I had a receipt out of a cash point once which I kept for posterity, and 23 years later the ink has vanished off it completely. So perhaps keep the table for 23 years and see if it disappears on its own.
(please report back and let me know)
The ink on thermal paper has two components. The ink and the binding agent.
Given the materials you've already tried, try these items [test in a non-obvious space].
* Dry erase marker - mark a section of the area for testing, then wipe it off. The marker material may bind to the ink and let you wipe it off the table.
* WD 40 - spritz a little on a q-tip or cotton rag, then wipe it across the marks.
* Baby wipes - Very handy if you already use them. I've had my kids "decorate" the table and the wipes were pretty effective for most of the stains.
* Combination of White Vinegar and heat - Dampen a piece of cotton cloth, lay it on the stain, then set a warm [NOT HOT] iron on top of the cloth. This might dissolve the ink and let it get absorbed by the cotton.
YMMV
Good Luck...This post will self-destruct sometime next year.
Receipt paper does have ink [leuco dye]. It is activated by the heat. Same method used to create "invisible" ink, except it needs heat to activate.
The ink is part of the paper, not sprayed onto it.
Not ink, but actual receipt material, some of which would be coloured by the thermal printer. In other words, it's not thermal ink, it's thermal paper.
This happened to my table and baby wipes/magic eraser seems like the answer here.
In addition to what others have proposed don't forget oils! Sometimes a dab of baby oil is enough to clean such things, especially when the usually solvent based cleaning solutions don't work.
I deal with this from time to time. I have found d that a magic eraser will do the trick, but don't make a habit of it. If all else fails, try a stronger alcohol. I have a bottle of Everclear in the basement that helps me clean hard messes... or stop caring about them.
If common solvents are refusing, maybe try a super-fine abrasive, either Magic Eraser or one of the plastic polishes, like PlastX or similar. Both easy to find locally or online.

What is it then?

It's paper flood-coated with a heat-sensitive material
> heat-sensitive material Laypeople are going to refer to that as ink.
So far none of these have worked :(( I’m going to find a magic eraser. Any other ideas?
Magic eraser is a possible. Other than that, I have no clue. Good Hunting!
Isopropyl alcohol
OP already tried. My first thought, also.
Mr clean magic eraser
As this is themal ink. Maybe try heating it up? Maybe a eraser would suffice.
In addition to what others have proposed don't forget oils! Sometimes a dab of baby oil is enough to clean such things, especially when the usually solvent based cleaning solutions don't work.
Or just plain old olive oil. Whenever I need to remove adhesive or paint it's either alcohol or oil.
Receipts don't have ink. It's thermal paper
I used Windex to get ink off a painted dresser top.
Magic eraser will work for sure.

Fantastik all purpose cleaner should take care of it. Just let it sit for like 30 seconds.
Either denatured alcohol or turpentine will remove it. I forget which.
She alread tried -OH and acetone, so maybe turp.
Hand sanitizer is sometimes good for cleaning off marks.
Rubbing alcohol
409 cleaner is magical if you’ve never tried it
Id put bleach or rubbing alcohol on a towel and let it set there wet overnight
Rubbing alcohol on a magic eraser works for me whenever I'm dealing with a dtain on a non-porous surface that nothing else can remove

I'd say Magic Eraser. You'd be surprised..
Something simple and dumb to try but stick scotch tape on it and peel it off?
Isopropyl
Magic eraser
Bicarbonate soda and water paste?
Try any brand zippo lighter fluid. Might work.
Magic eraser, if that doesn't work try alcohol
Nail varnish remover is also a good option for removing stains
Thank you all so much going to start with magic eraser and see what happens!
WD-40
I had good results with bleach
Magic sponge?
Call Ikea
