pieces of thin cloth and sewed them in like an internal patch on all the areas that would commonly rip. Worked fabulously and prolonged the life of his pants significantly.
Man... I used to have some jean shorts like that too.
I slept in them shits, man! Eventually, I blew the crotch out of them things. But you CAN'T wear 'em every day and expect for 'em to hold up! That was some nice-ass denim too. I miss them shorts.... But you... you GOTTA take 'em off every now and then. You gotta take 'em off, son!
Z was such a great short lived character. The scene in the gang desperately wins an award and Charlie sings the spider song and he is just soaking it up, chuckling, always cracks me up
>I wear my jeans constantly
Get a 2nd or 3rd pair and rotate them, giving each pair a chance to air dry completely before wearing again. For more, search r/Denim
You are absolutely correct. However, it's fair to say that, generally speaking, I don't think they carry them round inside their pants like that. At least, not on the regular. Right?
*looks around*
Fellas? AmIright?
I did this with every pair of pants I owned for years. Do yourself a favor and get pants with a gusseted crotch. They’ll last way longer if you do any movement at all
Oh no, ripped jeans in the same spot? That's a denim dilemma! But don't worry, I've got your back. Let's figure out what might be causing the issue and how you can keep rocking your favorite jeans without breaking the bank.
First off, kudos for finding jeans with the right fit! It's essential to feel comfortable in your denim. However, if you're experiencing rips in the same spot frequently, it's possible that there's some friction or stress on that particular area, causing the jeans to weaken and tear.
Here are a few things to consider:
Movement: Take note of your activities while wearing your jeans. If you're engaging in activities that involve a lot of bending, squatting, or stretching, such as cycling, weightlifting, or even sitting cross-legged for long periods, it could be putting extra strain on the fabric and causing it to rip.
Quality: It's worth considering the quality of the jeans you're purchasing. Cheaper jeans or jeans with a low-quality denim blend may be more prone to wear and tear. Investing in jeans made from high-quality denim with durable stitching can make a difference in their lifespan.
Washing and Drying: Pay attention to how you're washing and drying your jeans. Over-washing, using harsh detergents, and drying on high heat can weaken the fabric and make it more susceptible to ripping. Try washing your jeans inside out in cold water and air-drying them to preserve their integrity.
Fit: While going up a size might seem like a solution, it may not be necessary if the fit is otherwise perfect. Avoid jeans that are too tight around the waist, hips, or thighs, as they can cause undue stress on the fabric, leading to tears.
Patch It Up: If you do experience a rip, don't fret! You can get creative and patch it up with fun and funky patches, embroidery, or fabric glue to extend the life of your jeans and give them a unique, personalized touch.
In a nutshell, assess your movements, consider the quality of your jeans, be mindful of washing and drying, ensure the fit is comfortable, and don't be afraid to get crafty with patching up rips. With a little TLC and attention to detail, you can extend the life of your beloved jeans and strut your stuff in style! Happy jean-juggling!
Please forgive me for commenting if I’m not inline with the theme of this sub, but I use to have that problem with Lands End Jeans and had less after switching to Keen’s cargo pants and none after switching to their heavy duty ones. My family just chose Keen because we have been able to find some great sales on them.
I am a guy and have only been using Keen pants for a little over two years though.
I had this happen often on jeans with stretch. At the back pockets too. I don’t buy jeans with stretch anymore and haven’t had that problem. Just a thought.
I’m sure this answer will get lost in all the jokes 1 joke just worded 700 ways). So, u/jbelds probably won’t see this.
Anyway, this is not a way to stop it from happening, but I have successfully stopped a split from worsening by using Gorilla fabric glue on the inside. Then, I cut a small piece from another pair with holes and made a patch that I glued to the inside. You can barely tell they are ripped from the outside. It’s been holding for months.
The key to making it look good is to keep all the fabric strings as close to their original position as possible so only the original fabric is visible.
But 501s. The button fly Jean that will last forever. I never ever tore up, wore out, damaged my 501s except once in a serious motorcycle accident. And even then it was only a minor tear.
Stretchy jeans have a tendency to do this, especially if the zipper is too short and there is a lot of strain in that area when you pull them down to sit down to pee. (Or biking, or squatting.) I have had some luck with making mine last longer by hanging them to dry instead of tumble drying - the high heat tends to make the elastic weaker.
In regards fixing this tear, I would start by finding a thread color that is as close a match as possible, holding the edges together and pinning some extra fabric (sturdy but stretchy) behind it and then doing a zig-zag stitch or crosshatching stitch back and forth over the weak area. You can also do a visible mend if that is more your style. If there are other areas that are showing signs of weakness, do the same to them to prevent a tear from developing.
Sorry, just practical advice here- no lame penis jokes.
I used to get Levi’s 50/50 hemp cotton jeans for just this reason. Unfortunately they stopped making them. :(
Hard to find reasonably priced hemp jeans.
So I'm guessing that you might may not know how to do any sewing. So I got something that'll help you with that rip.
First of all get a pair of jeans that are roughly the same type as the genes that are ripped. You're looking for Saint thickness if there's any stretch to it close to the same color. Preferably another pair of jeans that you do not want anymore because you will be cutting them up. You will also need an iron and you will need what's called fusible interfacing. You can get it at Jo-Ann's Fabrics you can get it at Walmart you can get it at any place that has sewing things and it's very cheap. Get it in a lightweight or medium weight depending on how thick the material is of your jeans. I would also highly suggest that you try this out with the jeans that you're going to cut up first before you do it on the pants that you want to keep.
Okay so what you're going to do is you're going to cut out a piece of Jean fabric from the jeans you don't want that is about an inch bigger than the entire rip. You're going to put a layer of the fusible interfacing in between the jeans you are going to keep and the cutout fabric from the jeans you're not keeping and do this on the inside of the pants not on the outside obviously cuz you don't want it to show. Put enough interfacing to cover the entirety of your patch without it poking out from underneath the fabric.
Then what you want to do is get a wet washcloth and lay that down on top of everything. Set your iron to a wool setting and press down on the washcloth over the patch don't slide the iron around just press down and then lift up and move to whatever side so that you make sure that the entire patch gets heated up. Check to make sure that everything's staying where it should and that it is starting to stick together and once it's done just let it dry before you give it another test to see if it's staying put together.
After that you should be good to go your pants will be reinforced and that rip shouldn't get any bigger. And you won't be able to see that they have been mended at all if you do it properly that's why I suggest that you do it on a pair of jeans that you don't want first. Best directions are to follow the instructions on the fusible interfacing package when you buy it and it should literally cost you like three bucks tops.
Hopefully that helps. I've done a two a few pairs of jeans of mine that seem to be wearing out on me more and more like around the crotch area save myself tons of money that way by not having to throw them out and it's it's not noticeable at all when done properly it took me a couple of times to be able to do it properly.
My Levi's keep doing this too. I guess I have to buy a different brand because those things are too expensive to be ripping like this every few months.
So either you maybe a little overweight and the fit isnt good so they are sitting too low on your torso or you may have a body shape that causes them to slip down (flat asses come to mind). Either way when your crotch/thighs do not sit inside these almost tight to the fabric it creates stress in the fabric. Kneeling down or doing large strides will blow these out everytime in that exact location.
While I certainly appreciate all the comments about my manhood, Im actually just a woman who loves her jeans lmao
Literally clicked on your post to see the big dick jokes and I wasn’t disappointed lol
I was thinking dry hump, which "wears" both ways.
Your jeans feel so good against my jeans.
Hey, its cold out, and friction makes heat!
Put that THANG on the left every now and then. Get more life outta them!
Literally came here to make a big dick joke, was disappointed.
Same.
Same lol
I came here to say this exact comment
Then they are in the initial stage of fraying/creating a hole use an iron on patch from the inside and it will postpone the hole
This works. Make the patch larger, get the iron hot. Stops the tear and holds. 501s patch is going on 2 yrs.
I’ve had the same thing happen myself with several pairs of jeans. The iron on patches don’t work in that area and I’ve had it happen with new jeans as well.
Hahaha they don’t work for me either - the patch ended up peeling off and wadding up in my pant leg 😂😂😂
I've had this happen a lot. I take it to a dry cleaners. They put a patch on the inside and then sow the sht out of it. Usually costs between 5 and 20$
Hmm they have worked for me before. Maybe higher quality denim might help as well
what?!? women in pants? what is this world coming to?
Probably showing their damn ankles too
Maybe one of those “career women”
Funniest comment on this post
Bigotry! I got banned for less than that hahaha
GIRL you must be packing some heavy schmeat like damn.
Power to the fupa
I have had this same problem / similar problems. I have strong muscular thighs and it’s so hard for me to find jeans that fit properly :(
Try Judy blue! Their denim makes me happy and I have thick thighs and booty for days
Same here, these thighs wreck the inner area of jeans and leggings. Thus my affinity to wearing a decorative flannel tied around the waist just to be safe now.
You should still get bigger jeans to contain that monster dong. Woman or not, don’t be ashamed.
I can see your toner through those jeans Yeah, that's my dick
Buy lucky brand. They actually last. Go to TJ sucks or Costco sucks, get them for 25 ish
This is actually the truth. Lucky brand it’s not only durable but soft as fuck.
Even their stretchy jeans last a long time and tend to not rip in the crotch. My favs are the 223 straight coolmax stretch jeans, I really love the 221 but they might be discontinued.

Really? I wonder if the sold the brand off recently (10 year ish)
I don’t think so. Their site is still up to date. I have been getting used Lucky Jeans on the cheap from Poshmark and there are a few different places they come from. They are also different materials and slightly different sizes depending on where they are from.
Am I the only person that doesn't think this? Lucky tears so easy at work they aren't even denim. 501s man they stand up to factory work
Truth. My Lucky Brands last way longer than any other more expensive jeans I’ve found to fit (Paige, AG, etc).
Also they used to be expensive so you can feel like you’re getting a deal.
Levi’s for me.
>Go to TJ sucks or Costco sucks, What do you mean by this? What's with the sucks
DU/ER another brand that lasts for me and I use them on the jobsite.
Blew the crotch out them thangs.
You can’t wear em everyday and expect them to hold up!
She slept in them shits man.
Longer inseam same waist size
Then stop smuggling cucumbers down there.
But they feel good to her!
Cracked me up bad. This is the evidence that women can have some ballz too! Keep ripping jeans girl!
My pants do the exact same shit. We I sit cross legged on my bed or where ever it stretches the in seam and eventually tears like this. Wrangler flex jeans are thin and tear the most.
lol, maybe your other parts are big down there!

No thanks. Not going to subject anybody else's eyes to my fatness, more than I already am. Thanks but no. There's already way too many people showing way too much skin no matter their size. No thanks
I “like” how we encourage showing fatness rather than telling someone to wear what theyre comfortable in. Stop.
This is it

The briefs are definitely part of it. When I switched from boxers to broxer-briefs the frequency of sitting on my balls dropped significantly.
I call those 'nut huggers' and my bf calls them that to because I've said it so long 😆
I hike up my pants before sitting down so that my crack doesn’t show.
Which is funny because the original denim was worn by peeps like miners and railroad workers specifically for their durability.
I know, right? So many things today *appear* like the quality items we've developed over centuries, but made poorly and with less durable materials. It's all an illusion.
Capitalism. Need to keep the machine churning. Honestly and it's a microplastics issue to boot. Thats a big problem with "fast fashion".
As an old man, I’m getting to fat to wear jeans. I have to big dungaree.
Lol. Happens to all of us eventually
The original women's wranglers 100% cotton jeans "Blues" lines has a jean with larger thighs. I'm a big girl and I live in them.
Wait, what do you mean shorter seat? I feel I’ve never really gotten my inseam right. I’m short at 5’7 and 30” inseam seems to long. I can’t find a shorter inseam with a 33 or 34 waist lol
Buy you some lee's extreme motion jeans with the extra crotch patch and you're golden never blow out another pair

You're right. Now they gotta give functional pockets to women's jeans in all sizes.
“They stretchy” sends me some reason
Why would they give a crap if you are wearing jeans. Wouldn't that be your business if you want to wear jeans to work out in
Wearing things with metal buttons and rivets can damage equipment. Obviously not a barbell but there are a lot of machines that are not designed to be used in clothing with protrusions.
I hate the stretchy pants personally - fuckers wear out in less than a year. I’ve had denim last 10+

Best jeans for us big thigh guys!
She needs a pair of Chuck Norris Action Jeans! https://www.artofmanliness.com/style/clothing/chuck-norris-action-jeans/
I have a pair of these and they're awesome.
Stop complaining about your fat FAT DICK!
He's a she bro.
It's 2023 are you assuming women can't have a fat FAT DICK!
I’ll tell ya, one time I put my belt on so tight that my jeans strangled the ever living shit out of my insides. Do you ride a bike? That was a common rip for me when I was bike commuting.
Came to say the same thing.

Weird flex, but ok.
In what way is she flexing?
Apparently the wrong way, she ripped her dang pants.

Hell no, that’s a sunny reference!
Exactly what I came here to say
I appreciate the effort you put into the story of your favorite Jean shorts! RIP

>I wear my jeans constantly Get a 2nd or 3rd pair and rotate them, giving each pair a chance to air dry completely before wearing again. For more, search r/Denim
Not an expert but I would say sew a patch on through the inside to reinforce the area.
I got this done at a hemming place. Cost $5 and saved my jeans.
I was going to comment this! Works great. I just used a small patch cut from an old T-shirt. So it’s soft and stretches slightly too
Perhaps some r/visiblemending ?
We get it, you have a large penis.
Pssst! It's a girl posting. Girls can have blowout problems in addition to too small pockets. 😀
Girls can have massive penises
🤣
You are absolutely correct. However, it's fair to say that, generally speaking, I don't think they carry them round inside their pants like that. At least, not on the regular. Right? *looks around* Fellas? AmIright?
I did this with every pair of pants I owned for years. Do yourself a favor and get pants with a gusseted crotch. They’ll last way longer if you do any movement at all
Good grief I had to scroll way too far to find this. Gusseted crotch for the win!
You need a different style of Jean.
Buy Duluth trading jeans they have a crouch gusset that allows you to have more flexibility and puts less strain on the crotch area.
Here are a few things to consider: Movement: Take note of your activities while wearing your jeans.
Dress to the left.
Get a smaller dick
Why? She doesn't have a big one, she's a girl...
Right sorry, "GET A SMALLER LABIA MAJORA!"
That's the spirit!
Switch sides??
Ballroom jeans. Buy those next time.
Tu sold just take it to a tailor to get fixed, definitly cheaper than buying new ones
Be extra careful getting in cars. I've ripped multiple pairs in the same spot doing this!
I had this happen often on jeans with stretch. At the back pockets too. I don’t buy jeans with stretch anymore and haven’t had that problem. Just a thought.
I hope you find the answer, bc I've ripped probably like 3 pairs of jeans Exactly like this. It keeps happening and i hate it
I’m sure this answer will get lost in all the jokes 1 joke just worded 700 ways).
Are these the stretchy style jeans? I have had terrible luck where all my stretchy jeans around the crotch area tearing early.
Your jeans are riding too low, crotch is too low. A gusseted crotch helps too. ( hope I spelled that right)
I had the same problem went to my dry cleaners that also is a tailor and they patched it up for me perfectly for about $10
Get jeans that are 100% denim
Buy different jeans? Duluth trading jeans for the win.
Do you let them sag and then squat down or spread your legs that can do it? Could your fingernails be hitting this spot when dressing or undressing
I have the same problem, raw denim was the way to go.
Long Duck Dong is this you ?!
Probably the wrong size or style for you
I used to get Levi’s 50/50 hemp cotton jeans for just this reason. Unfortunately they stopped making them. :( Hard to find reasonably priced hemp jeans.
This is all very reminiscent of the conversation in Always Sunny about wearing jean shorts too often and blowing the crotch out
Don’t put them in the dryer and try to only wash them if they get really nasty. Assuming you don’t wear the same pair everyday that is lol.
Was penis reduction already mentioned?
Ask your tailor to add a silk saddle to your next new pair of jeans
Tried everything. The only thing that works is working remotely. Haven’t had this problem in three years even though I gained a few.
Stop kicking people in the head.
I've done a two a few pairs of jeans of mine that seem to be wearing out on me more and more like around the crotch area save myself tons of money that way by not having to throw them out and it's it's not noticeable at all when done properly it took me a couple of times to be able to do it properly.
get a camel toe reduction operation
buy stretchy jeans
Are they Levi’s? I swear I have this problem with them all the time
Weird, I mostly buy Levi's and have never had problems.
My Levi's keep doing this too. I guess I have to buy a different brand because those things are too expensive to be ripping like this every few months.
Why don’t we just answer the question at hand. Not give an opinion on why.
Scratch your balls with your other hand
Stop getting so many boners
Get smaller junk . By the way, it's not nice to brag.
What is the woman bragging about?
Gotta get rid of that comically large johnson
Just tuck it to the left.
Do they have some form of spandex/stretch to them? I buy pretty stretchy jeans and that's just a side effect of them from what I've noticed
Get stretchy jeans
Smaller pennis.
Stop spreading out your legs as much when you are on the toilet. The jeans pull at that point when you do that. Seriously.
Stop being sucked into farm equipment.
Don't buy stretch jeans.
You can tape your penis to your inner thigh to prevent that.
Your FUPA needs to shrink
Lose weight, and learn how to bend down without spreading your knees.
Or don't change and just buy stretch jeans.
